Back then, it was my go-to for quick lunches or lazy Sunday meals. Now that I’m an OFW, Buddy’s feels like a reunion with my old self. One bite of their Pancit Lucban and Lucban longganisa, and boom, memories rush in: overtime work nights, after-office dinner dates, or random chika with friends. The area hasn’t changed much. Right next to Buddy’s are the classic fast-food legends: KFC, Jollibee, and McDonald’s—a familiar sight for anyone who's lived or worked in Ortigas.
