One of world heritage located in Kathmandu Nepal. The Boudhanath Stupa is very similar to the Swayambhunath Stupa, only it is bigger and enjoys better symmetry. Boudhnath Stupa is famous for sight seeing . For foreign people the ticket price is 250Npr per person.
The Boudhanath stupa is a historical pilgrimage site for all the Buddhists around the world. It was built right after the demise of Lord Buddha during the 5th century AD.
Stunning Stupa in Kathmandu, Nepal
Beautiful Bouddhanath stupa is one of the must place in Nepal where we have to visit. It is located not far from Kathmandu international airport and Pashupatinath temple(both are heritage sites). We can plan to visit both places in the same day. Many people go to pay respect and make merit (walking meditation around the stupa and feed the birds)
There are lots of nice cafe surrounding, good to drink and enjoy view if you have enough time.
Lots of souvenir shops surrounding, not that expensive (can bargain).

Boudhanath Stupa. This is what I call serene.#bucketlistreboot#mytripvlog #stupa #nepal #peace #peaceful. Named after its immense stupa, Boudhha is a pilgrimage destination for Tibetans. Devotees stroll around the gleaming white dome adorned with painted Buddha eyes and visit nearby monasteries and schools for prayers and seminars. Tucked-away eateries serve up momos and thukpa noodle soup, while more upmarket restaurants offer stupa views. Silk thangka paintings are a popular buy in the area’s souvenir shops. The vibe and the atmosphere around the stupa always puts to peace.#bucketlistreboot

Stayed in Kathmandu for a month and everything about it was magical😍. Although it was summer, the weather in kathmandu was perfect. It was hot during daytime but cool at night time. We had rainy days which helped with the summer heat and it was just perfect compared to other cities in Nepal, which were just extremely hot.
We stayed in an apartment near boudha and the view was just amazing no matter what time of the day you see it. Especially the Boudhanath Stupa, it was just majestic and magical, you just get a feeling of relief when you watch it, its pleasing to the eye and the soul, it was really fun doing circles around boudha.
Kathmandu is very lively in the day time but even livelier at night. We did frequent thamel which is the place to experience proper nightlife in nepal, it just doesnt sleep. We went to club Platinum , Senate and LOD and had the best experience ever drinking and doing shisha with friends and locals🍾🤩.
Definitely recomment visiting this capital city of Nepal🤩❤️

Boudhanath Stupa
Boudhanath Stupa is probably the most famous and visited place in the city of Kathmandu. The whole visit, including walking around and taking pictures should last between 1 to 2 hours.
The place is really well preserved and is a pleasure to see. It is more comfortable to visit this place in the morning or late afternoon as the weather is quite hot.
This is the kind of places you must feel proud to visit and enjoy in person as it’s part of the list of UNESCO World Heritage Sites. Entrance fee is not expensive at all and it is good value for the money. Totally worthy.

Nepal's oldest world heritage: the Great Buddha Tower in Bodha, the former border market.
The trade between Nepal and Tibet has been very frequent since ancient times. Even today, many merchants who live in Lhasa or live in Lhasa often travel between Kathmandu and Lhasa. They are mostly daily necessities compared to their previous goods. Today, they are mainly based on tourist souvenirs. The most common one is Bodhi. There are Thangka, wool scarves, various gems and so on.
Due to cultural integration and influence, especially in the area of the Great Buddha Pagoda, Tibetan religious items are very common. Thangka, Jinglun, and the thick scent of butter tea make most visiting Chinese tourists feel I am familiar with everything.
The Buddha said that the world should be enveloped in this peaceful and peaceful atmosphere. The Habo Buddha Stupa is one of the most shocking of the entire Kathmandu.
The big eyes on the pagoda, quietly watching the devout pilgrims in the square, quietly watching the mean capital of Nepal.
Under the blue sky and white clouds, the Habo Grand Stupa stands tall in the middle of the square, watching the crowd coming and going. Above the square in front of the pagoda, many monks are turning the tower. A pair of eyes on the stupa are lifelike.
The Bodhnath Stupa is one of the seven world cultural heritage sites in the Kathmandu Valley and one of the largest pagodas in the world. According to historians, the Bodhnath Stupa has existed for as long as 1,500 years and was included in the United Nations in 1979 in the UNESCO World Heritage List. It is located at approximately seven kilometers from the center of Kathmandu. Approaching the Stupa and taking part in the clockwise rotation of the crowd, as if feeling the efforts of the old vortex, round after round, endless rotations, surrounded by the white pagoda of the magnificent Stupa. The clear blue sky and the colored prayer flags everywhere and makes it impossible to forget and gives you some peace in the mind. And the gray pigeons on the white tower, like a gray pearl on the white sari. The pigeons look like a group of angels, bringing blessings and peace to people. The expression is a little too cute to express the peace and spirituality of this place.

