🪷 Lotus like Structure in Singapore 🇸🇬
ArtScience Museum is one of the famous attractions in Singapore because of its world-class structure, which is similar to a Lotus flower. It also showcases multiple exhibitions filled with art, culture, and technology that are suitable for all ages. I love the fact that it is surrounded by a pool of waterlily plants, which is photo worthy. It is located within Marina Bay Sands Complex, which is approximately 16 minutes walk from the Esplanade. Artscience museum in Singapore 🇸🇬
🗓️ October, 2023
While wandering the enchanting surroundings of Marina Sands Bay in Singapore, I chanced upon the captivating ArtScience Museum.
Positioned in close proximity to both Gardens by the Bay and the iconic Sands Hotel, this museum's distinctive and unconventional architectural design caught my eye.
Its unique shape, resembling an outstretched hand or perhaps a lotus flower, adds an artistic flair to the city's skyline.
Regrettably, due to time constraints, I couldn't venture inside to explore its exhibitions, as each required separate admission.

Lotus Pond in Singapore?!
#singapore
Where to find such lotus pond in Singapore other than flying to Vietnam or our Botanical gardens and Gardens by the Bay BUT is free of charge ?
The answer is: THE LOTUS POND outside Art Science Museum near Marina Bay Sands The shoppes. Really takes abit to skills to take such portraits photo, I will recommend to get a x3 zoom shot in portrait mode to give a vibe that you are surrounded by the Lotus. The location to get a perfect shot will be near the miracle coffee mirror areas.

FutureWorldASM 2023
#mysgmemories
It’s been years since I went to #FutureWorldASM a TeamLab exhibition at ArtScience Museum. The exhibition is a permanent exhibition since 2016 with 17 different instillation and has recently revamped and changed some of the instillation which was why I decided to visit again.
The TeamLab exhibition is known for its projections and interactive instillation that’s suitable for all ages.
You can even upload your own artworks onto their wall! (I drew a trip.com plane hehe)
While most of the instillations are permanent, some of the graphics such as the flowers changes with the season of the year.
If you haven’t been to a TeamLab exhibition be sure to visit the one at ASM!

🏛 Getting Inspired at the ArtScience Museum
I came back from our Singapore trip all refreshed and inspired, and the ArtScience Museum was one of the top reason why! If you're looking to be inspired just as me, be sure to head down to the museum! There were a lot of exhibitions, but the must-visit for me was TeamLab's Future World.
I spent at least 2.5 hours going through the exhibition - alone! Yes, you can spend your time alone there and have the time of your life.
The best part about it was the Crystal Universe (remember to login to the website stated on the wall to interact with the crystals!) and the Aquarium! I saw my tophat octopus came to life!
TIP! You can enter the exhibition anytime you want, you don't have to enter at the time slot you chose! And if you want to enter multiple times throughout the day, you can too! Just be sure to show your ticket and you're done!
It was fun even for a 30 year old like me. But if you're a little tight in the pocket, do still come! The beautiful architecture and surrounding is still not to be missed, and is part of Singapore's best views!

A day at The ArtScience Museum
#singapore
The ArtScience Museum is located within the integrated resort of Marina Bay Sands, and is easily recognisable from afar thanks to its iconic architecture. Designed to remind one of the lotus flower, the museum's building has been coined as the "welcoming hand of Singapore"!
There are several permanent exhibitions, while special exhibitions by visiting artists are frequently featured as well. Currently, the ArtScience museum is running 4 exhibitions, and 2 of them are VR (virtual reality) experiences! It also screens films.
I checked out the Future World: Where Art Meets Science, and what a spectactular journey it was! The exhibits were quirky but attractive, and whimsical yet highly educational! They really made me think of the impact science and technology have on the future of the world we live in. Very sobering thought.
I highly recommend a visit to the museum, and it's highly accessible as well! Nearest MRT station is Bayfront MRT. The museum caters to everyone, and is great for families and friends.

Mental Health Colours
Address: Arts Science Museum Singapore
Highlights: Open till 28 Feb 2023
Rating: 4/5
Visited the mental health colours exhibition over the weekend at the Singapore Arts Science Museum location at Marina Bay Sands. The exhibition is only until end of February 2023 so so hurry if you wanna catch it. I would recommend spending about 2hrs there to have sufficient time to see all the various exhibits, many of which are quite interesting. Go on a weekday if possible to avoid the weekend crowd as you will have to queue to try out the interactive exhibits if there’s a crowd. I think mental health is a topic of growing interest in the social context of Singapore especially after the pandemic where we realised how vulnerable our local population is. Good to visit with an open mind, and with somebody to discuss the ideas brought forth by the exhibits together. There’s an entrance fee, check it out on the official website.

