Tubbing into the cave
Tham Nam is known for being one of Vang Vieng's most prominent and beautiful caves. The cave's interior chamber stretches over 500 meters, and a small branch of the Nam Song River runs through it.
You can tube into the cave if you visit during the rainy season, but the water levels are normally too low to do so during the dry season. You can see stalagmites and stalactites, rock crystals, and cave dwelling creatures as you walk around the cave.

Just had an amazing day with Riverside tour company. We went to this cave in a group tour and had lunch at the caves. I can say that those places worth the travel. You can easily do them by bicycle. So take one day off and enjoy. I would recommend doing the caves first, as they are quick. And you can rest the rest of the day at the lagoon. Just be sure because there are many blue lagoons in Vang Vieng

Overview of Vang Vieng
Vang Vieng is known for its stunning natural beauty, vibrant nightlife, and laid-back atmosphere. Historically a quiet village, it gained prominence as a backpacker haven in the late 20th century. Despite a period of notoriety for its raucous party scene, the town has transformed in recent years, focusing more on outdoor activities and sustainable tourism.
Water Sports in Vang Vieng
1. Tubing
Tubing down the Nam Song River is one of the most iconic activities in Vang Vieng. Visitors float down the river on large inner tubes, enjoying the scenic views of the limestone cliffs and lush greenery. Along the way, there are numerous riverside bars where tubers can stop for drinks and socializing. The tubing experience ranges from relaxing to lively, depending on the individual's preference.
2. Kayaking
