I made a special trip to Yantai for the stranded whales, and it was a romantic cry
You can't just photograph Yantai if you want to capture it.
◾ You have to photograph the Penglai Pavilion, the celestial mountain on the sea
After all, Emperor Qin Shi Huang once came here in search of the elixir of life
◾ You have to photograph the Changdao of the Yellow Sea and Bohai Sea
It is known as one of the top ten most beautiful islands in China
◾ You have to photograph the sunrise at Moon Bay
The red sun illuminates the entire sea, and only then do you realize how romantic the ocean can be
◾ You have to photograph the Fisherman's Wharf
See the artistic and romantic European-style architecture, watch the sea breeze carrying the waves
◾ You have to photograph the lonely whale
There are no deserted islands here, only stranded whales
◾ You have to photograph the tender sea intestine rice, three parts sweet, seven parts fresh; you have to photograph the famous Jiaodong dish, Spanish mackerel dumplings; you have to photograph the pigeon meat wontons, you have to photograph the seafood lumps soup, all sorts of seafood on the stoves
◾ You have to photograph Yantai Mountain
The beacon tower, the name of Yantai comes from here. The buildings of foreign consulates from 17 countries record the history of Yantai Mountain, the first port of Shandong to open to international trade.
◾ You photograph the solitary lighthouse
This is the night pearl of the Yellow Sea that guards a city and a sea
◾ You have to photograph the sunset of this city
When the sun sets, the magnificent evening glow disappears, and the sky turns to leaden gray...

Yantai, Shandong to Changdao.
📍 Little trips:
Ferry ticket 45 yuan, entrance ticket 56 yuan, bus 5 yuan per stop
Changdao, a cluster of islands at the junction of the Bohai Sea and the Yellow Sea.
To the west of Penglai Pavilion, there is a ferry terminal. It's not a ferry or a cruise ship, but a proper transport ferry. To put it this way, you need to enter the station, buy a ticket, and wait for the ship. After boarding, you take your assigned seat, just like on a train or plane. The ship departs from Penglai and makes several stops, with a service every 10 minutes. The first stop is Changdao, which takes about forty minutes. The standard fare is 45 yuan per person, and the premium fare is 60 yuan per person, which is probably equivalent to a first-class seat on a train. If you want to merge with the sea and sky, you can choose to pay extra to upgrade your cabin, moving up to the top deck above the standard cabins. Here, not only can you feed seagulls, but you can also let the sea breeze slap your cheeks.
Changdao used to be a county, but later merged with Penglai to become a district of Yantai. The island has indigenous residents, and cars can be transported back and forth between Changdao and Penglai, but it seems that vehicles from outside are not allowed on the island. Changdao is also known as Changshan Island, divided into north and south parts. North Changshan Island has Jiuzhang Cliff and Moon Bay, while South Changshan Island has Xianjingyuan, Fengshan Forest Sea, and the boundary line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea, which is said to be more clearly visible here. The island's bus service costs 5 yuan per person per trip, and it goes to any scenic spot. If you get off, it costs 5 yuan; if you don't get off and just take a round trip around the island, it's still 5 yuan; if you get off by mistake and have to get back on, it's another 5 yuan. You can buy a card for the bus, 20 yuan for 4 trips, still 5 yuan each; if you use mobile payment, it's also 5 yuan per person per trip. In short, it's always 5 yuan, straightforward and inflexible. The ferry terminal is on South Changshan Island. Take the bus over the Lianhai Bridge to Jiuzhang Cliff first. As a 4A-level tourist area, Jiuzhang Cliff contributes 3.5A.
Jiuzhang Cliff, with a height of nine Zhang, equivalent to about thirty meters, is officially taller than thirty meters. The entrance ticket costs 56 yuan, including both Jiuzhang Cliff and Moon Bay. Jiuzhang Cliff faces the sea, and unlike other places with sandy beaches, this place has a pebble beach, which seems to have been recently renovated. Following the wooden path, you will reach the engraved stele of Jiuzhang Cliff. There are two paths to choose from: one goes up the mountain, as there must be a mountain next to the cliff, with some local cultural attractions, though some may seem contrived; the other path leads to the seaside through the stone road, mainly composed of quartzite, with large, evenly cut slabs as if chopped by knives and axes. It is said to have formed from ancient crustal movements and mountain uplifts, which may be hard to understand, but you can choose to believe it. Walking along the undulating stone beach, with the sea breeze blowing and feeding the seabirds, watching the marine life grow freely below, one's mood becomes tranquil.
The closest scenic spot to Jiuzhang Cliff is Moon Bay, which is a half-hour walk away or a few minutes by the scenic area's sightseeing car for 20 yuan. The island's bus still costs 5 yuan to get there. From the bus stop to the entrance of Moon Bay is less than ten minutes. After entering, you'll realize that if it weren't for the 56 yuan combined ticket, there would be no need to come here from Jiuzhang Cliff just to see a very simple seaside. After pausing for a minute, I decided to return. On the way back, I saw the seal pool, which was somewhat interesting. For 10 yuan a pack of feed, you can feed the seals and watch them clap, clap, clap.
Taking the ferry back to Penglai, I vaguely remembered that there was a sculpture of the Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea in the city years ago and wanted to see it, but I didn't know where it was, so I asked a passerby. The reply was that it had been demolished, and now you can only see it in the paid Eight Immortals Crossing the Sea scenic area. Doubtful, I headed towards the hotel, passing by Penglai Cultural Square, where the sculpture stood prominently, the earliest Penglai Pavilion scenic area. It seems that the passerby was also from out of town, and one should not take their word for it. Practice is the sole criterion for testing truth.

