The ride will cost about 125 twd per trip. There is a 5 stars Taipei garden hotel just opposite the Carrefour. The Carrefour is a 24 hour supermarket in Taipei. The two storey Carrefour will definitely make you spoilt for choice. From household items to snacks and fruits. I have purchased lots of almond ikan snack which is locally produced in Taipei. In addition, I do love their charcoal black peanut. The price is very reasonable. As Taipei is encouraging a green environment, hence we packed our items using the cardboxes places at the side of the counter. After making payment, we took all our items to that packaging station, and we placed all the snacks into the cardboard and wrap by ourselves. Masking tape and scissors are provided for you. As a tropical place, the mango and watermelon produced there are very sweet and tasty. I purchased half a dozen mangoes back at the hotel to enjoy. In addition, I love their local snacks. Their charcoal baked peanuts, ikan ibis almond snacks, crab roe flavoured sunflower seeds, and their yummy beef cup noodles. They are all my favourites. There will not be plastic bags given. After payment, I have to walk to the packaging area. Pick the correct box size, place all the things inside. Use the tape provided to seal the box. Use the metal stripe to wrap around the box and carry it. It is very eco-friendly. I hope our country will learn from them. #bucketlistreboot
