6 Must-Try Culinary Delights in Hong Kong
Sharing the highlights of a Hong Kong food journey!
From popular spots with long lines to authentic local eateries, here are some truly delicious places I visited 🍴✨
🥟 Dim Sum Here (photo 1)
📍Location: Shop 6–8, G/F, Wah Chi Mansion, 286–298 Temple Street, Jordan / Yau Ma Tei, Hong Kong
Adorable face-shaped buns, soup dumplings, and crispy shrimp siu mai are absolutely divine! It’s a popular spot, so there’s a bit of a wait, but the flavors are worth it.
🥯 Kowloon Restaurant (Tsim Sha Tsui) (photo 2~4)
📍Location: Shop A & B, Ground Floor, Lokville Commercial Building, 27 Lock Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
Here, I tried the pineapple bun and egg tart. The pineapple bun was crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and very filling! The egg tart had a rich egg flavor with a gentle sweetness—simply perfect.
🍜 Mak’s Noodle (photo 5)
📍Location: (Main Branch/Central): G/F, 77 Wellington Street, Central, Hong Kong
My personal favorite! The wonton noodles with plump shrimp wontons were incredibly delicious. The unique chewy texture of Hong Kong-style noodles is addictive✨. It’s affordable and easy to finish in one go. Highly recommended! There’s also a branch in K11, so be sure to check it out 🥰
🥧 Bakehouse (photo 6~7)
📍Location: (Tsim Sha Tsui branch/Takeaway only): G/F, 44 Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
This is a must-visit in Hong Kong! A classic spot with long lines. The custard egg tart is rich and melts in your mouth. It was so good that I used my leftover cash to buy more and shared them with friends on the plane 🤣💕. Be prepared for morning queues if you plan to visit!
🥟 Log Ye Dim Sum (Tsim Sha Tsui) (photo 8~9)
📍Location: Shop C, G/F, Hanyee Building, 19–21 Hankow Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
Open late into the night, making it a convenient spot for post-sightseeing meals. I liked it so much that I visited twice! The fluffy buns were particularly impressive, and the dim sum flavors were reliable. A place I can confidently recommend.
🧋 HEYTEA (Tsim Sha Tsui, K11 Art Mall) (photo 10~11)
📍Location: Shop G32–G33, G/F, K11 Art Mall, 18 Hanoi Road, Tsim Sha Tsui, Hong Kong
The drink made with fresh grapes and crushed ice was visually stunning and had a refreshing sweetness. My friend’s milk tea was rich yet smooth and elegant in taste. Its convenient location makes it a great stop during shopping.
✈️ Every dish in Hong Kong left a lasting impression, and I can’t wait to go back for more. Definitely planning to revisit these spots on my next trip to Hong Kong 🇭🇰✨
