I stayed in a full sea view studio suite before, and the curved sea view was amazing. This time I used a coupon to experience the 8k per night sea view suite. The quality is great, but I still prefer the studio suite.

The sea view suite is over 130 sqm, with a strong Southeast Asian style. The details in the living room and bedroom are great. The most eye-catching is the huge sofa group in the living room, which is great for taking photos or playing.

My First Experience at Andaz Shenzhen Bay
1. Overall Impression and Transportation
I had a great experience at Andaz Shenzhen Bay. I took a Hong Kong–Guangdong bus from Hong Kong to Shenzhen Bay Port, and it took less than an hour to reach Nanshan. The hotel is only a 5-minute drive from the port. Even if I came here every weekend, I wouldn't feel tired. The transportation is very convenient.
2. Room Experience
The hotel is quite new, and both the hardware and software are excellent. I stayed in a Deluxe City View King Room, which looked exactly like the photos on the official website. I could clearly see Shenzhen Talent Park and the stadium from the room. The view was amazing. The room was also well soundproofed. There was a Richie Jen concert downstairs during my stay, but there was almost no noise in the room, so I could rest quietly. This was really great.
3. Hotel Facilities
The hotel has all the necessary facilities. The gym and changing room are particularly worth mentioning. The gym is quite large for a hotel, and there aren't many people there. It's very comfortable to work out there occasionally.
The changing room is larger than those in most hotels. It has a bath and a place to "sunbathe." There isn't actually any sun, but there are beach chairs where you can sit and read or rest. It's very relaxing.
4. Areas for Improvement
I think the design of the main entrance and lobby is a little lacking in grandeur. If there are three groups of guests checking in at the same time, the lobby will feel crowded, and there will be no privacy. The area for getting food during cocktail hour is also small, and you have to pass the restroom to get food, which is a little inconvenient. I hope the lobby will be more spacious in the future, which will make the overall experience even better.

The hotel's location is unbeatable. It's next to Shenzhen Bay MixC, so it's very convenient for shopping and entertainment. . Breakfast is served on the 6th floor. It's semi-buffet style. You can help yourself or order from the menu. The eggs benedict is pretty good. The pancakes are a bit hard. The fruit is very fresh. I went at around 8am on the first day and there weren't many people. There were more people at 9am on the second day, but it still felt quite relaxed and not too crowded.

. The service is friendly and welcoming. When you check in, a staff member will help you take your luggage to your room and thoughtfully put your suitcase in the cloakroom. This is much better than just leaving it at the door.
. Before I checked in, the front desk reminded me several times that there was construction work nearby and it might be a bit noisy. But the soundproofing was actually quite good. I stayed on the 21st floor and I couldn't hear any noise from downstairs.
. On the second day of my stay, the hotel was cleaning the exterior windows. They left several ropes hanging down. That night, Typhoon Chanthu came and the ropes kept hitting the exterior of the building. It was so noisy I couldn't sleep. I called the guest service center and they resolved the issue within 10 minutes. They were very efficient.
. The hotel staff are all very professional. Whether it's the front desk, the lounge bar, the restaurant, or the gym and pool staff, they're all very patient and friendly. They're happy to answer any questions and introduce the hotel's facilities. Even the housekeeping staff are very enthusiastic. I said I really liked the toiletry bag and they gave me two more. Overall, I was very impressed.
📝Overall, I had a good experience. It was very relaxing. In a busy city, you really need a space to recharge and refresh your mind. Even if I don't stay at the hotel next time, I can go for afternoon tea on the first floor or have a meal on the sixth floor. It's worth it.

By far the best salad I’ve ever had!! This restaurant has top notch food, everything was perfection! From the beautiful warm crunchy bread to the dessert, wine and the gorgeous view from the balcony was utter perfection. My compliments to the chef who cooked our food. Those who are familiar with Ji Yutang know that his design can only establish a connection with the city after spending enough time, and then complete all his creative ideas; Ji, with his multicultural background, serves as a bridge between the East and the West, where cultures and thoughts collide and embrace each other, finding a way to integrate with the times.
Just now, I was freely navigating between skyscrapers, then drove into a shaded path, and after turning a corner, it became much quieter. The meticulously trimmed green hedges form a verdant wall surrounding the drop-off courtyard, too high to see over, and between the gray-white stones, the hotel's doors are already open to welcome guests.
The pristine high porch, the teal blue louvers, the layered frangipani, I hand over my luggage to the concierge, pass through the secret glass door divided by metal, Ji Yutang uses a vestibule to filter out the dust and noise from outside, outlining a tranquil space with green plants, a couch, and Chinese scrolls on the walls. Unknowingly turning into it, the space suddenly opens up; this is an irreplaceable Southeast Asian mansion hidden in the heart of Shenzhen, a great retreat within the city.
Passing through two sets of doors and windows, the interior space becomes even more expansive, instantly enlightening the visitor. The extended ancient-style wallpaper fills the air with the fragrance of ancient ink and enriches the spatial layers; the herringbone grid of the marble floor crisscrosses, the sofa presided over by a glass screen, surrounded by Ji Yutang's signature tiered interactive front desk, also chose the auspicious Chinese red for its color; the front desk attendant brings a welcome tea break, greeting me with a kneeling service, which is unprecedented in other Andaz branches I have visited.
Holding the room card, I turn and walk through the Celebrity Corridor, an essential path to the guest room elevators; the oil portraits hanging on the walls of the Celebrity Corridor are all pioneers who dedicated themselves to the country during the golden age of the last century. Shenzhen, this young city, has also written the miracle of the Greater Bay Area; Andaz Shenzhen Bay is not just a hotel with a pretty design that's popular online, but also a microcosm representing the city's development from a small fishing village to the bustling metropolis it is today over thirty years.

The Andaz panoramic room in Shenzhen is truly beautiful at dusk, and I almost always stay at the Andaz when I come to Shenzhen
Just a walk downstairs is the MixC shopping mall, which is very convenient for shopping.

So far, I think the hotel's panoramic room has the best view, with a broad vista, priced at 3000+ per night. There was some construction going on below for a while, which can be quite noisy, but other than that, it's pretty good~
Every time I stay at the hotel, they give a bottle of red wine, as well as chocolate cake and fruit, which is also full of a sense of ceremony~

Ranked among the top hotels in Shenzhen, it occupies an excellent geographical location, adjacent to Shenzhen Bay MixC and China Resources. The view outside the window includes Shenzhen Bay and Talent Park, and the transportation is also very convenient.
I have a preference for the Hyatt chain, stemming from the Hyatt Membership Center's emphasis on Globalist members. The neighboring Marriott has been increasingly disappointing, with the service quality for Titanium members also declining. Perhaps Marriott really struggles to manage the many branded and franchised hotel owners. In contrast, Hyatt ensures a level of service quality, so if the budget allows, the Andaz Shenzhen Bay Hotel is worth experiencing.