For a comprehensive Long Island travel guide, this one article is all you need
The most beautiful northern island—Yantai Long Island, the simple island scenery is truly stunning! This guide is suitable for a one-day or two-day trip to Long Island, mainly introducing the main island's South Changshan and North Changshan Island✅
-
1⃣About travel🚗
To reach Yantai or Penglai, navigate🧭 to the Penglai-Long Passenger Terminal, where there is a parking lot🅿
-
💌Buying tickets: Search on WeChat public account🔍 'Long Island Ferry Tickets', choose the right schedule, ticket price💰45, the ferry takes about 45 minutes. If you like feeding seagulls, you can buy some sausages in advance, and feed them while the boat is moving, which is really fun😄
-
2⃣About tickets🎫
Long Island is divided into the South Line: Fengshan Forest Sea, Xianjingyuan💰79
North Line: Crescent Bay and Jiuzhang Cliff, Xianjingyuan💰79
Full line ticket price💰129
-
3⃣About the itinerary
✨One-day trip: If you only have one day and take the boat to the island in the morning, you can visit both the south and north islands, though it will be a bit rushed. First, go to Fengshan Forest Sea, and in the afternoon, visit Crescent Bay and Jiuzhang Cliff to watch the sunset🌄 and the lighthouse. If you arrive on the island around noon, it's recommended to only visit the north line, Crescent Bay, and Jiuzhang Cliff.
-
✨Two-day trip: We played on Long Island for two days and it was very comfortable😌. On the first day, we took the morning boat to the island, checked into a fisherman's house, which you should book in advance as they will pick you up at the terminal. After eating seafood🦞 and taking a nap, we went straight to Crescent Bay and then to Jiuzhang Cliff to make sure to capture the sunset and the lighthouse in photos, it's so beautiful~
-
4⃣About attractions
🚣🏻Crescent Bay🌙 has a beach🏖 with colorful pebbles, and you can swim in the summer.
🚣🏻Jiuzhang Cliff was formed by geological movements thousands of years ago, and the natural cliff scenery is very beautiful. You must watch the sunset🌄 and the lighthouse here! The two attractions are close to each other, so it's recommended to visit them together.
🚣🏻Fengshan Forest Sea Scenic Area allows you to overlook Long Island and the boundary line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea at Changshan Tail. On clear days, the boundary line between the two seas is very distinct, and you can experience the feeling of 'one foot in two seas, ears listening to the double waves'. Additionally, there's a wooden walkway in the back sea of the scenic area where you can also leisurely catch seafood. This area is quite large, so it's recommended to take an electric cart to tour the entire area, ticket price💰45, especially for the elderly and children.
-
5⃣About accommodation, dining, and island transportation
Accommodations are mainly local fisherman's houses as there are few hotels with limited conditions. It's recommended to stay in a fisherman's house on the south island, which are all very clean and cozy; we stayed in a two-story villa🏠.
Dining is, of course, mainly fisherman's meals and a variety of seafood. It's advised to ask around and not get overcharged; we mostly ate delicious seafood feasts at the fisherman's house where we stayed✌.
Regarding island transportation, outside vehicles are not allowed❎ to enter the island. There are shuttle buses between scenic spots and the terminal, 20 per person, and you can ride as much as you like. Alternatively, you can call a Didi on the island, though it might be difficult to hail in some places. There are also shared bicycles🚴♀ available for rent.
Due to word limit, if there are any unclear questions, feel free to ask me anytime. I hope to be of help to everyone😃

