Got to try the Kirana VII ship tour ferry from Surabaya to Lombok. It took 22 hours but it didn't feel like it because the view was beautiful, there were beds (dorm style), the facilities were all beautiful, and there were guest artists for dangdut 🤣. Then the edge of the Bali archipelago so you can see Mount Agung. Lombok is really beautiful. Lots of rice fields, you can stay at a homestay by the rice fields, when you walk in the morning, all the villagers invite you for coffee. The waterfalls & beaches are also beautiful. I met a few foreign tourists who came from behind, they said Lombok beach > Bali beach. The best experience was climbing Mount Rinjani. 😆 Climbing with a group from Malaysia. Some can opt to ride a horse but it wont bring you near the volcano mouth. Once you get to the top of the crater rim, you get a clearer and full view directly into the crater! My first stay at the Horison Pasuruan Hotel. I booked a deluxe room with breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable for a rest.
