Catching the tail of autumn
Early November is just in time for late autumn, and many leaves have turned completely yellow. Some leaves fly when the wind blows, and some fall off, leaving only dead branches. Fortunately, this trip was in time and caught the tail end of autumn. As in previous years, when I went to Arashiyama and Kiyomizudera Temple in Kyoto, Japan, at the end of November, I only saw dead branches and dead trees. When I arrived in Switzerland in early October, there were not many red leaves or yellow leaves yet, so if you want to see the autumn scenery, you must be sure of the time, otherwise it will be too early or too late. #100waysoftravel

My Favourite Pastry Store in KL 🇲🇾
#winhkflight
📍Kenny Hills Bakers
One of my favourite pastries place would be Kenny Hills Bakers. Was doing a solo trip to Kuala Lumpur and decided to have a little breakfast here in Kenny Hills Bakers. I went to their outlet in Desa Park City, ample parking spaces, easily accessible! The café has both indoor and outdoor seatings, love the wooden rustic retro decor of the store and the entire store is actually surrounded with greeneries, love it. The pastries are good as usual. I ordered pain au chocolate, which was great for breakfast! The croissant was nice and flaky on the outer layer, with crisp, while it’s fluffy on the inside!
I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

The Social @ Desa Park City
The Social @ Waterfront Desa Park City serves quality food. There are some entrance seatings for pets with big fans and it’s not too hot except when the weather is extremely hot. The opening hours are from 11.30am to 12am daily. Parking is easy usually on weekdays and in the mornings. There’s a lunch promotion going on at RM25.90 for a set of meal and it’s worth the price as it’s really tasty food.

Pet-friendly park, cute and furry babies everywhere
My friends decided to bring me to Desa Parkcity today to see playful and cute dogs, and it's the best walk I ever had!
There's so many people in the evening bringing their dogs and cats strolling, but mostly are dogs.
There's a playground for kids, also it's next to The Waterfront @ Parkcity where you can go shopping and get food!
I love how it's super friendly for everyone, very refreshing thanks to the trees planted - which were full of variety and also the big lake is very pleasant for our eyes ♡

Kamiga Japanese Cuisine at Plaza Arkadia
#createwithtrip
Bestie asked me out for lunch, decided to try out the Japanese Restaurant at Plaza Arkadia, Desa Parkcity.
Located within the Plaza Arkadia compound, it is one of the many international cuisine here. This Japanese Restaurant has a very relax and comfortable feel to it.
We arrived after rush hour lunch time, it was a little quieter. I love the ambiance of the restaurant, nicely renovated and the staff are very friendly and helpful. From the restaurant you can see the beauty of the whole Arkadia environment.
I ordered Salmon teriyaki with some side dishes. The quality of the food was good and it was within the reasonable budget of most people.
Will definitely be back in the future.

A different kind of township
#createwithtrip
Desa PARKCITY doesn’t need a lot of introduction these days, I won a lot of awards for excellence in township planning and comfortable living with Dog friendly parks and shopping.
Introducing Plaza Arkadia, within the Desa Parkcity is an excellent place for those who enjoy a different kind of setting especially in FDinning Experience.
Plaza Arkadia is located at Jalan Residen 3, Desa Parkcity, it is consisted of a few office and shop buildings combined together to create an alfresco feeling.
There are ample parkings at the basements and lots of choices for fine dining and restaurants of international Cuisines. The whole atmosphere is very inviting and you don’t feel intimidated by the concrete structure of office buildings.
Stronf Recommended. Love the place, will definitely be back to try out more restaurants here.

Sri Bintang Trail
this trail is becoming more popular each day because it is nearby. Bukit Sri Bintang is a hill and a patch of forest next to Desa Park City, close to Kepong in northern Kuala Lumpur. It is actually part of a more extensive forested area and separated by highways.
it is short but very enjoyable hike. around 90 minute. u can park near the shop houses and residential area near the entrance to the trail. This walk probably has some of the best views of any walk in the KL area. It is possible to see Petronas Twin Towers, KL Tower and even Batu Caves. u can also see people do gardening at the top. take as many pictures

Bukit Sri Bintang, Kepong
Bukit Sri Bintang is hill and a patch of forest next to Desa Park City, close to Kepong in northern Kuala Lumpur. It is actually part of a more extensive forested area which extends south as far as Bukit Kiara and is separated from this area by the E1 Lebuhraya Utara-Selatan.
The twin peaks of the hill, highest point around 150 metres above sea level, were shaved of forest some years ago for the construction of pylons and high voltage power cables. Now the scar has healed leaving pleasant grassy vegetation and great views over the city.