【Schedule】
9:10-10:00 Penglai Changdao
Purchase ferry tickets in advance on the WeChat public account 'Changdao Ferry Tickets' (a one-way trip costs 45 yuan, and it's okay to buy tickets one day in advance). Arrive at Penglai Port 15 minutes early, where you can enter the station directly with your ID card. Once on board, find a seat at your leisure, or head to the deck to watch the sea and seagulls (prepare some sausages in advance to feed the seagulls!)
10:30 Arrive at the Fengshan Forest Sea ticket office
We bought a full-line ticket at half price for students (75 yuan per person for all attractions on Changdao, remember to bring your student ID, or show the ticket seller your registration on the 'Xuexin' educational network), and then we started hiking. Here you can find the boundary line between the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea, which is super photogenic, and there are lots of seagulls. It's recommended to spend two hours here.
Have lunch and take a nap at noon.
14:00 Arrive at Wangfu Reef, play for an hour until Yuyue Bay. Most of the time is spent sitting by the sea, enjoying the breeze, listening to the waves, basking in the sun, and chatting.
16:00 Head to Jiuzhang Cliff to watch the sunset, which is incredibly beautiful, and there are fishing boats passing by that make for great photo opportunities.
Notes:
1. Check the weather forecast in advance before planning your trip! Always choose a good day for sea viewing!
2. You can bring your own dry food (bread, sausages + water, etc.) to the island, as food on the island is a bit expensive and not very tasty . The wind is strong by the sea, so bring a coat to avoid catching a cold. Sunglasses and power banks are a must!
Finally, when you're out and about, pay attention to safety!

Looking for a place where you can see the sea and the sunset?
Why not go to Changdao!
For just 45 yuan, you can take a boat to the fairy island of Changdao at sea.
The joy of watching the sunset lies in
You can't be sure that you will definitely see the sunset today,
Nor can you know what color the afterglow will be today.
When you climb to the top of the mountain,
You no longer have to take videos and type at the same time saying,
'The sunset is really beautiful, we must come to see it together next time',
Instead, you run hand in hand with them along the shores of the orange sea,
The sound of the waves, the wind, and the whispers in your ears,
Everything is beautiful.
🚉 Transportation guide: Private cars cannot go to the island, there are tourist buses and public buses on the island that can reach the scenic area, and shared cars can also be rented.
🏨 Accommodation recommendation:
Changdao is divided into South Changshan Island and North Changshan Island, connected by a bridge. The pier is on South Changshan Island, where facilities are more complete and it's convenient for eating and staying. Jiuzhangya and Yueyawan are on North Changshan Island, where there are more fishermen, making it easier to feel the atmosphere of the local fishing community.
🍽 Dining recommendation:
Here you can taste the fresh flavors of abalone, sea urchin, crab, shrimp, sea snail, scallop, sea rainbow, oyster, and special braised fish, as well as other seafood giants. Really in Shandong! | How amazing is the most beautiful island in China rated by National Geographic!!!
| How amazing is the most beautiful island in China rated by National Geographic!!!. Daheshan Island in Changdao County, Yantai, Shandong, is an island surrounded by the sea. It not only has unique marine erosion landforms and natural scenery of strange reefs and strange stones, but also has a rich marine culture and fishing folk customs. It is also rated by National Geographic as one of the top ten most beautiful islands in China.
The key is that this is a very niche treasure island, because it needs to take a boat to get there, and there are only two shifts a day, so the number of tourists arriving daily is limited, which also ensures the comfort of the travel experience to the greatest extent.
1 Longzhuashan National Geological Park
As the saying goes, 'If you don't visit Longzhuashan, you don't count as coming to Changdao.' At the northernmost end of the island, there are five steep cliffs standing side by side, which are quite shocking. There are three must-visit spots in the park, namely 'Tianmendongkai', 'Juxiandong', and 'Haishi Zhandao'. Among them, 'Tianmendongkai' is the most spectacular, and the cave in the middle is like the 'Eye of Daheshan Island', which is very photogenic.
2 Towing Tail Beach
It's really a beautiful view that will attract you at first sight. The best viewing period is after the tide recedes, and the Towing Tail Beach reveals its full view. It's a scene that only exists in movies, but the sand on the beach is not fine sand, the particles are relatively large.
3 Beizhuang Site
This primitive village site, with its large scale, complete preservation, and rich remains, is rare in our country. It is another major discovery after the Banpo Lintong Jiangzhai in Xi'an, and is known as the Eastern Banpo by the archaeological community. It is currently also a national key cultural relic protection unit.
Address: Daheshan Island, Changdao, Penglai, Shandong
Transportation:
Self-driving-'Yantai Pengchang Passenger Port'-Take a boat-Daheshan Island
Dock day and night parking lot
Take a bus to 'Penglai Station'-Take a taxi-'Yantai Pengchang Passenger Port'-Take a boat-Daheshan Island
Tips:
1 The boat ticket for the trip to the island needs to be bought in advance, and the return ticket can be bought at the dock after arriving on the island; the departure time will be adjusted according to the weather, and you need to pay attention to the official information in real time;
2 Arrive at the port at least 30min in advance, and board the ship after security check;
3 Bring bread or steamed buns, you can feed the seagulls on the boat.

