Visiting to so museums previously and this 1, I would say this is the most interesting museum I have ever visited before.
Unlike those museum displaying the art pieces or precious items behind the window, the entire building itself has been the most beautiful ancient art building and you can just immerse yourself into the Cantonese Opera culture by seeing the live Opera Show in this open-air opera house.
Going to YongQingFang, do not miss out this spot.
Entrance fee: FREE

🎭🌟 Guangdong Cantonese Opera Culture Tour 🌟🎭
Today I embarked on a fantasy journey in Guangzhou and came to No. 127 Enning Road in Liwan District. I was amazed by the Cantonese Opera Art Museum full of Lingnan architectural style in front of me! Traveling through the tunnel of time is like walking into an ancient Cantonese opera script.
The museum is divided into north and south banks. The south bank has beautiful gardens, exhibition halls, stages and theaters, providing venues for various activities and performances; the north bank is the place for the restoration and inheritance of Cantonese opera cultural relics. There are free Cantonese opera performances every morning and evening. I just happened to catch the morning performance. Sitting there, I felt like I was on a time travel journey.
Here, I deeply appreciate the richness and charm of Cantonese opera culture. As a Cantonese, I feel extremely proud and hope that this art can be passed down from generation to generation. This is really a treasure worth visiting. I hope more people can come here to experience this wonderful experience! 🌺🎶

The Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Art Museum
The Cantonese Opera Art Museum is located on Enning Road, Liwan District, Guangzhou City, Guangdong Province,
The architecture of the Guangzhou Cantonese Opera Art Museum is very exquisite and distinctive. The museum's garden area consists of a group of antique buildings in the style of Lingnan gardens. The overall layout of the buildings is arranged along a cross-axis skeleton, with six groups of courtyard spaces scattered around the central Wan Sha Lake, each connected yet relatively independent. The decorations highlight traditional architectural craftsmanship and techniques combined with high-standard materials such as wood carvings, brick carvings, pottery sculptures, and plaster sculptures. In the center of the garden, there is a pure wooden structure waterfront stage (Guangfu Stage), where Cantonese opera and music performances are often held, dynamically showcasing the unique features of Cantonese opera art.
