Colorful and lively town of Asilah, Tangier, Morocco.
Tangier is the third largest city in Morocco, facing the sea. The famous attraction Cap Spartel Lighthouse marks the boundary between the Atlantic Ocean on the left and the Strait of Gibraltar and the Mediterranean Sea on the right, known as the "end of the world" in the northwest of the African continent. Another major attraction is the town of Asilah. You can take a train from Rabat to Tangier. In Tangier, we rented a car to visit the lighthouse and Asilah for a day.
Visiting the seaside town of Aixira is like stepping into a fairy tale world, with a feeling of walking into a painting. Artists paint on the streets and walls of residential buildings, with vivid works including abstract paintings, portraits, cartoons, and many related to daily life. The small stalls on the street are also decorated with artistic flair. The locals are friendly and enthusiastic, some even performing on the street. Unlike the old city, Aixira is clean, bright, and colorful. It is a place where you can take endless photos, but remember to leave a tip when watching local performances or taking pictures.
Asilah is suitable for half-day sightseeing, and with plenty of time, you can dine at seaside cafes or restaurants.

Cap Spartel and Hercules cave
Your journey begins by departing the city of Tangier for the short drive through Tangier corniche before winding your way to Cap Spartel. This is one of the promontories projecting into the waters where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea.
Continue to Hercules’ Caves, where legend has it that the super-strong hero took his last breath after separating Gibraltar from Africa. The caves are a series of underground passages and a number of prehistoric relics have been discovered here.

Coming to the Cape of Spatel, not far from there is a lighthouse that looks a bit like a minaret. The Point of Spatel is the northernmost point of the African continent and the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar. The west side of the less-inspired motorized lighthouse is the Atlantic Ocean, the east is the Mediterranean Sea, the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea are holding hands here, and the lighthouse at night. For the passing ships, identify the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea.
When the weather is fine, it is said that the tower is far away and it is possible to see Spain, but the lighthouse is not open to the public.
Look at the sea connected to the sky. When the visibility is good, you can clearly see the difference between the two types of sea water. Looking at the sea is easily attracted by a huge stone on the coast. The boulder is painted red and is marked with a green five-pointed star, which is the dividing line between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean.
Miss Cat.
The Spatel Cape Lighthouse is located at Spartel Point, the entrance to the Strait of Gibraltar in Tangier. It is the most northwestern corner of the African continent, bounded by a lighthouse, with the Atlantic Ocean to the west and the Mediterranean Sea to the east. When we arrived, the weather was fine and we were faintly looking at Spain across the sea. There are also some excellent cafs in the landscape, but the location is hot and it is full of people all the time. It is not easy to occupy the seats.