2023 was a year of Exploring!
In 2023 I have spent quite a lot of time traveling in Asia. A few of my highlights are the trekking I did in Nepal: the Annapurna Circuit where I reached the Thorung Pass of 5416 meters! What an experience. Also, in Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, visiting the huge Bouddhanath Stupa was something to remember. A few months later, in Thailand, I took a local train from Bangkok to the south, passing by beautiful places like Hua Hin with its amazing beaches!
For 2024 I wish everybody a lot of happy traveling and a lot of exploring new places, making new friends all over the world. But most important: Peace and Safety. A safe place to live in a peaceful country is something that everybody deserves.

Buddhism time
travel in Kathmandu, is a pilgrimage. Although not a Buddhist believer, but also sincerely walk in this city and the sacred country.
Among the many temples and temples, the deepest memory is the Boudha Big Stupa. It is located 8 km east of Kathmandu city centre and is one of Nepal's famous monuments. The tower is 38 meters high and has a circumference of 100 meters. The tower is white, the colored prayer flags hang from the top of the golden tower, and the Buddha's eye on the top of the tower looks into the distance. The Bodaha Pagoda is the largest round stupa in the world. Every day, there are countless gangsters and believers or worshipping pagodas, or walking around the stupa. In their minds, the Bodhha Pagoda is an important carrier of faith.
Recommended for accommodation: It is recommended to stay at the B&B near the Big Buddha Tower in Bodha. From time to time, go to the store to find interesting old goods, or buy some fruits and vegetables in the market. You can also walk to the stupa and walk around the stupa with the gangsters and believers every day. This is the most authentic Nepalese life.
Food recommendation: There are many delicious restaurants on the edge of the square in Bodhha. It is recommended from local snacks to delicious dishes from all over the world. Pay attention to choosing a restaurant facing the stupa, then eating at the window on the second floor, watching the stupa while eating, and taking a nap or reading a book after dinner, are the most beautiful time in Kathmandu.
On the main square of Habo, which is always full of people, always wins the favor of the sun, always full of light; always intertwined with the cohesion of faith, everywhere is full of good thoughts.
Bo Daha Square in the afternoon, a bunch of sunlight sprinkled under the eaves, above the cheeks of the monks, lighting his wonderful smile. The young boy, on the square, led his sister to immerse himself in a happy atmosphere
nightfall, under the stupa, the girl lit a candle and gently protected the candle with her hand. Clear hope
Come to Kathmandu, the capital of Nepal, the sacred Buddhist shrine, and follow the steps of the turrets to see every detail of Bodaha.
Goodbye, maybe you can't see each other again; say a word, don't think that this life is not separated.
always has the old man's hair, but the faith of the devout Buddha has never changed. In the noisy crowd, you bow your head, because the heart is detached from the secular tranquility.
Under the scorching sun, the old man still insisted on walking under the stupa, only because of the devout faith in his heart. The turret has a hundred times, telling thousands of times, this is a pious faith under the pagoda.
The Bodha Big Stupa is the world's largest monument of a round Stupa. Nepal's world cultural heritage has huge statue of Buddha with a pair of straight looking eyed known as "Eyes of peace" on the grand golden ground. The eyes are drooping and insightful. Everything looks so mesmerizing. It's like he is saying, I don’t know what to do, we see each other, I don’t think about it, everything is can be seen with your eyes and mind. This has become a cultural landmark of Nepal. The pagoda placed the great disciple of Sakyamuni, the ancestor of the Zen sect, the remains of Kaye, so it became the holy and spiritual center of Tibetan Buddhism throughout Nepal. The place is surrounded by believers who prayed around the tower. We were also happy to join it. I joined the other people and borrowed praying uniform as well to pray for my motherland so it would be better tomorrow.
