Great View from Harukas
#weekendgetaways
Let me share the amazing view from the toilet in of the tallest building in Japan. It is Abeno Harukas standing 300 metres tall since 2014. It holds the title of the tallest skyscraper until 2023.
It has department store, an art museum, a hotel, a garden and an observation deck. Observation deck is from floor 58-60. You will get the 360 degree views of Osaka on 60th floor, while the 58th floor gives an equally beautiful scenery from a wooden deck and cafe. You will also can shop from the souvenir shop and enjoy restrooms with stunning views

The Tall Handsome Abeno Harukas
#citywalk
Osaka was wayyy too hot when we visited on early September. the celcius clocked at 34c in the morning but we embraced the weather anyway.
We then headed to the city, hopping from one metro to another train to reach to our destinations. anyway that day we decided to scale the tall Abeno Harukas under the scorching sun.
We walked from our stay which is around 25minutes walk.

Harukus 300
HARUKAS 300 Observatory is located in the ABENO HARUKAS building, which was once the tallest building in Japan. Situated in the heart of Osaka, in the Tennoji area, the building stands at a height of 300 meters. It became the tallest building in Osaka and Japan since 2014. Naturally, HARUKAS 300 became the highest observation deck in Japan at that time. Currently, it is the second tallest building after the Azabudai Hills Mori JP Tower, which opened in 2023. The observation deck shown in the picture is on the 60th floor, welcoming visitors who take the elevator from the ticketing floor (16th floor). This floor serves as a connection to other floors, including the 59th and 58th floors, as well as the rooftop area, which features the EDGE THE HARUKAS activity for edge-of-the-building viewing and the HARUKAS 300 Heliport Tour for helicopter pad viewing.

I visited the Harukas 300 Observatory in Osaka, and it was an unforgettable experience! 🌟 Located in the tallest building in the city, it offers stunning panoramic views of Osaka and the surrounding areas. From above, you can see the entire city spread out beneath you, and the night view is mesmerizing with its twinkling lights. 🌆 I also enjoyed a dining experience at one of the Burj restaurants, where the food was delicious and the service was excellent. 🍽️ The site also offers great opportunities for shopping and photography. Abeno Harukas 300 in Osaka
The views from the 300m observatory were definitely impressive. Having a snack at the Cafe, particularly in the open air area was a unique experience. But as with other viewing towers we have been to, there isn't much benefit to repeating the visit. There were other towers which provided a better perspective in terms of information on the surrounding area. This wasn't the case for the Harukas. In any case, still good just to go to experience once.
In 2024, I want to visit Osaka again.