Museum of lights for both kids and adults
This is my favourite museum in Singapore. It’s located outside the Shoppes at MBS, making it a convenient day trip for the whole family.
Attraction highlight - we visited the Future World Exhibition and it took us around 2.5 hours here. There are many activities for kids, including the colouring and the aerial climbing.
Though it is crowded, there are many sections for people to participate so it is never crowded at any point of exhibition.

Trip to ArtScience Museum was incredible! I learnt so much solely from the Buckminster Fuller exhibition! His contributions and inventions were well exhibited, it was really impressive! Moreover, I even had the opportunity to go for Attack of Titans exhibition! It was awesome! Upon entering, I thought I was living behind the wall! It was great and I really enjoyed myself! Kudos to ArtScience Museum and the organiser! #artsciencemuseum

To all the Attack on Titans fans out there, I’ll bet you guys would’ve enjoyed this AOT exhibition as much as I do~ I was enjoying too much that I have forgotten to take as much photos as I would’ve wanted to. This exhibition has allowed me to understand more about how the author’s process of thoughts went when he was writing the storyline of the manga. They even showed snippets of the preview of the next season~ Also, there was a statue if Colossus Titan!

Where There Is Darkness Comes Light
#meetsingapore
I'm always curious about what a destination features in its museums. Singapore's ArtScience Museum gave me a glimpse of one of the things Singapore excels at, the architecture and lights. I walked into a fascinating building and descended to the museum. Some rooms were dark as the exhibits made use of lights. Here, art meets science, hence the name. I enjoyed the spacious room where flowers and butterflies of varying colors were projected into the walls. I look around and toddlers are enjoying the display too. The museum is a short walk from other attractions so the fun doesn't stop once you've explored everything inside.

A stirring exhibition that goes beyond
Battling with instinct, emotional responses, and taught ethics, the questions Patricia Piccinini throws out with her creations is deeply moving. Her open-mind inquisition shows more of what connects us than what sets us apart, and finds commonality in universal experiences that we all face in one way or another. Take time to really look into the expressions and body language and enjoy the exhibition and its many stories. #artsciencemuseum #art #singapore

Art with a view!
The Area: Marina Bay Sands
Venue: Artscience Museum Singapore
Exhibition: Patricia Piccinini: We Are Connected

Located just by the corner of the Marina Bay Sands is this amazing gem : Artscience Museum.
Other than the amazing view of the Singapore skyline you can get, it also houses several exhibitions from time to time.
Featured in this post:
The Patricia Piccinini: We Are Connected exhibition gives us a glimpse of what the artist envisions the world will be like as we adapt to our environment which to the artist feels we have been destroying. Her exhibitions include several life-liked sculptures, interactive activities and aural explanations!
It is interesting even if you are not a hardcore environmentalist !
Tip: Bundle Tickets to multiple exhibitions are cheaper !

Hermes couture museum
A visit to the ArtScience Museum located at the Marina Bay Area is always an eye-opening and educational experience. My husband and I went to check out the Hermes couture exhibition, which showcased the different fabrics and materials used in creating their iconic bags and fashion.
There were also the actual craftsmen working for Hermes on site to demonstrate and explain their thought processes behind creating these masterpieces. Across so many sections of the exhibition space, they were all designed in such an aesthetically unique way, very interesting!
My overall rating of the experience: 5 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Legend of the Titanic
It is really convenient to travel to the ArtScience Museum located at the Marina Bay Area. You can take the MRT train and alight at Bayfront Station via the Circle Line, take a bus and alight at the Marina Bay Sands Theatre bus stop or drive there (plenty of lots).
Our most memorable exhibition that we visited was the legend of the Titanic, where we got to see an actual life-size replica of the ship entrance, the first class bedrooms and the third class bedrooms. We also got to see actual artefacts that were salvaged from the sunken shipwreck, super interesting!
My overall rating of the experience: 4 out of 5 stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

A fun interactive museum for adults and kids
#sginsider
The permanent exhibition is really fun! Annoyingly some of the instructions are at the end of the exhibition, especially on the first one:
Poke the butterflys on the walls and see what happens. Stand still on front of the waterfall and see what the water does. What happens if you touch the waterfall?
We loved the live drawings of fish and town/space things. Be sure to make your pictures standout!
My favourite one of all is the last exhibition-with all the colourful lights . Walking through it is an interesting experience as it feels as if it is from some futuristic movie.
Hope to have more lighting installment in this museum.
