Not abroad, but a seriously underrated treasure city in Jiangsu
So far this year,
my favorite small city has appeared!
🌳The lush bamboo sea on the mountains,
not losing to the Maldives' Tianmu Lake,
Fang Suo Cultural Village where modernity and tradition collide,
these are all reasons worth visiting multiple times.
I have organized a 2-day, 1-night travel guide for everyone, highly recommend saving it‼
🍃【Liyang 2-Day 1-Night Travel Route】
𝐃𝐚𝐲𝟏: Liyang Museum ➠ Bao'en Zen Temple ➠ Tianmu Lake ➠ Fang Suo Cultural Village ➠ Tianmu Lake Shitang No. 37 Starry Sky Pool Villa
𝐃𝐚𝐲𝟐: Walden Bookstore ➠ Liyang No. 1 Highway ➠ Nanshan Bamboo Sea ➠ Return
🍃【5 Must-Visit Spots in Liyang】
❶ Nanshan Bamboo Sea 🎋
Take a small train through the vast bamboo sea, as if you've been transported into a Miyazaki film. The entire scenic area is huge, and you can also see cute animals like pandas and flamingos 🐼
❷ Tianmu Lake · Liyang 💎
Who would believe it! Liyang actually has two 5A-level scenic spots, one of which is Tianmu Lake, like a blue gem left by God. The water quality is not inferior to the Maldives 🌊
❸ Liyang Museum 🚀
From the outside, it looks like an alien spaceship. Here you can learn about Liyang's past and present. The exhibition hall also has a rich variety of exhibits, such as bronze ceramics, calligraphy, stone tools, etc. 👀
❹ Fang Suo Cultural Village 🏘
A Chinese-style village built with culture as its concept, perfectly blending modernity and tradition, showcasing the unique aesthetics of the Jiangnan water town. It's super beautiful and photogenic when the blue lights are on 📷
❺ Bao'en Zen Temple 🛕
It's been asked about like crazy! Really didn't go to Southeast Asia! The entire temple is in Southeast Asian style, resplendent and magnificent, super shocking 😲
🍃【About Accommodation】
For this trip to Liyang, I chose 【Tianmu Lake Shitang No. 37 Starry Sky Pool Villa】. With a large lawn, swimming pool, and garden, this homestay located in the mountains perfectly integrates with the local natural environment. Each room has a small courtyard, incredibly comfortable~ In addition, the second phase of the homestay has a super large more fun farm, where you can play with little sheep and donkeys during the day, make pizza by hand, and watch bonfire performances in the evening. The experience is amazing 👏
🍃【Food Guide】
The few meals I had in Liyang were all at Mutang Summer next to the homestay. The ingredients were particularly fresh, and the owner was super enthusiastic! Recommended: black tofu, crispy duck head, golden sand pig's trotters 😋
