Morning Market for breakfast!!
Love the freshly made pumpkin bun, the super sweet strawberry and egg hamburger:)
It is a clean and organized market. Can try a lot of new local food here. Especially the tou Fu fa in braised sauce instead of sweet version here in Malaysia.
Vegetables wrap mixed rice have a long queue there where u can select all the ingredients, mixed it and wrap with fresh veg. ##morningmarket

Come to Harbin to escape the heat and enjoy the cool summer, you must visit the Daoli Market again
How to deeply understand a city? You must visit the local markets that the residents frequent. Daoli Market, said to be one of the top ten markets in the country, is a treasure trove in Harbin because it embodies the real life and culture of the people.
Daoli Market is located at No. 57 Shangzhi Street, Harbin, right next to the Sophia Church and Central Street. The food here can truly be called hidden culinary gems. Fried cakes, dry fried pork loin, spicy hot pot, soy products, red sausages, large bread, mixed vegetables with sauce, and so on - a dazzling array of delicacies, freshly made and eaten on the spot. Just one round in the market, and both lunch and dinner are sorted.
Food is the most important thing for the people, and this century-old market not only encapsulates the essence of a city's life but also witnesses the changes of the times. Summer has already arrived, and the little potatoes from the south can come again to enjoy the summer retreat in Harbin, with 20-degree weather, delicious food, music, fragrances, and many more indescribable delights...

Harbin Must-See Pitfall Avoidance Guide~|||

Be wary of those who urge you to stick together in groups, as well as those peddling goods, and don't believe everything! Not all people from the Northeast are that nice, and it's easy to fall into a trap. When you're out and about, just be careful not to let them affect your mood.
1️⃣ **Daoli Vegetable Market:** There's no need to go to the Hongzhuan Street morning market. Instead, head to the Daoli Vegetable Market, where you can find Yin Fatty's fried cakes and internet-famous sour yogurt lamb after the morning market ends. Not only can you sleep in a bit, but there are also more delicious options at the market.
2️⃣ **Baroque Street:** For the famous old street sand pot restaurant in Baroque, make sure to go to the biggest one next to the bun shop. I made a mistake this time and went to a smaller one inside the street, but the taste was still pretty good and very hot, with fewer people. I'm not sure if it was a fake one.
3️⃣ **Ice and Snow World:** Harbin tourism is booming right now, and the Ice and Snow World is incredibly crowded, with queues so long you start to question life and cold enough to lose sensation. You have to grab tickets for the big slide and Ferris wheel 15 minutes in advance, and it's still possible you won't get them. Even if you do, you might not get to play because it's too cold outside and the queues are too long, making for a terrible experience.
4️⃣ **Sophia Cathedral and Central Street:** Sophia Cathedral, a famous building in Harbin, is not only majestic in appearance but also offers concerts inside for 20 yuan, and there are many pigeons in the square, making it a great photo spot, although it's very crowded. Central Street is a pedestrian street that locals also visit, always bustling. You can stroll around, and if you get cold, find a coffee shop to sit in. I recommend Goya Coffee Shop, which might be a bit hard to find but has a great atmosphere and coffee!
Additionally, as a local Harbin resident, if you need Harbin specialties or Northeastern Chinese specialties, I can help purchase them for you~ 🛍️💼

The Harbin travel guide is here!
Harbin❄️ is simply on fire🔥 this year! How can you miss it on a trip to the Northeast? ✨Head straight to the Snow Expo❄️, the Sun Island station is direct, there are not many people in the park, and the venue is super large! It is not recommended to take a sightseeing car🚗, because there are many snow sculptures along the way, this dragon🐲 is super shocking! The park is purely for viewing snow sculptures⛄️, there are free ice projects to play in the center, considering the seasonality and craftsmanship, 198r is worth it!
We crossed from the south gate of Sun Island to the Songhua River🌊, not slippery, not far away, highly recommend this walk! The cable car is not recommended❌, the road is short, expensive and queued.
Central Street is where people gather! But it has a great atmosphere🏮, the architectural features are super great, but there are too many people! It is recommended to come and feel slowly in the off-season.
The light show at the Daoli Vegetable Market and Sofia Cathedral⛪️ is super beautiful at night, but there should be fewer people during the day. There are many snacks in the vegetable market, the queue is long, we just took a photo📷 and left.
We went to the Songbei store🌲 in Shanhetun, leave enough time to wait for a seat, the taste is super good👍! The old kitchen is also a super authentic Northeastern cuisine, the pot-wrapped meat🍖, crispy yellow vegetables🥦, and double-section are all delicious! But the price and the amount of food are a bit un-Northeastern.
If you still have energy💪, it is recommended to go to Zhaolin Park to see ice lanterns🏮 and Songhua River Railway Bridge to enjoy the river view🌌 at night. If you are too tired, just go back to the hotel🏨.
Everyone must book a hotel🏨 in advance when going to Harbin! The price skyrockets🚀 during the peak season. I hope this guide can help you, have a pleasant journey✨!