The scenic Changdao Port
Changdao Port is located in the Quezui Bay on the west coast of Nanchangshan Island in the south of Penglai District, Yantai City, northern Shandong Peninsula, facing the Temple Island to the west and Penglai City across the Temple Island Strait to the south.
The water area of Changdao Port is about 8700 square kilometers, with a total coastline of 146.14 kilometers. There are 10 inhabited and navigable islands. The Beicheng in the north is 23 nautical miles from the west corner of Laotieshan in Dalian, and the Nanchangshan Island in the south is 6.3 nautical miles from Penglai Corner.
Penglai District of Yantai City has 2 towns and 6 townships under its jurisdiction, located on Nanchangshan Island. Nanchangshan Island is the closest to Beichangshan Island and is connected by a dam, so Changdao Port is the hub for the entry and exit of materials and personnel in the entire region.
In addition, the five islands of Tuoji Island, Daqin Island, Xiaoqin Island, Nancheng Island, and Beicheng Island in the north of Nanchangshan Island are called 'North Five Islands', and the Temple Island, Xiaoheishan Island, and Daheishan Island in the west are called 'West Three Townships', collectively referred to as the North West Eight Islands. All the above-mentioned islands have built land-island traffic piers due to the needs of passenger and cargo transportation and tourism, mainly serving the personnel and material exchanges between islands and between islands and the mainland, most of which are 500-ton berths, and some have the ability to berth 1000-ton ships. In 2007, the total cargo throughput of the North West Eight Islands was 52.62 million tons, and the annual passenger throughput was 1.52614 million people, mainly island residents.

There are so many fun things in Yantai in December!!!
Really⁉️ Besides watching the snow, there are so many fun things in Yantai!||Notice❗ Yantai has started the 'snow nest mode'
Coming to Yantai to enjoy the snow scene, soak in hot springs, and taste delicious food is really super happy💕
There are also a lot of special ways to experience the winter in Yantai❄️
Slide down to unlock the correct way to open Yantai in winter⬇️
·
1⃣️Sea catching
Every December, many people in Yantai will go to 'catch the sea'🌊, dig clams, jade snails, and razor clams hidden in the sand and stones, and pick oysters and sea rainbows on the reefs. There are also sea intestines, crawling shrimps, razor clams and other seafood frequently 'visiting' the Yantai seaside, and the harvest is quite rich after a sea catching💓
·
2⃣️Sea fishing
Yantai Changdao sea fishing resources are rich, providing natural high-quality fishing grounds and meticulous services for many sea fishing enthusiasts every year🎣. Xu's flatfish, bass, toothed flounder and other fish are frequently hooked, small ones are three or two catties, and big ones are more than ten catties, the experience is full🐟
·
3⃣️Mountain climbing
Yantai not only has beautiful coastal scenery, but also lush mountains⛰️. Yantai has Yantai Mountain, Kunyu Mountain, Longkou Nanshan, Taishan and other famous mountains. Climbing mountains in winter can not only exercise the body, but also experience different scenery🧗🏻♂️
·
4⃣️Snow appreciation
Yantai is a famous 'snow nest'. As the name suggests, 'snow nest' is a place where the snow falls particularly large, and netizens therefore 'named' it-'Arctic Circle Yantai Branch Circle'. In recent years, the snow in Yantai has fallen year after year, and it is beautiful year after year. 'Come to Yantai to see the snow in winter' has gradually become a new city business card❄️

