My last Wander before pandemic hits
weeks before the pandemic happened :)
This is one of my favorite trips. Though unplanned but sometimes spontaneous getaways are more enjoyable. Truly i was stoked by the wonders of this place. From its story to its beauty it will really capture you.
Parola, Cape San Agustin is located at the most Southern part of the Philippines. One thing that I can't forget about visiting this place is the amazing view of the raging waters of the Celebes Sea on the south meeting the calm waters of Davao Gulf on the west. The beauty and mystery of nature indeed.

one of the must go when you visit Davao Oriental is the Cape San Agustin. When you try to view it in the map, you will see that it is located at the tip of Davao Oriental. From Davao City, we traveled with the gang by land for 6 hours.
The entrance fee is 50php. The Cape of San Agustin features two of the oldest lighthouse and you can go up to it. Sadly, during that time, one of the lighthouse is under repair. The Cape of San Agustin has a raging glimpse of the Celebes Sea. You will see it on the first picture. you can get down and you can take pictures there too and experience a little of the waves.
We passed by Tibanban so we decided to visit the Tibanban island. You can't expect much on the island when it comes to facilities---Comfort/shower room, Tables or somewhere you can put your things. Without any development, you can experience the nature's gift.
we paid 100php per head for our boat ride back and forth.
