Ancient Ruins of Chellah
#cityscape
The ancient ruins of Chellah, Rabat’s fortified necropolis, are steeped in history and mystery. Wandering through the site feels like stepping into another world, with crumbling walls, overgrown gardens, and storks nesting on ancient pillars. The blend of Roman and Islamic ruins tells the story of Rabat’s past, and the peaceful surroundings offer a quiet break from the bustling city. It’s a beautiful, haunting place where you can feel the weight of centuries in every stone.

Beautiful place to visit, amazing

The ruins of Shera are located near the Royal Palace of Rabat. The ancient city of Shera was once a famous port city in the Roman era. It is also the site of the mausoleum of the Black Sultan Abu Hassan and Ai, and was listed as a national key cultural relic of Morocco in 1980.
"Shera" is meant to be "land". The ruins of Shera are the royal tombs of the ancient city of Shera. The ancient Roman-style countertops, the chanting houses, the Arc de Triomphe and so on are still visible in the classic architectural traces. Ancient ruins such as towers and release ponds still retain their original features, standing on the terrace overlooking the entire ruins of the Shera ruins. Nowadays it is really ruined. The ancient city of Shera was ruined in the Lisbon earthquake and can only be imagined in the ruins of the broken wall.
The ruins of the Shera must be imaginative, otherwise a pile of loess is hard to see. In the main hall of the ruins, there are many beautiful mosaic mosaics on the walls depicting the beautiful world in the eyes of architectural artists thousands of years ago. The world is really curious. A pile of broken stones for hundreds of years is a symbol of the capital of the country. The photos are priceless and historically priceless. Would you like to spend thousands of pieces here to see these precious stones?