The unique geographical location allows Yantai to easily achieve seafood freedom in winter🦀: The oysters in autumn and winter are the most nourishing; the hairtail in winter accumulates a lot of fat in the body for hibernation, so the meat is thick and oily, and the taste is particularly good; razor clams, sea breams have also reached the most fat and delicious time✨

Long Island, also known as the Temple Island Islands and the Changshan Islands, is located on the east side of Penglai in the eastern part of the Shandong Peninsula. It consists of 32 islands and is affiliated to Yantai City. It is located at the boundary of the Huanghua Sea and is far away from Dalian. The interest in this island was a journey of a buddy from a few years ago, when he rode a bicycle and strolled along the coastline along the Shandong Peninsula. The last stop was Long Island, impressive. In addition to his legendary experience of "cycling", it is the windmills on Long Island and the seagulls that are not afraid of people.
It takes 1 hour by boat from Penglai to reach Long Island Pier. Although it was a holiday, the long island of Long Island was very leisurely. It took a long walk along the waterfront. Apart from a few seafood stalls, it was rare for even pedestrians to visit. At the moment when the tourists are smashing their heads, its really like The paradise is general.
Jiuzhang Cliff is the landmark of Long Island. The cliffs are steep, the waters are deep, the rocks are covered with rocks, and the lighthouse at the height reminds me of the ability of Hokkaido in If You Are the One.
ZIMO.
If you want to see two seas at a time, you must come here - the Yellow Sea and the Sea Interchange. The combination of the Yellow Sea and the Yellow Sea, although distinct, is not a straight line, and the color is different in depth, one side is dark blue, and the other side is light yellow, forming a "Tai Chi" spectacle. A "long tail", a sea of water and two worlds, clearly defined. And the waves are rushing all the year round, and the waves are as flat as the mirrors, but here they are like swords, as if the yellow sea is fighting.
The long mountain tail serves as the junction of the Yellow Sea and the Bohai Sea. The various pebble on the beach are piled up, and the shape is wide and pointed, curved and elegant. If you love her (he), then be sure to bring it here. Under the thin moonlight, you can also hold the sunrise and stand together, giving her a gentle, fragrant, long kiss.
Today's weather is not transparent, and the sunrise that I want is not photographed. It rises to a certain height and is completely blocked by the cloud. A little lost...
slow road Starting from the border of Huanghuahai, the entire slow guidance system has complete service facilities such as rest, navigation, landscape, bicycle rental and service area. The slow road with a total length of 99.9 kilometers runs along the original mountain and sea junction on the island. The plank road stands in the water. The left side is a graceful mountain peak, and the right side is the endless sea.
Long Island's "slow" is innate. In the past, Long Island fishermen were fishing when they were busy, woven into the net, and made a sunrise, and they had nothing to drink and have a good time. Gradually, Long Islanders are accustomed to slow life. They are not surprised when they are in trouble, and they have a degree of relaxation. This "slow road" is the landing of Long Island's "slow culture".
Ni_Leichu.
When the whole society advocated faster, higher and stronger, Long Island said "slow". In addition to the leisure and leisure accidents felt at the seaside, Long Island spent three years and completed a round-the-island slow-moving road in July this year, allowing people to experience a real slow life from the foot. The
slow track starts from the border of Huanghuahai. The entire slow-guide system has complete service facilities such as rest, navigation, landscape, bicycle rental and service area. The slow road with a total length of 99.9 kilometers runs along the original mountain and sea junction on the island. The plank road stands in the water. The left side is a graceful mountain peak, and the right side is the endless sea. I walked on the thick logs, blowing the sea breeze, listening to the sound of the waves hitting the rocks. It was really a moment, I forgot all the troubles in the big city. Congested traffic, bad haze, and every day I press the mortgage that I can't help but I often doubt what life means. I try to break free, but I can't escape. Because of this, Long Islands slow culture made me so obsessed, I enjoyed this life.
The slow road is just a symbol. In fact, you can experience a carefree and slow life everywhere on Long Island leisure vacation. Watching goggles during the day, fishing, eating friends in the evening, eating seafood, drinking in the fishing house, close to the sea... The night of the island, quietly, the waves gently shake the fishing boat, men and women, young and old, headrest with waves, exposed in sleep Sweet smile.
Long Island's "slow" culture can be seen everywhere, and "slow road" is just one of the epitome. On Long Island, you can experience the carefree slow life you want everywhere.

Time is fleeting, youth is not old, I am willing to collect slow time with you on Long Island.
