[2024 San Juan Stay] Travel Guide for Coco Grove Beach Resort, Siquijor Island (Updated Nov)
Hidden gem of the Philippines
Siquijor is my new favourite island in the Philippines. And further to that, Coco Grove Resort is one of the best places I’ve ever stayed. It is paradise - the facilities are top notch, and the staff are the friendliest people you’ll ever meet

Located in Siji Hall, the magical island of the Philippines, Coco Grove Beach Resort has its own private beach. There are three swimming pools inside, one of which is a spa pool with a jacuzzi. There are also three restaurants, and you can have dinner on the beachfront while watching the band performance while watching the sunset.

The best breakfast from my trip to Siquijor.
When we arrived at the hotel we were greeted but their welcome drinks (watermelon juice) It was so refreshing.
Then we had our breakfast by the beach. The beach is so clean and the service was a top notch! (Look at the picture! Besides of having nutritious foods, these will provide you the source of energy you need for your day trip around Siquijor)

The Philippines has a hidden gem of an island that 99% of people don't know about
💚 Siquijor is one of the most easily overlooked treasures among the Philippine islands
💚 It is the third smallest island in the Philippines, occupying only 0.11% of the country's land area
💚 The island boasts breathtaking natural beauty and tropical charm
💚 However, compared to other islands, there is very little information about it online
💚 Next, let's introduce this romantic island to everyone
🏨 Accommodation
1️⃣ When visiting Siquijor, you must stay at Coco Grove Beach Resort!! On the island, there are only Coco and other hotels; no other hotel can replace it!
2️⃣ The resort has its own private beach where you can snorkel right at the entrance, with rich underwater ecological resources. You can see colorful fish, starfish, and corals, and if you're lucky, even large sea turtles~
3️⃣ In addition, the hotel has facilities such as a sunset restaurant, swimming pool, gym, bar, and game room. All staff are very warm and friendly, always greeting you and willing to help with any requests.

✈ Transportation: The main way to get to the island is by boat from Bohol to Siquijor, with only one boat per day. If you have enough time, it is recommended to visit both Bohol and Siquijor together~
🖼️ Must-visit spots:
✅ Enchanted Balete Tree & Fish Spa: This over 400-year-old balete tree is one of the icons of Siquijor. Under the tree, there is a pond full of small fish where you can enjoy the scenery while having a fish spa
✅ Lazi Convent: This is the largest convent for women in the Philippines and one of the oldest convents in history
✅ Cambugahay Falls & Tarzan Swing: This is one of the most famous natural attractions on Siquijor, with layers of turquoise waterfalls flowing into the lagoon below, surrounded by green trees, creating a fairy-tale atmosphere. To get to Cambugahay Falls, also known as the Milky Falls, you need to walk down 135 steps. The famous Tarzan swing is located here.
✅ Salagdoong Beach: This beach has the most beautiful jelly-colored waters on the island. The famous 10-meter diving platform is located on the rocks above the beach. Here, you can enjoy performances by divers from all over the world. This place is also one of the famous Instagram-worthy spots in Siquijor.
