It's a massive shopping mall, and I was excited to try something I couldn't get back home in Malaysia or Singapore – KFC's egg tart! It was really delicious, and I was surprised it’s not available in more places. After walking around the mall, I decided to relax at a nearby cafe called Local HDY. The atmosphere there was cozy, and it was the perfect spot to just chill and take a break. In the evening, I headed over to Lee Garden Night Market. The market was packed with people, and there were so many stalls selling food, clothes, and souvenirs. It was a great way to end the day, just exploring and enjoying the lively vibe of the night market. #solotrip #hatyai #thailand #100waysoftravel

Shopping Experience in Hat Yai 🇹🇭

#songkran2024 📍Central Festival, Hat Yai, Thailand Went to one of the most famous shopping centre in Hat Yai city called Central Festival mall during our recent visit, and it was a great place for shopping! The mall is huge and spacious, with multiple floors and levels. Lovely place to shop around, as they have departmental store called Central, a lot of local boutiques stores (with it, Gentle Woman) to international boutique stores, Central Festival has a lot to offer! Besides, the whole basement floor is filled with food stores like the famous Toro Fries, Cha Tra Meung milk tea! The mall has other eateries as well, from Japanese cuisine to hot pot (MK restaurant), to local Thai cuisine, there is just so much to explore. Love it!

Central Department Store in Central Festival🇹🇭

#winhkflight 📍Central, Central Festival, Hatyai Visited the department store called Central in Central Festival mall, Hat Yai. They have a few floors altogether, selling different stuff on different level. For such, cosmetics, women’s shoes and bags on the first floor, women’s clothing department on the second floor, men’s and kids clothing department on the third floor. The store is huge and spacious. The stores are well arranged and is very organised, staffs were very helpful and kind. Love that they have cushioned chairs and sofa for customers to rest and chill for a bit. Also, they have restrooms in the Central store as well, how convenient is that. Love it, love the clothing displays, the quality of the clothing items. I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

Huge Mall - Central Festival Hatyai

Huge mall with lots of shops from the usual brands such as Uniqlo and Adidas etc to thrift shops with fashion from 125 bhat! I bagged a dress and a skirt for 324 bhat 😊 The G level is a food haven where you’ll be spoilt for choice 😁 Check out the atrium spaces for sales and promotion. Buddy bought 4 pairs of Jack Russell berms at 1 for 1 promo. Love the Super Sports Store but didn’t have enough time. We planned to have dinner at Food Park (food court) but missed it due to lack of time. Before we know it, the mall was closing 😆 Recommend to head there early if you’re there to shop because the mall is simply huge! Fun 4 kids @ Indoor Playground Hat Yai

#2023travelwish If you are at Hat Yai this rainy season in December, do check out this indoor playground at the top level of central festival mall if you have kids along with you. Everything You Need in A Store from 10 to 100 Baht

#hatyaitrip 📍Strawberry Club, Central Festival Hatyai Revisited this cute little store called Strawberry Club again during our recent visit to Hatyai, and things have been a little different! Everything in store used to cost only 10baht per item, but for now some of the items have some slight increment in prices. The store is of decent size, with plenty of items available from stationeries like pencils, notebooks, sharpeners to household items for such tupperwares, cute bags, eyelash clipper hair tie and more. The store is very packed with customers and was a little chaotic during our visit this time round but this store is definitely worth the visit if you’re looking for cute items and affordable stationeries!

