💖Overview of attractions
✔️Ankara Tower, a landmark building in Ankara, Turkey. There is a 360-degree panoramic revolving restaurant and a cinema at the top of the tower, where visitors can enjoy the beautiful scenery and spectacular views of the entire city.
✔️The Mausoleum of the Founding Fathers of Turkey is located on a hill about 2 kilometers away from the center of Ankara. Mustafa Kemal, the founder and first president of the Republic of Turkey, is buried here. In addition, Kemal’s former friend and second president are buried here. A monument to Ismail Teinonu, President of the Republic of Turkey, and a museum introducing Kemal’s life experiences. The Inonu Peace Monument opposite the main courtyard is simple and majestic in style, guarded by tall guards.
✔️Dolmabahce Palace, located in the New City of Istanbul, is also commonly known as the New Palace of the Ottoman Empire. The palace is tall, broad and majestic, with a 600-meter-long wall. The interior walls are covered with gold foil, and the main body is made of white marble and Egyptian alabaster. The palace is mainly composed of two parts, namely the Ceremonial Palace (Selamlık) and the Harem and the Concubine Court (Haremlik). It has a total of 285 rooms, 43 halls and 6 Turkish baths. It is a magnificent masterpiece.
✔️Prince’s Island was once a place where princes were exiled by the Byzantine dynasty, but now it has become the territory of the wealthy. The beautiful beaches and shady green trees attract both locals and foreign tourists. Choosing the right time to travel to the Princes Islands is very important. If you go on weekends or during summer holidays for locals, you will see a lively scene like going to a market. But if you go there during non-holidays, the town will be as peaceful as a paradise, completely different from the hustle and bustle of Istanbul.
✔️Hagia Sophia, this is a historical building in Türkiye and one of the symbols of Türkiye. The exterior of Hagia Sophia is a typical mosque dome and minaret. There is a purification pavilion (for mosques) in front of the church, and several stone pillars with carved patterns on the top stand next to it. The large and small partition windows and low-hanging chandeliers in the church maintain the light in the hall, and the exquisite chandeliers bring a warm atmosphere to the hall, and the tall dome gives people a sense of awe. The dome retains Byzantine murals and is very colorful.
☀️Starting from Ankara, passing through Eskisehir, Bursa, and finally arriving in Istanbul, this is a self-driving route full of humanistic atmosphere, and every stop is a witness to history.

Ankara Castle
Ankara Castle is one of the places to see in Ankara. It has a nice view of the city that you can see most of the central places around. The castle has many souvenir shops and traditional Ankara houses inside. All was restored thanks to Altindag municipality. There are also cafes and restaurants inside the castle. When the castle was made is not known exactly. There aren't armors around the walls which means that you must be very careful while you are at the upper part. The historic neighborhood within the old walls can be divided into two parts. One where money has been pumped in to restore the historic buildings and draw tourists. This area is centred on the road between the main gate and the citadel. The rest of this neighborhood is quite poor but oozes a authentic historic charm. Its well worth a visit if you're into these sorts of things 🌟⛅️🏰🌼 #solstice #urbanexplorer #summervacation #hikingtrails #historicculture

Compared with other cities, the city's travelers, as the capital of Ankara, like the town, faded out of people's horizons, only the "explosion" makes people think of it by chance.
Ankara Fort is not so much an attraction, it is better to be a place for people around to take a leisurely walk, not the same quiet.
There are no tourists in the town, most of them are locals, there are a group of children who play and feel very happy.

Ankara, a hidden gem.
As the capital of Turkey, Ankara is less bustling than Istanbul, but it has its own unique charm.
Here, history and modernity intertwine. Ankara Castle is like a majestic old man, telling stories of the past. Standing on the castle, you can enjoy a panoramic view of the city. 🛕
The Anıtkabir is solemn and majestic, commemorating the hero of Turkey. The exquisite architecture and tranquil atmosphere make people feel respectful.
Modern Ankara is also full of vitality. There are many unique shops in the streets and alleys, where you can find many exquisite handicrafts. And the delicious Turkish food, the aroma of barbecue, and the sweet desserts will make you feel sweet. 🍖
Ankara is a place waiting for you to explore and discover, and you may be surprised at every step!

