The inside décor of the basilica is a little less impressive but still worth checking it out. Basilique Notre-Dame de l’Assomption We though it’s a great place to visit as it stretches alongside Jean Medecin Avenue with plenty of cafes and shopping places. The basilica has a traditional architecture, exactly the type of church you would expect to see in France. The inside is also nice but after visiting the Orthodox cathedral and the Cathedral of Nice, one can't compare the interior.
