Sometimes, it runs out of food. We went to the Tsim Sha Tsui branch at 11:30 am. There were about 10 people in line. We were very lucky. In the afternoon, there are more people. The shop runs quite fast. They also accept cash. The star of the shop is the egg tart. It costs HKD 12.5 per piece. I recommend eating it while it is hot. It is very delicious. There is also a cafe. This is a Hong Kong gem. I tried the egg tarts, donuts, pies, and dough. Everything was so delicious and flavorful. I have to say this place is famous for a reason and now I know why.🥧 🏬Facilities: It is a small corner shop with a brick design that offers all kinds of baking delicacies. This will averagely cost you around 100 Hong Kong dollars. 🌟Important information: The egg tart comes on a box of 6 only. Their price is 79 HK dollars. Do not worry if they run out in the morning. It is the home of this very sumptuous egg tart (the best i've ever tasted i must say)... 💕 Eggy, sweet, toast to perfection, not too flaky, almost like a cheesecake consistency and it melts in your mouth. A bit pricey, but its worth it. Not to mention the long que (without exaggeration, had to line up for a few minutes... it moves fast anyways)... The best seller is the EGG TART!!! Although all the breads displayed on their window looks really yummy. Different kinds of breads, sourdough, doughnuts, cookies, pretzels, etc.. etc... name it, they have it! They have house brewed coffee available and soft ice cream too. If anyone wants to try the popular Sourdough Egg Tart, I recommend coming in the morning because it sells out very quickly. In conclusion, this time we didn't try the legendary egg tart because it was sold out. But their other desserts are very diverse. Everything looks delicious. Personally, I like their donut menu 🍩 The dough is good and soft, like eating a cake mixed with donuts. The custard cream filling is sweet and fragrant, very delicious.

Bakehouse is a very familiar name in Hong kong. They have several outlets. I do the one in Wan Chai which tends to be the closest to me. One of my favourite spots in wanchai. Bakehouse does some excellent bakes and breakfast items. It's probably easier to eat in than to get a takeaway. But both require waiting. Although once you get your hands on their bakes, it's all worth it. Most recently I tried the sourdough egg tart and i thought it was brilliant, it just melts in your mouth..the baked goods were flaky and buttery, the fresh ones were especially enjoyable. the sausage roll would have been better if it was heated but that's okay. These heavenly egg tarts are baked freshly daily. Crispy, flaky, with a nice egg custard - these egg tarts are delicious. Apart from that, their pastries are expensive but worth every penny. Be wowed by the variety of pastries in store and everything looks so attractive. I bought an extra strawberry Danish and a vanilla bean donut, they were just amazing in taste and texture. A box of their sourdough egg tarts aren't enough as you can easily finish it in 1 go. Highly recommend this bakery!

#wheretogo if you are visiting Hong Kong, one place to go would be the bake house cafe! they have an outlet at Tsim sha Tsui and the queue is super long, but do not be intimidated by it! it’s quite fast moving and there’s only takeaway services available. I ordered one vanilla donut which was filled with lots of vanilla cream and super rich. the egg tart is however the best I’ve ever had! the skin tart was crispy and just super fragrant and delicious. will recommend queueing for it! however do note that if you are too late, they might be sold out.
