5 Magical Days in NYC at Christmas Time 🎄✨
As a local New Yorker, I’ve got a special bonus spot that most tourists don’t know about, but I’ll save that surprise for Day 3.
If you’re visiting NYC during the holidays, here’s my ultimate 5-day itinerary to make the most of your trip!
Day 1: Arrive in the Big Apple and start with a visit to the iconic Rockefeller Center to see the giant Christmas tree and go ice skating ⛸️. Wander through Fifth Avenue to admire the festive window displays.
Day 2: Head to Central Park for a winter walk, then explore the Metropolitan Museum of Art for some holiday-themed exhibits. End the day with hot cocoa at a cozy café ☕️.
Day 3: Now for the bonus! Visit Dyker Heights in Brooklyn, where the entire neighborhood goes all out with the most spectacular Christmas lights and decorations 🎅🎄. It’s a hidden gem for tourists, and it’s definitely worth the trip!
Day 4: Spend the morning shopping for gifts at the Union Square Holiday Market 🎁. In the evening, take in the holiday lights at Bryant Park and grab a bite at the Winter Village.
Day 5: Wrap up your trip by visiting the Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island 🗽. Then, stroll around Times Square to soak in the energy of the city before heading back home.
New York City at Christmas is pure magic – lights, cheer, and unforgettable moments! Don’t miss out on my local recommendation for Dyker Heights! ✨

Washington DC to NYC is a family fun road trip! 🇺🇸
A few years ago I went on a road trip with my family to explore the East Coast of the US. It was an exciting trip and here is my itinerary!
🇺🇸 Start your road trip in Washington, DC, by exploring iconic landmarks like the National Mall, Lincoln Memorial, and the Smithsonian museums. Allow time for a stroll around the Tidal Basin for stunning views.
🏙️ Head to Baltimore next. Visit the Inner Harbor for scenic waterfront views, then explore Fell’s Point for fresh seafood and historic charm. Don’t miss the American Visionary Art Museum!
🗽 Continue to Philadelphia. Dive into history at Independence Hall and the Liberty Bell, then grab a Philly cheesesteak and run up the “Rocky Steps” at the Philadelphia Museum of Art.
🏙️ End your trip in New York City with a walk through Central Park, a visit to Times Square, and take in the view from the Empire State Building. Don’t forget to explore different neighborhoods like SoHo and Greenwich Village.
Tip: Bring snacks and stay flexible with your schedule to soak up the unique vibe of each city! 🍎

Visit New York's Central Park.
Central Park is the largest urban park in New York. It is located in the middle of Manhattan, New York, where there are many skyscrapers. The park covers an area of 3.4 million square meters, is about 4,100 meters long from north to south, and only 800 meters wide from east to west. It is the largest man-made natural landscape in the world. one. It was the first urban park in American history designed by Frederick Law Olmsted (1822-1903) and fellow architect Calvert Vaux (1824-1895).
After visiting the Metropolitan Museum that morning, we turned left and entered Central Park. The park is very large, with large lawns and old trees on both sides of the road. Little squirrels and various birds are jumping around on the lawn; There are also many tourists pushing strollers to rest on the lawn, lying on the grass and reading books, or riding in groups on the park roads. Because we entered Central Park after leaving the museum, we could see a tall obelisk in the distance. When we came back to do some homework, we realized that this was not an ordinary stone monument. The original name of this obelisk was "Clio" "Cleopatra's Needle" (Cleopatra's Needle) was built in Egypt in 1600 BC. It is 21 meters high and weighs about 220 tons. It was a gift from the Governor of Egypt to the U.S. Consul General in Cairo in 1869. In 1881, it was placed behind the Metropolitan Museum of Art in Central Park.
Cleopatra's Needle is the common name of three ancient Egyptian obelisks - one in New York, one in London and one in Paris.
The obelisk is one of the masterpieces of ancient Egypt and a monument to the worship of the sun in ancient Egypt. Apart from the pyramids, it can almost become the most distinctive symbol of ancient Egyptian civilization. In 1831, the Governor of Egypt, Mohammed Ali, decided to "gift" one of the obelisks to French King Louis Philippe in order to better communicate with France. This obelisk now stands on the Place de la Concorde in Paris.
This obelisk in Central Park is about 3,600 years old, which is much older than the Tender Temple mentioned in my last note. The Temple of Dender was built around 15 BC, more than 2,000 years ago. In the 1960s, Egypt was building the Aswan Dam. Many famous cultural relics and monuments would be submerged in the reservoir. The United States paid for the relocation of several of them. Egypt is really unable to save this small temple, which is about 2,000 years old, and can only let it submerge in the water. Egypt said to the United States: If you have the ability to dismantle it, I will give it to you. The American people were so impressed that the temple was temporarily dismantled, and a total of 800 tons of materials were packed into 640 containers and shipped to the United States. According to the original plan, the temple would be placed on the riverside in Washington or Boston and presented to the public in an open-air manner. However, considering that the sandstone of the main body of the temple is easily eroded by wind and rain, the U.S. government decided to permanently display it in the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York. After ten years of construction, the Tender Temple was officially opened to the public in 1978 and gained a new lease of life.

