#falladventures #travel #familytravel It is quite a drive going up to the Windmill Farm. Good scenic drive, but the last bit is not too good due to road works in progress. There is a visitor Center, but it wasn’t manned, and there is a lack of public restrooms. Nice to see the huge windmills and the view from the top. Other than that, there is not much to do there. Few shops selling fresh Buko juice (25 pesos) and souvenirs. Some allow the use of CR (10 peso). Parking space is available. You may lose mobile signal occasionally. If you have time on hand, please visit. This is still a work in progress. where there are already hundreds of wind towers in Ilocos Norte, this wind farm in Pililia only has 27 turbines that are strategically situated in the mountains overlooking Laguna de Bay to harness the southwest wind traversing the area. There is a café and a view deck built at the foot of one of the giant fans. The business is making a killing in terms of parking. Although there is no entrance fee, each vehicle is charged 250 pesos for parking, regardless of the number of passengers. This time, I took advantage of the weekend to visit Windmill Farm Pililla Rizal. The drive from Makati City took about 2 hours. (Depending on traffic conditions, it may take an extra hour or so.) The sight of countless windmills towering into the sky against the backdrop of the majestic Sierra Madre Mountains is like a painting. Just watching the white windmills slowly rotate under the blue sky is soothing. You can forget the hustle and bustle of the city and spend a luxurious time at one with nature. The charm of Windmill Farm! Breathtaking panorama: The windmills lined up on the vast grounds are a picturesque sight no matter where you look. Oneness with nature: Wind power is a clean energy that uses the power of nature to generate electricity. By visiting Windmill Farm, you can feel the future of coexistence with nature. The sun was quite strong, so please be well prepared when visiting. When I visited, I entered two paid areas. (There is a simple observation deck and it looks like it has a nice atmosphere.) One of the places can be entered on foot. The other one can only be entered by car or motorbike. There are also places to get snacks and coffee, so you can relax. #trip

The amazing state-of-the-art wind turbine easily became an attraction with its gigantic fan blowing winds, as if reaching the Laguna Lake. The 54 megawatt is estimated to generate almost 150 giga watt hours which can supply power to about 66,000 households in the Province of Rizal and the Metropolis.

We have been to the windmill farm in the north but it is also nice to see that there is also a windmill farm jsut right outside Metro Manila. For those interested to see these giant windmills but doesn't have the time to go to the north then this is the perfect place to see them. The view is really nice especiall if you want to stay there on a picnic just bring your own blankets or tables to have a picnic! Entrance Fee: 200 per person but double check they might have changed the price already. Address: Manila E Rd, Pililla, Rizal.

If you’re a nature lover, you must truly try this experience in Pililla Rizal. You don’t need a 4x4 car going here. A simple sedan and a brave heart would do. It took us around an hour and a half from Metro Manila to go here. Be cautious though because there is quick a trek going here. It is quite muddy in the trail going here. If you’re a Catholic, you would appreciate the activities they have in store for you. There are numerous memorabilia available in the area so prepare your wallets. Parking is not a problem as there are numerous slots available. Moreover, you would also get a clear overlooking of Metro Manila from here!
