I was on the lookout for Labubu at the Pop Mart store and was excited to check out the launch of Huawei's new Mate XT phone. This mall, owned by Capital Land Singapore, shares the same name as Raffles City in Singapore, but the atmosphere and selection of brands here are truly impressive. The mall also has a big outdoor at the back with the nice view of Chongqing City Skyline. Raffles City Chongqing is an iconic architectural complex located at the confluence of the Yangtze and Jialing Rivers in Chongqing, China. #travelanywhere During one of the nights of our family holiday trip in Chongqing China, we went in to the shopping mall of Raffles City Chongqing to escape from the scorching heat. It was very cool inside. The shopping mall was quite huge with a great variety of stalls. What attracted me the most was this retro looking stall selling sweets and titbits from childhood.

#travelanywhere I didn't get to stay in Ascott Raffles City Chongqing Hotel when my family and I were in Chongqing China for a holiday. Nevertheless, I wanted to come here to visit and take photos of it because of the resemblance to Marina Bay Sands of Singapore. Similar to Marina Bay Sands Singapore, this hotel looks so spectacular at night with its transforming bright lights.

So you wanna travel to one of the hottest destinations in China and snap awesome pictures (yes, literally, the weather is extremely hot), but you’re on a budget? worry no more! I got your back there’s always a way to see all of this on a dime how? take the metro to Chaotianmen. exit gate 6 into a shopping mall and take the elevator up to the 12th floor. once there, exit the building into the terrace and take the right to the Chongqing Raffles City viewpoint. Voilá. Enjoy a beautiful scenery on a dime!