Central Festival Hatyai is a must go

Central Festival is the biggest mall in Southern Thailand, located in Hatyai that offers a huge selection of shops selling local and international goods. This mall is a popular destination for tourists. One can get almost everything here from food, snacks, clothes & accessories, knickers-knacks, gifts, shoes, cosmetics, electronics to personal items etc. There is a wide range of retail stores located on each floor of the mall. The ground level sells mostly food and is a haven for shoppers. You can get all the unique and delicious locally made Thai cuisine, food and snacks here. Super Enjoyable Moment at Central Festival

I recently visited Hat Yai Central Festival, and it was an awesome experience! The mall is huge and has a wide variety of shops, restaurants, and entertainment options. 🛍️🍽️ It's a great place to shop for both local and international brands. The food court offers a delicious selection of Thai and international cuisine. 🍜🍲 The atmosphere was lively, and the staff were friendly and helpful. very near to all nearby attraction even ride by maxim all ride around 60 bath :) staff very helpful. from the front desk to the bell boy. I enjoyed my stay here in HatYai. walking distance from bus station and central hatyai but since it was rain we decided to took Maxim. Overall all clean and even the staff put away the alcohol during our stay. Enjoy sangat stay there.

Cute Plantation Store in Hat Yai 🇹🇭

#songkran2024 📍Central Festival, Hat Yai, Thailand Was surprised to see this cute plantation store at the basement parking of Central Festival mall in Hat Yai. The store is small and cute, but filled with lush greeneries and various plantations like cactus of many kinds. Besides, there are also a lot of clay flower pots painted in colourful colours on the shelves, and cute decors to be placed at the flower pot. The prices were decent and the owner was friendly and polite. The store is located next to the entrance of the mall, thus it is quite easy to spot them while visiting Central Festival mall in Hat Yai! Would love to revisit to get more of the clay flower pots !

Gentlewoman is finally here in Hat Yai 🇹🇭

#winhkflight 📍Gentlewoman, Central Festival, Hatyai Was so surprised to see this store in Central Festival mall, Hatyai as this store is newly opened here! The store is huge, clean and bright. Love that the store is brightly lit up, quite spacious as well. Gentlewoman is a local brand based in Bangkok, love that they have finally opened a store in Hatyai! They have a lot of cute and unique clothes, for both kids and adults, the designs are all so pretty! Besides, they also sell accessories like tote bags, slings, hats, caps, even phone covers. The store wasn’t very crowded during our visit, unlike the ones in Bangkok, very happy with this. I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

Thai Cuisine at Central Festival Mall, Hatyai

#winhkflight 📍Black Canyon Coffee and Eatery, Central Festival, Hatyai We did some shopping in Central Festival mall, Hat Yai and decided to have lunch at one the famous chain Thai restaurant, Black Canyon. The restaurant is huge, spacious, with ample seatings and the seats were cushioned and comfortable. The in store decoration is simple, a very typical kind of restaurant in a mall. The menu is extensive and they offer a lot of Thai food and drinks, like pad Thai, Tom yum, local authentic breakfast like porridge, breakfast set. Drinks menu were also huge! Food was served quickly and the portion was alright. We ordered pad Thai and stir fry glass noodles. Both were flavourful and full of wok-hei, love it! Prawns used were decent! Wish that the service could be better! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food.

Special Long Potato Fries in Hatyai 🇹🇭

#winhkflight 📍Toro Fries Hatyai 1518 Kanjanavanich Road, Tambon Hat Yai, Hat Yai District, Songkhla 90110, Thailand We did some shopping at Central Festival and spotted this cute store selling long potato fries! The store is located at the ground floor of the mall, where there are a lot of other food stores! Toro fries specialise in long potato fries with a wide selections of sauce like spicy cheese sauce, purple sweet potato cheese sauce, salted egg cheese sauce and more! We ordered one order of long potato fries with the signature flavour, love the spicy cheese and onion sauce. Fries were served hot with loaded sauce on the top! The order of fries were quite fulfilling and good for sharing! The price was quite affordable (139 Thai baht). We waited around 15minutes to get our order of fries, would recommend to order and hang around for a bit. Love it ! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

They are located at the ground floor of the mall, together with other food stores at the ground floor. The store is small and compact, selling cute and useful household items! The store is bright and the items are arranged accordingly to their respective categories: household products, stationeries, stickers, cables. From cute Sanrio character stationeries, cute dumplings stress balls, to household items like food containers, scrubs, hand cloths, they have it all! The items are easily accessible and is suitable across customers of different ages! Everything is legit 10 Thai baht and is so affordable, comes in high quality we love it. I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

