Located near Xitou Village, Conghua, Guangzhou, on the Tropic of Cancer at an altitude of over 400 meters, it is built against the mountains and bamboo forests. It's not the kind of B&B that attracts attention with luxurious landscapes, but staying here gives you a sense of relaxation integrated with nature. There is a path in the B&B, about 100 meters along which you can walk into the bamboo forest on the mountain, where there are waterfalls and streams
🏡Private Hot Spring Villas
The rooms here all come with a private hot spring, and each one has a view of the bamboo forest/mountains. I chose room 004, a panoramic private hot spring loft. The first floor is where the hot spring pool is located. Initially, the online pictures didn't look appealing, but once I lay in the pool, I realized I could look up at the bamboo forest and listen to the cicadas while soaking♨️ The second floor has a large skylight with great lighting, lying here for tea or sleeping under the blue sky is very pleasant🍵 The large bed on the third floor faces the bamboo forest, and the space is relatively independent from the second floor, with a big white wall that can be used for projecting movies

The restaurant, lobby, tea room, and library are all in the same building. The tea room offers mountain view afternoon tea outside, and the restaurant provides breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The B&B chef goes to the village every day to buy fresh ingredients, and the housekeeper will confirm the menu with you in advance. You can enjoy fresh farmhouse dishes without going out. There is also an outdoor barbecue area next to the bamboo forest swimming pool.

Soaking in hot springs, stream trekking, and searching for waterfalls, it turns out that wasting time can be so joyful!
I am a typical J person, always making thorough plans before going out, and feeling at a loss when unexpected events force a change in plans.
Originally, I planned to go hiking in Conghua last weekend, but it started raining upon arrival, so I had to change plans and stay at a guesthouse to rest.
Unexpectedly, I stumbled upon a hidden gem of a guesthouse. I went from a J person to a P person in seconds, leisurely spending 24 hours, and wholeheartedly enjoying the joy of wasting time!

The guesthouse is located on the mountains near the Wuzhishan Scenic Area, and on the way there by car, I passed through the Liuxi River Forest Park, where I could admire the 'ethereal' forest scenery.

The entire guesthouse is built in a 'wild luxury' style, with Nordic-style wooden decorations and furniture visible everywhere in the restaurant, swimming pool, and other leisure areas.

That day, sitting on the semi-open terrace with the guesthouse's dog, waiting for the rain to stop while listening to jazz music on loop, felt super chill!

The residence is nestled in the mountains at an altitude of 432 meters, located above the Tropic of Cancer, surrounded by mountains, with the Liuxi River Forest Park to the left and Conghua Wuzhishan to the right.
Just beside the residence, a short climb along the mountain trail leads to a secluded secret space, where a silver ribbon of water weaves through the rocks, making it a great spot for summer camping.
The waterfall's water flows continuously from above, and the mist it splashes drifts with the wind, bringing a touch of coolness to the summer.
The residence has a total of 17 guest rooms, with 12 rooms in the main building and 5 in a separate villa. The rooms in the main building are simple and transparent, with a view from the window, luxurious amenities, and a great view. The first floor features private hot spring pools built along the stream, complete with small courtyards, where you can soak in the natural mountain springs to your heart's content.
In front of the residence, there is a swimming pool, a great place to find relief from the summer heat. The environment around the pool is very pleasant, with green mountains and fields surrounding it, allowing you to play in the water and breathe in oxygen, very healing.
