Historical Origin
Beijing Dongyue Temple was built in the Yuan Dynasty, and was funded by the Xuanjiao Grand Master Zhang Liusun and his disciple Wu Quanjie. The main god is the Taishan God Dongyue Emperor, which is the largest Taoist temple in the North China region of the Taoist Zhengyi School.
Architectural Features