The interior of the store is cutely decorated, with pinkish walls and some neon lights wording at the cashier. Everything sold here is so cute and gorgeous! From stationeries to gift bags to random items like hair clips, hair pins, pencil box, they have it all! The items are arranged accordingly, for such the make up regions where they sell fake eye lashes, nail wraps, foundation puff, cotton balls, mirrors: while for stationeries area they do have pens, notebooks, pencil box, files and more. The items are of great quality and everything is 10 baht, so affordable and customer friendly! I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

The biggest mall in Hatyai with variety shops

#cherryblossom2024 This mall offers a wide range of retail stores, from popular fashion brands to electronics and home goods. It’s also houses a variety of restaurants and food stalls, providing plenty of dining options. At the ground floor, there is a food court where you can try the local delights. During peak meal times, it can be quite challenging to find a seat to dine in. Despite the seating difficulties, the tasty and reasonably priced food makes it worth a visit.

Central Festival Hatyai halal foods

If you want to enjoy eating halal food indoor with air conditioners, variety options and still cheap but delicious please come to Central Festival Hatyai. Too many options for halal food you can try from tomyam, fresh oysters, longan drinks, pulut mangga and many others. Free parking for tourist and most importantly its open from morning until night. Pokemon Christmas @ The Central Festival

I love Pokemon and it was a happy surprise when I stopped by The Central Festival Hat Yai Mall, the biggest shopping mall in Hat Yai. There were quite a few Pokemon statues to pose with (kids love them!). As a long time Pokemon fan, I can’t waste the opportunity to snap some pictures especially Spriggatito, Fuecoco, and Quaxly, the starters from the latest installation of the Pokemon game series, Pokemon Scarlet and Pokemon Violet. There are events happening at the mall almost weekly! When we were there, we got to feed capybaras and hold a snake! It also has plenty of services available: luggage storage, prayer room, wheel chair, baby stroller, baby feeding room, and even free wifi! Head over to the lower ground floor for a wide selection of food - both halal and non halal available! Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Toro Fries

Toro fries is not from fresh potatoes, it’s from a mixture / and being shaped into a long fries. Imagine mashed potatoes but it’s fried. The taste is okay , quite good. There’s a wide variety of sauce to choose. However, if you really wanna try it, order the fries and do some shopping after. We walked around for 1 hour to wait for the fries to be ready. You dont have to try, it’s not a must have to eat. I initially wanted to give a not so good review because their machine broke down during my turn and I had to wait more than an hour for just a bit of fries (two small boxes). But then they apologized and fries were good. Machine breaking down is not their fault tho i heard that it is usually happening there where you need to wait for a long time before you can get your order.😅😅 For 139 baht, you’ll enjoy toro fries and can select three sauce flavors. All staff are accommodating and while waiting for your food you can roam around.😅😅 Located inside Central festival ground floor. #trip #city

#wheretogo We visited Hat Yai, Thailand for only 3 days 2 nights, and we went to at least 2 market/festival per day! It truly is a land of celebration! Here are some that we went to, and what stood out the most for us: 1) Skyfall Hatyai @ Central Festival Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Ever visited an event inside a car park? We chanced upon the poster of this event at Hum Coffee, and headed there straight in the evening! There were lots of booths selling food and thrift goodies as well. And a bar too in the middle of the carpark! 2) Lee Gardens Night Market Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️ Surely, you've heard of this market before. Super lively, and super packed as well. Mostly food stalls, but there are musicians busking as well! As soon as you go in, the smell of fried seafood will entice you to their stalls. Says the person who got enticed 😭 3) Greenway Night Market Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If you're looking to spend on fashion, then Greenway Night Market is a better market to head to. Lots of new style and fashionable choices, and if you're hungry, there's a huge food court available as well! 4) Walking Street Hatyai Rating (out of 5): ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ They have almost all kinds of stalls imaginable - food, appliances, clothing and more! There was even a singing competition happening when we were there! Such a fun atmosphere!
