Located in the northeast of part of Guangxi province in south China, Guilin is considered to be the pearl of China's thriving tourist industry on account of the natural beauty and historic treasures. Covering an area of about 27,800 square kilometers (10,734 square miles), the city is rather compact when compared with other major travel destinations in the country.
I decided to stay at the Boyard Hotel hotel. This hotel offers breathtaking views from the hotel's rooftop. I went during sunset and sunrise to take absolutely breathtaking photos of Guilin city and the Karst mountains.
The breakfast at this hotel is also great. Western food and Chinese food - excellent coffee and cakes. The view from the 14th floor of breakfast is also wonderful and you can spend several hours admiring the view whilst eating a scrumptious breakfast.

Guilin Lijiang Boya Hotel has everything we need, including afternoon tea and a breakfast buffet. This is the first time I've stayed at such a thoughtful hotel. 🤩 The room has children's toothbrushes, slippers, and shower gel. So sweet! 🥰
The hotel is very generous with water. Not only does the room have bottled water, but there is also bottled water and tissues by the elevator. The mini fridge in the room is full of surprises, with 3 different drinks and milk for the kids. 🥛

I went to Guilin in June and encountered a rare flood in decades, forcing me to stay in the hotel. Fortunately, I found a very nice hotel.
📍Location: The hotel is located in the center of Guilin. Despite the flood, many places stopped delivering food, but this place could still deliver. There are also many authentic local Guilin delicacies nearby.
It is 3km from Guilin North Station, 5km from Guilin Station, and 8km from Guilin West Station, all within 20 minutes. It is only 2km from various attractions in Guilin, such as Seven Star Park, Reed Flute Cave, Diecai Hill, and Duxiu Peak.
⛰View: The hotel has a large viewing platform on the top floor, offering a panoramic view of Guilin's landscape. Photos 8 and 9 were taken from the top floor viewing platform. I think the scenery would be even better in good weather! Even if you don't go upstairs, you can quietly enjoy the distant mountains from the floor-to-ceiling windows in the room while lying on the bed.

It can be said to be a savior during the rainy season!! When I didn't take my clothes out in time after drying, I found them neatly folded and placed in a bag when I went to get them. I bought the tickets from Xiamen to Guilin more than a month ago, but who would have thought that I would encounter the flood in Guilin that happens once in decades. However, the hotel I stayed in this time is very nice. Even though I couldn't go to the scenic areas because of the weather, my stay in Guilin was still very pleasant, and I would like to call it the best hotel in Guilin for lying flat.
📍Location: The hotel is located in the center of Guilin city. Even though many places stopped delivery due to the flood, it is still possible to get delivery here. There are also many authentic local Guilin cuisines nearby. It is 3km from Guilin North Station, 5km from Guilin Station, and 8km from Guilin West Station, basically within 20 minutes of reach.