Udon, Yuzu, and Champion Brews: A Perfect Stop at 103 Coffee!
#malaysiatrip
During my trip to Malaysia, I discovered 103 Coffee at Waterfront ParkCity, and it quickly became one of my favorite café experiences! Known for their 6-time Malaysian Latte Art Champions and a World Latte Art Champion, this café offers more than just coffee—it’s an experience crafted with passion and skill.
I ordered the Yuzu Kosho Honey Butter Udon, which was a delightful mix of flavors. The udon was served with a konbu ginger soy sauce base, paired with smoked duck bacon chips, Napier egg yolk, sesame seeds, kizami nori, ichimi tongrashi, and a heavenly honeycomb butter topped with yuzu kosho. Every bite was a perfect balance of savory and citrusy notes, and it was easily one of the best udon dishes I’ve ever tried.
To go with it, I had the Honey Bear, a unique coffee creation made with cold brew coffee, honey, yuzu, and Oatside foam. The refreshing hint of yuzu paired beautifully with the richness of the coffee, and the subtle sweetness from the honey made it incredibly smooth and enjoyable. It was both energizing and refreshing—a drink I’d come back for in a heartbeat.
The cozy, welcoming ambiance of the café added to the experience, making it the perfect spot to relax and savor great food and coffee. If you’re in Malaysia, don’t miss out on this gem. Whether you’re a coffee enthusiast or a foodie, 103 Coffee delivers an unforgettable dining experience crafted by champions!

Café hopping in Kuala Lumpur
#cafe #coffee
In love with coffee and around Kuala Lumpur?
These are some of my favourite cafes around Kuala Lumpur (North).
1. Crude Room (Taman Bukit Maluri)
The interior is totally a very unconventional one, industrialist, brutalist, bare walls, dim lights, great coffee, and the owners are really great and friendly! Do try their brownies and honey madeleines! The husband makes them!
2. Kenny Hills Coffee (163 Mont Kiara)
Branches in many places but I personally like this one. Not to be confused with Kenny Hills Bakers, which is under the same company but serves more brunch food and pastries. This one focuses more on specialty coffee beans, do try their seasonal beans! And of course, Kenny Hills’ famous, the peach strudel!
3. Qing.Ka-ru-i Coffee (Taman Sri Bintang)
A cozy place that serves great coffee and something called omakase coffee. You tell them what would you like (sweet, cold, fizzy, sour, etc.) and they will make up a special coffee (or even non-coffee) based drink for you! They also have desserts like tiramisu, herbal jelly, etc. and some food like spaghetti. Great place to unwind if you’re near the Sri Bintang Hiking Trail after a hike!
4. 103 Coffee (The Waterfront Desa Parkcity)
This cafe also has many branches but I personally prefer this over the one in APW Bangsar. This one is much bigger, has plenty of seating, and has meals too! Their latte art is always the best as I always request for specific arts (like the pig). Do also try their seasonal beans, and their coffee special creations (coffee mocktails).

Nice living at Desa Park City
We had a trip to desa park city, and for anyone whose looking to move to Kuala Lumpur (which we are, someday) I really recommend this are. It’s really a nice place. It has 2 entries and exits only, gated and a very safe place. You will see many family with dogs and nice parks with lakes and many nice places to eat and just hang out with friend. You’ll forget that you’re in Kuala Lumpur. Everything just looks much greener and nicer. There’s also a very nice international school. I’m really impressed!

Desa Parkcity Waterfront
#winhkflight
Desa Park Waterfront is a beautiful place near a . It has green trees and pathways for walking or biking. People often come here to relax or exercise. There are benches where you can sit and enjoy the view of the water. Children like to play in the open spaces, and families often have picnics here. Sometimes, there are events like outdoor concerts or food festivals. Now, Waterfront has Hari Raya decoration to add a festival atmosphere to the place. Overall, Desa Park Waterfront is a lovely spot for spending time outdoors with friends and family, surrounded by nature and the calming sound of flowing water.
I want to travel Hong Kong to visit the local shopping mall.

