• Built in the mid-19th century (1868–1873) by architect Léon-Pierre Suys, the style combines Second Empire Classicism with Neo-Renaissance elements.
• It was built to reflect Belgium’s economic confidence after independence and to symbolize Brussels’ status as an emerging capital market.
• It was once the main stock exchange platform in Belgium until it merged into Euronext in 2000 and its functions gradually transformed.

• The exterior is majestic, like a mini version of an ancient Greek temple, and the carvings on the front stone columns and triangular pediments are impressive.

Today, La Bourse is no longer an active stock exchange center, but has been rebuilt into the "Belgian Beer World" and exhibition space. you can:
