It was a trip to Gold Coast, Australia. Just to share some of my favourite places during the trip. My most favorite place is definitely the Surfers Paradise Beach 🏖️ Surfers Paradise has been a major tourist destination since the 1920s, growing into a vibrant suburb known for its nightlife and shopping. The beach itself is famous for its golden sands and consistent surf breaks. The view was amazing especially during the evening 🌇 📍Surfers Paradise, Gold Coast QLD 4217. We also explored the Burleigh Head National Park. This park is an ancient volcanic headland, offering stunning views and rich indigenous history. The area is also known for its surf breaks and the surrounding nature trails. Is you have spare time, this park definitely somewhere that you wouldn’t want to miss 🥰 📍 Goodwin Terrace, Burleigh Heads QLD 4220. We also visited the Q1 SkyPoint Observation Deck. The Q1 building, completed in 2005, was once the tallest residential tower in the world. The observation deck on the 77th floor provides breathtaking 360-degree views of the Gold Coast. The view was stunning! My friends and I love it so much and this is definitely one of our favorite places in Gold Coast. 📍9 Hamilton Ave, Surfers Paradise QLD 4217. We also went to Sea World which was opened in 1971. Sea World is a marine mammal park and oceanarium, offering educational shows and exhibits. It’s one of the oldest and most popular attractions on the Gold Coast. If you’re traveling with kids, they gonna love this place so much. 📍 Seaworld Dr, Main Beach QLD 4217. We also walked around the Lamington National Park. it was Established in 1915, this UNESCO World Heritage-listed park is home to ancient rainforests, diverse wildlife, and scenic hiking trails. The park is part of the Gondwana Rainforests of Australia. We spent some times to walk around the park, the air was very fresh and we really enjoy our morning walking around park 💯💯💯 📍 Binna Burra QLD 4211. Aside from all the places, I would also recommend you to try Social Eating House + Bar. They served modern Australian with a focus on shared plates. We tried out their signature Broadbeach QLD 4218. Really enjoyed this park as it’s situated on the quieter southern side of the bustling Gold Coast. There’s a beautiful lagoon where you can paddle a kayak or simply wade in the water. A charming path winds around the lagoon, perfect for a peaceful stroll. It’s convenient too, being close to the Surf Club for dining and socialising, with the M1 and supermarkets just a quick drive away. Our site by the pool was a tranquil bonus. Would definitely stay here again!

Best waterfront cabin in the park—possibly on the Gold Coast! We booked last minute and it turned out to be an amazing getaway for the whole family. It's just a short walk to Custard Canteen for coffee and croissants. The facilities were spotless, and the heated water slide pool was such a treat! A fantastic beach escape even in mid-winter. There’s so much to explore; we’ll definitely stay longer next time. Five stars ⭐️!

We stayed in one of the cabins right by the creek—absolutely incredible! The staff were fantastic, and the check-in and check-out process was super smooth. Our group of 92 young adults stayed across the cabins, and everyone had a great experience with cozy and comfortable accommodations. Everything was conveniently close, and we biked everywhere—cafes, beaches, fishing spots. The sunrises and sunsets were absolutely stunning!

It felt like the ocean and the river, a feeling somewhere in between. I went into the water with my child, and played there, lost in the waves and the gentle ripples, for hours. From then on, I began to feel like I was "living" rather than "traveling." ⸻ ② Palm Beach — The Beach That Gets Even Better with Familiarity As I got used to the rhythm of life, whenever I had some free time, I naturally headed to Palm Beach. A place whose expression changes depending on the weather. Even on windy days and calm days, the sound of children's laughter was always loud. This was the place that made us realize we were slowly becoming closer to this city. ⸻ ③ Nerang River — A Place More Precious Because It's Unspecial The Nerang River was a riverside I visited without a specific purpose. I just strolled, rested on a bench, and played with my child, throwing rocks. Even though there were no major events or things to see, I felt at peace here. It was a place I wanted to go to when I needed a moment of 'pause' during the day. ✨ What's Left After a Month These three places were not just places checked off a tourist list, but places that left traces of our family's time there. The times we spent laughing, relaxing, and walking with my child were more memorable and felt more precious than the attractions marked on the map. Days that started at the river, went to the sea, and ended back at the river. Through this flow, both my child and I gradually became familiar with this place. An amazing park with well-maintained amenities situated right by the water. Really enjoyed the adults-only pool area and the on-site café and food truck! The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating. Would absolutely revisit. Planning to bring the entire family (which is quite a few) next time.

19th Ave on the beach is wonderful. Dion and Nicky are excellent and welcoming hosts. We have visited a few times and value their amiable nature and quick responses. The units differ in decor and view; not all offer direct sea views, so it's worth checking when booking, but we've relished each one so far. Each unit is self-contained. The swimming pool, spa, steam room, sauna, and beautiful garden are well kept, with the spa being particularly delightful! There's construction next door, but the noise is minimal and limited to daytime hours. The sound of the waves is more noticeable! Highly recommended for a traditional GC beachside experience.

This camp on the shore of Tallebudgera Creek is incredibly well organized. Check-in was straightforward and the site was spacious. The large, clean amenities, including laundry facilities, were impressive. Conveniently, there's a bus stop right outside the camp with an underpass to cross the busy main road. The bus can take you to Surfers Paradise, with a tram connection at Broadbeach South. Public transport now operates cash-free. The creek, accessible via a short walk under the bridge, has a coffee stall. The camp also has a swimming area in the creek and offers various watersports. The facility boasts a big pool with kids' activities, but the adults-only pool was quiet and generously sized. On-site, there's a large kiosk serving coffee, ice-cream, groceries, and a food truck. This camp is a top recommendation for those visiting the Gold Coast, featuring good free Wi-Fi.

Staying at Tallebudgera Caravan Park was an absolute delight! The reception staff greeted us warmly, and checking in was smooth and effortless. The park's facilities were first-rate, and I was especially taken by the consistent staff presence in the shared spaces.
