Night Market at BIFF Square, Busan
BIFF, stand for Busan International Film Festival. Obviously, travel distance from Haedong Yonggunsa Temple to BIFF Square is about 28 km. By that time we reached there it almost 6.00 pm. Visit here on Sunday or weekend is very crowded along the streets of BIFF. To the street food lovers, the BIFF is the perfect place and well known food paradise. By 7.00 pm, night market stalls will open it business to customers.
BIFF ( Nampo-Dong ) easy access by foot to Gukje Market Food Street. Along the path, food lovers can enjoy various kind of food collections. This is the second attraction in Busan we headed. Later part of the late evening we are heading back to our hotel for a good rest.

BIFF Square gets its name from the Busan International Film Festival, and is located near to Jagalchi Market. This area is dedicated to the film veterans of Korea .That’s why I can see lots of palm prints of famous film directors and movie celebrities on the ground along the street of BIFF Square.
In my opinion, BIFF Square in Busan is more fun than Myeongdong area in Seoul, because the variety of stores in BIFF Square is much more interesting, ranging from branded clothes, bags, accessories, shoes, etc. While in Myeongdong area, 80% of the stores are cosmetics stores which have no use for me 😅
As I don’t really do shopping much , my main purpose is to eat . there are so many street food here and I totally spoilt for choice since I cannot make up my mind I try almost all the food there I can see. Overall, it was a great Korean street food experience, and I enjoyed everything

BIFF is very near to Jagalchi Market, less than 10 mins walk. If you want to shop local products, you should come here. From cosmetics to clothes to foodstuff. This place is not as nice as Myeongdong or Insadong in Seoul.

Busan Extreme 9-Hour Adventure
A brief account of our 9-hour whirlwind tour in Busan. We arrived by cruise ship and used Uber for transportation. Without small change, we faced a challenge when a 50,000 won bill couldn't be broken by the driver. He kindly drove us around to find a convenience store to exchange it, without charging extra. This gesture greatly increased our fondness for the locals. Our itinerary included: Cruise Terminal - Baekseom Cultural Village - Songdo Cable Car - Songdo Yonggung - Gamcheon Cultural Village - BIFF Square - Lotte Department Store - Terminal. We didn't have time for the train ride.
Baekseom Cultural Village is picturesque, especially in the early morning when it's mostly locals jogging or walking. We bought round-trip tickets for the crystal cable car at Songdo, using a 20 yuan WeChat coupon, costing us 332 for three people. The entrance to Songdo Yonggung was 5 won, and it's a great spot for photos, especially in good weather.
Gamcheon Cultural Village felt like a mix of a small market and snack street, with a fishing village vibe, but it was too hot for our liking. At BIFF, we enjoyed a delicious meal of beef soup at a place in Nampo. Both the spicy beef soup and seolleongtang were delightful.
Olive Young was a great shopping spot, and we had prepared images to quickly ask staff for help due to our tight schedule. Finally, we shopped at Lotte, where tax-free prices were very appealing. Crocs were so cheap that I wished to buy another pair if I wasn't already wearing one. Our total taxi fare for the day was around 160 yuan. With a five-year Korean visa, I'm looking forward to visiting Busan again.

A place with really delicious strawberry cake.
Located in Nampo-dong, Busan, Top Floor is one of the most famous cake shops!! My colleagues would suggest going there for cake every break time because it's so delicious!!!
The interior and atmosphere are so nice that I can see why it's so popular~ It felt like I was in Europe!
Since it's a cafe that mainly sells cakes, they also sell candles, so it's a great place to buy cakes for anniversaries or birthdays~
Although it's a cafe in the city, most of the tables are occupied by couples or friends, making it a quiet and cozy place to chat! A great place to have a conversation!
✔️Business Hours
Weekdays 12:00-22:30
Weekends 11:00-22:30
I recommend going at the right time! Otherwise, there won't be any seats!!

A cozy cafe recommendation.
I came to Top Floor, a cafe that my friends and I really love!!
It used to be on the top floor of a building, which is why it's called Top Floor, but it recently moved to a new location because business is doing so well~~
The fact that it moved means the coffee and cakes must be delicious, right? I always eat two pieces of cake every time I come!
Usually, eating more than one piece of cake can be overwhelming, but here, the cakes are not too rich, so you can keep eating them! It's one of the best places for cakes!!
All the cakes are delicious, but my recommendation is the ganache chocolate cake!! It's also a great place to get gifts for special occasions~

The BIFF Square
#koreatrip Nice open area with a selection of street food. From BIFF square it leads to Gukje market where along the way you can find many street food. The price is affordable and they are delicious.
There are also proper seafood restaurants along the way.
Around BIFF square, you can see many standalone booths in the middle of the streets, they are actually providing fortune telling service.

Busan Bound | Gazing at the Sea
Gazing at the Sea. The first stop for a family trip in South Korea, Busan. The flight distance from Shanghai to Busan is quite short, only an hour and a half. After getting off the plane, we took a taxi to a hotel near Busan Station, the Wyndham Ankor Ramada Hotel in Busan. We stayed at this hotel for the entire three-day itinerary in Busan, which is conveniently close to various attractions and the train station.
🗓 Itinerary:
Day1 Busan Station, Busan Tower
Day2 Skyluge, Haeundae Beach, Capsule Train
Day3 Gamcheon Culture Village, BIFF Square, Busan Songdo Marine Cable Car
🚉 Travel Tips:
1. The T money card is similar to the domestic transportation card, making it really convenient to take buses and subways.
2. Download a navigation app called NAVER in Korea, which provides real-time traffic information, similar to Amap in China. It's very convenient and useful, especially when you can't understand Korean. Relying on it to take the bus and not miss your stop is great

Staying here in Nampo-dong, Busan is definitely the right choice
The Valtz Hotel was the final decision after comparing many hotels.
🌟 Highlights:
The hotel is relatively newly renovated
The location is quiet amidst the hustle and bustle
The distance is just right for a post-meal stroll back to the hotel from Nampo-dong
Nampo-dong Busan Nampo-dong Snack Street Valtz Hotel
🚉 Transportation Strategy:
We came from Haeundae, took the subway line 2 (towards Jangsan) to Seomyeon station, then transferred to line 1 (towards Sinpyeong) and got off at Nampo station. Exit from exit 7, walk along the Lotte Department Store building to the bridge, take the elevator up the bridge, cross it, and the elevator down leads right to the hotel, which is very convenient!
It's also convenient to go from the hotel to Songdo for the cable car or to Gamcheon Village to see The Little Prince. The bus stop is just over 300 meters from the hotel, and you can just navigate there.
To go to BIFF Square, it's recommended to directly go to the underground pedestrian street and stroll over. It's not easy to get lost underground, and you can shop along the way until you get there! The village bus to Gamcheon Village also departs from here!
BIFF Square
🖼 Restaurant Environment:
The hotel's 28th-floor restaurant allows you to enjoy the scenery while eating. The front desk will provide a discount coupon when you check in.
The third floor is a buffet restaurant, and dinner should be eaten before 19:30.
There's a coffee shop on the first floor, and hotel guests receive a 20% discount coupon.

BIFF Square is the best attraction in Busan. Like Myeongdong, there are so many street food stalls, entertainments and the best Japanese cake I tried. Just walking around the are would be a good start to get the feel of the environment. #wintergetaway