Central Park in New York
Major check-in points in Central Park:
🚶Belvedere Castle: A castle in Central Park, with a display stand and observation deck inside. The architecture blends Gothic and Roman styles.
🚶The Lake: A famous check-in point in Central Park! You can take pictures of the twin towers and river view!
🚶Bow Bridge: An iron bridge spanning the lake, with many people boating on the lake.
🚶Bethesda Fountain: A filming location in Friends!
🚶Bethesda Terrace: A panoramic view point.
Finally, exit from 5th Ave, there are many food trucks selling chicken over rice on the street side (who knows, memories of after school in college, must add white sauce, now the price has risen to 7 dollars, it was only 5 dollars when I was studying haha)

Central Park, nestled in the heart of New York City, is an urban oasis that transcends the bustling metropolis surrounding it.
Its sprawling red leaves and serene ambiance make it feel like a captivating forest in the heart of one of the world's largest urban centers.
There are plenty of playgrounds. Some of them are located next to the big streets surrounding the park.
It's a must-visit destination for anyone visiting New York City, a place where you can escape the hustle and bustle of the city and immerse yourself in nature.

A Trip To Central Park NYC
#wecreate
The central Park is an urban park in downtown New York city. The park is huge and spacious and provides an escape from the busy lifestyles and hustle and bustle of the new york city life. There is lots of lush greenery and I appreciate the nature within the park. The sights are beautiful as you see a fair mix of floral and fauna with tall sky scrappers sticking out in the background. If you're lucky you get to see some animals within the park too, like squirrels, raccoons, some ducks, etc. There are several water features in the park and makes the place even prettier. Central Park is ideal for a hike, a jog, a stroll, a picnic or even just taking pictures. My pictures can't justify how awesome this place is and you should visit the park instead, if you are in New York City.

Walking and enjoying food trucks
Central Park is a good place to enjoy nature in the middle of Manhattan. The park is very huge so pack some comfortable walking shoes. There is bike rental options but it doest not come cheap (around $15 per hour). There are many food trucks around here. Started off at Fifth avenue entrance facing the Apple store 🏬 ( probably after you have enjoyed some window shopping 🛍️ along Fifth Avenue)

Central Park, Nature Amidst the City
Amidst the hustle bustle of the largest metropolis city, there is a natural gem called the Central Park. The urban park is situated between the Upper West and Upper East Sides of Manhattan.
The park is surrounded by beautiful trees and cute animals, like squirrels and duck. Being there can clear your mind from the busyness of the city. It is a great place to take a stroll or jog. There were also people who meditate and do yoga at the park. For me personally, I like to see the squirrels there and have picnic with my friends.
There are various touristy attractions around the park, including the Museum of Modern Art, and trendy cafes.

We have a great afternoon experience walking along the central park, in the middle of New york Cty, the biggest park in the Urban.
I know many here prefer the carriage or bicycle tours for sightseeing, relaxing and get the fresh air. For us, we did just walking around the park, stop by a great coffee shop, enjoy the environment and got more beautiful shot of photos, get more air, my kids love it very much and our great memories is rented and experience on a boat that was awesome and this exciting is worth to do it.

Sitting by the window & admire Central Park
Truly a masterpiece of landscape architecture, Central Park is beautiful all year round. It is a real landmark of Manhattan and life usually revolves around it.
It is no longer just a dream to wake up with a park view, even if you don’t own an apartment here. There are many hotels on the south of the Central Park along W 59th Street.
If it is in your bucket list too, then be sure to start signing up to hotels’ newsletters and watch out for last-minute sales. Always compare to find the best deals and do check out reviews online too.
If possible, try requesting for a room on the higher floor with Central Park view. I promise you, this experience will be etched in your memory forever.

Central Park is known as the back garden of New York. This place is home to woods, lawns, lakes, a fountain, a zoo, and a sports ground. The key attraction here is the Bethesda Terrace and Fountain. In this spot, you can always see locals out on morning jogs and visitors picnicking on the grass. In the park, you can rent a bicycle or take a carriage ride. The park is not always safe at night though, so be careful.

Having a great day with my dog in Central Park! First, I must say, in the first picture, he is not dead. He is a very lazy dog who after 10 minutes refused to walk anymore. We enjoyed being in NYC, and Central Park is so different than the city. Just by a few steps you leave the hustle and bustle of New York to enter a big forest of life and green. So come to see it just how great this park is.

CENTRAL PARK 🍃
Central Park is one of those places that make New York such a great place to live. The huge park is located in the center of Manhattan. Its design has served as an example for city parks around the world.

Where would you think of New York's most famous travel destination?
My favorite is Central Park, which is known as the "back garden" of New York. This is not only a recreation place for New York citizens, but also a favorite tourist destination for tourists from all over the world. It is also the largest urban park in New York.
cody_go
There is a large park in New York with a high-rise building.
Central Park is located in the middle of Manhattan, a skyscraper with skyscrapers. It is the largest urban park in New York and is known as the back garden of New York. Its beautiful scenery is definitely the darling of the movie lens. Of course, it's not just the scenery that looks from the sky. The most important thing is that there are light green meadows, small forested courtyards, ice rinks, carousels, amphitheatre, etc., which can be used for boating on lakes, tennis courts, sports fields, art galleries, etc. Artificial natural landscape.
The movie "Morning Anchor" has a clip, that is, the woman owner has been reporting the results of her efforts to the superior in order not to be cut. At that time, the superiors were running in the Central Park in the morning...
The central park has a lot of vegetation, and the summer is a lush piece. And if it is autumn, the scenery is even more amazing! Although I didn't go to play in the fall, the photos I saw and the scenes of the movie were really amazing! As described in the movie "The Queen of Prada", in order to shoot a series of photos of the "urban jungle" for the magazine, modern women are conquered by releasing the inner wildness.
In Central Park, you can see the world in which you live and travel in New York. Some of you have some games and some sports, but you can find the time in the bustling metropolis.
