Yes, it was the slide of the log cabin that caught my attention, and I booked it a month in advance.

The hotel is located in the Shennongjia Forest District, close to the Yeren Valley scenic area. It operates independently with a section of homestays and another area open to the public. There were many locals visiting when I went.

The rooms are of two types: one is a log cabin with a large bed, and the other is the kind I booked, a double-decker detached log cabin with a slide.
The rooms are on two floors, with a large bed on the first floor and a standard room on the second floor. The inconvenience is that there is only one bathroom on the first floor, which is not very convenient for two families to stay.

26 homestay tree houses are scattered along the 'Z' mountain road, nestled in the natural scenery like nests in the forest. Everything here unfolds in the most natural way, interpreting the new form of ideal exile for contemporary people. The area has been restored to its green state, following the natural terrain, planting trees where suitable, and grass where suitable. At the same time, local stone, logs, and gravel materials are used to ensure the natural ecology of the project, using equal-sided ditches, streams and other facilities to restore the site's water retention capacity, with a low-maintenance, sustainable plant creation concept throughout.