Turkey, the paradise of the world, you will regret if you miss it!
"🌍Turkey, this place known as the "paradise of the world", has deeply attracted me with its rich exotic customs, rich historical charm, and brilliant natural scenery during the ten days of getting along with it. This stay and taste made me deeply feel the unique charm of every corner. With an average cost of only 16,000 per person, I doubt, what reason is there not to be moved by it? 😌

Information you must know before coming to Ankara, Turkey~ It will help you understand this capital city better
Revisiting the old site of Ankara Castle~ The last time I came was almost ten years ago in the hot summer, this time it's in the cold winter. The castle is located on the hill of the old city, a very suitable place for strolling~ Watching the golden sunset light spill over the red roofs of the whole city~ So comfortable!
On the way to the top of the castle, there are many Turkish-style shops, as well as cafes, restaurants and small inns, as well as well-preserved thick city walls and charming winding streets... Ankara Castle was built by the ancient Romans in the 2nd century BC, standing on the commanding heights of the city's slopes~ for military defense.
The roads here are complex, and the ruins are full of historical vicissitudes~ Because it is located in a strategic location, this castle has been baptized by war, and has been occupied by the Eastern Romans, Persians, and Arabs~ Therefore, there are not many ancient buildings left, so there is no need for tickets here, walk around, look at the scenery, have a cup of coffee~ So comfortable
Coming down from the castle hill~ I passed by the Melike Hatun Mosque opposite Ankara Youth Park. Although it is not as grand as Ankara's Kocatepe Mosque, nor as long-standing as Haci Bayram Mosque~ But this is my unexpected gain for letting myself wander aimlessly without looking at the map on the way down the mountain, plus the blessing of the sunset glow~ It's really touching!

Ankara Castle – the unexpected gem that stole my heart during my 2023 trip to Turkey! 🏰💖 No entrance fee – a delightful surprise, making it a must-visit spot.
The castle sits atop a hill, offering panoramic views of Ankara. Climbing up might be a bit of a workout, but trust me, the view is worth every step. 🌆⛰️
Wandering through the castle's ancient walls feels like stepping back in time. The cobbled pathways, historic structures, and the sense of history lingering in the air – pure magic. 🕰️✨
The Ethnography Museum inside the castle is a treasure trove of artifacts, showcasing the rich cultural heritage of Turkey. Each exhibit feels like a glimpse into the country's vibrant past. 🏺🇹🇷
The courtyard, with its charming cafes and souvenir shops, is the perfect spot to take a breather and soak in the atmosphere. Turkish tea with a view? Yes, please! ☕🌹
I was lucky to visit during a live music performance at the castle – the acoustics within those ancient walls added a magical touch to the evening. 🎶🌙
Adjacent to the castle is the Ataturk Mausoleum – a monumental tribute to the founding father of modern Turkey. A sobering yet awe-inspiring experience. 🇹🇷🏛️
The nearby Old Town (Ulus) is a bustling area with more historical sites, vibrant markets, and local eateries. Don't miss the chance to try authentic Turkish cuisine! 🍽️🌍
Pro tip: Visit the castle during sunset – the warm hues cast over Ankara create a breathtaking backdrop. Perfect for the Instagram feed! 🌅📸

TAC You To Travel
Take you on a romantic trip to Turkey- Ankara.
Another free trip abroad, flying from Shanghai to Beijing, then from Beijing to Istanbul, spending a day in Istanbul and then flying directly to Ankara early in the morning.
Ankara is an ancient city with a long history and many famous historical sites. We only had one day in Ankara, so we visited two famous attractions: Ankara Castle and the Mausoleum of the founder of modern Turkey.
Ankara Castle has ancient walls, cobblestone alleys, world-renowned museums, talented street performers. All of these are worth a visit in the castle.
The Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk (May 19, 1881 - November 10, 1938), the founding father of the Republic of Turkey, is located in Ankara, the capital of Turkey, and was built in 1953. When I went there, I happened to see the changing of the guard ceremony. There were quite a few tourists visiting the Mausoleum of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk.

Valuable archaeological artifacts at the Elimtan Museum of Art
This art museum opened in 2015 right next to Ankara Castle. Although it is not large, it has a rich collection of glass and ceramic artifacts, as well as coins, making it a different attraction from the large Anatolian Civilizations Museum next door. It also has a cafe and shop, and the toilets are wonderfully modern.

Ankara Fortress occupies the commanding heights of Ankara and overlooks the entire city of Ankara. It is also the back garden that local residents like.
I met a group of middle school students who were looking for me to take photos. I was shocked when I learned that they were only 17 years old. It seems that there are more than 30 bars
, but there is a child who is far forward and very cute. Sure enough, this is a good place to look at Ankara.