FF-20, Desapark City, The Waterfront, 5, Persiaran Residen, Desa Parkcity, 52200 Kuala Lumpur
Visited this Hong Kong style restaurant at Desa Parkcity for lunch and it was great! The restaurant has both indoor (air conditioned) and outdoor seatings, we were seated indoor as it was really hot during the afternoon. The outdoor seatings have great views overlooking the park with comfortable seatings and it was also pet friendly! The interior was minimal yet classy. The ambiance was great and lively, staffs were friendly and polite. Food was served pretty quickly and warm! Love the char Siew that we ordered, which was flavourful and enveloped in delicious thick sauce.
I wish to travel to Hong Kong for the food!

Waterfront at Desa Park City, Kuala Lumpur 🇲🇾
#2024wish
We were looking for a place to do our morning stroll and decided to check out Waterfront in Desa Park City since we were in the vicinity. It was a huge park and it’s definitely kids-friendly as there is a huge playground 🛝 with many facilities available. Our little one had a fun time running around in the park and exhausted himself! The park is well maintained and clean.
In 2024, I want to visit Tuileries Garden in Paris !

📍The Waterfront @ ParkCity
5, Persiaran Residen, Desa Parkcity, 52200 Kuala Lumpur
One of my favourite place to visit when visiting Kuala Lumpur would be The Waterfront located in Desa ParkCity. Like the name, it’s a park city (a huge park in the middle of concrete jungle). This is a place where you get all of the restaurants, cafes and bars, groceries shopping, a lake whereby you get to jog around! It’s all in a place, how convenient! Also, it’s a pet-friendly place, most of the restaurants are also pet-friendly. Visited during Christmas time and the park was beautifully lit up and it was such a fun and positive experience! They have some pop up stores at the front too! Some of the restaurants that I’ve tried so far was all great:
1. Dim Dou Duck (dimsum was good and delicate)
2. Jibby by The Park (posh and aesthetic place to be!)
3. Eatalia (authentic Italian cuisine, great for sharing)

#weekendgetaways
If you are looking for:-
1. A pet-friendly park,
2. A place that packed with pet-friendly restaurants, stores,
3. Meanwhile fulfilling parents grocery wish
There is no other better place than Desa Parkcity Waterfront!
Some walk the kids, some walk the fur-kids, some run and jog for weekend exercises, this is the place where you can witness it all. The crowd is massive over the weekend, do remember to come early and probably you could rent a bicycle for a ride in this beautiful park.
Our all-time favourite spot will be Jibby By The Park, usual order would be Margherita Pizza and Sweet potato fries, sit down enjoy the peaceful moment, escape from the busy city life.
**Psst! If Desa Parkcity Waterfront parking is full, you can also park at Arkadia with plentiful of indoor parking, just a 5-10mins walk between the two places in this area.

A chill weekend at Desa Park Waterfront🚗
#malaysia
Desa Park Waterfront is a retail entertainment centre that located 20 minutes away from the city centre of Kuala Lumpur by driving. Not a famous attraction for foreign tourists but it’s a hot chilling spot for local residents or those who staying within the KL area.
I must have to mention there is a beautiful park around the lake which is perfect for a stroll and exercise. As a pet-friendly place, people also like to bring along their dogs to enjoy the park together with other park users. However, it is strictly requested the dog owner to take the waste disposal to ensure the park cleanliness and keep their dogs on a leash!!! If you are a dog lovers, you must come here as you will get to see many breeds!!
Other than park, there are local markets selling clothes, honey beer, jewelries and some handmade items. The price is not so cheap but the item might be unique!! If you are hungry, just choose a restaurants to enjoy your lunch or dinner because there are many options here! Not to mention there are plenties of dessert cafes here such as Jaslyn Cake and Kenny Hills.
For book lovers, get your book exchange here if you do not want to waste too much money to keep buying a bew book and the book exchange corner is just located 1 floor up from the entrance.
