Tokyo Suburban Attraction: Arakurayama Sengen Park! A Stunning Viewpoint of Mount Fuji!
Arakurayama Sengen Park is located halfway up Arakurayama and is just a 1.5-hour drive from Tokyo! This park is one of the popular spots to view Mount Fuji, and the revered Fuji Sengen Shrine is also located here! Before entering the shrine, you must cleanse your hands at the shrine's entrance! This shrine is unique, with a design that feels very sacred, and on clear days, you can see Mount Fuji! Unfortunately, we couldn't see the entire Mount Fuji this time, but we could still see its peak! Additionally, the five-storied pagoda is another must-visit spot, rich in traditional Buddhist culture and housing the remains of high monks! The pagoda is primarily red, with the stunning backdrop of Mount Fuji right next to it, creating a breathtaking view!

Arakura Fuji Sengen Shrine
Although we were unable to have the mt fuji view but overall this is still a worth place to visit. Short hike to see the five-storied pagoda at the top along the way. One bonus! We were able to see the autumn leaves during the spring season!’

The park begins at the base of Mount Arakurayama and extends up the mountain. To get to the top of the mountain, you need to climb a flight of 398 steps hike to the observation deck. You can walk using the path way too.
The observation deck looks out over the cityscape of Fujiyoshida City and the majestic Mount Fuji towering above. But if the sky is cloudy, you can see Mount Fuji.
To reach there, got to head to Taka Station in the far west of Tokyo and take the 40 minute Chuo Line train to Otsuki. Then ride the Fuji Kyuko Line and you can be able to reach Arakura Sengen Shrine in 10 minutes on foot. The pagoda is a further five to ten minutes climb up the hill.
I wish to go Spain!
