Wuzhou Longmu Temple
Wuzhou Longmu Temple~ The tallest Longmu sacred statue in China is 38 meters high. The Wuzhou Longmu Temple was built in the early Northern Song Dynasty. It is a millennium-old ancient building, built to commemorate the female leader of the Baiyue ethnic group in southern China during the Warring States period, known as 'Longmu'. Covering an area of over 5,000 square meters, it houses the tallest Longmu sacred statue in China at 38 meters, and is acclaimed as the premier Longmu temple in China.
Longmu Temple is the most famous and spiritually significant temple in Wuzhou City. Admission is free for locals, while visitors from other places pay 28 yuan. Seniors over the age of seventy are admitted for free, and there is a separate parking fee!
Upon entering the temple, you will see a large banyan tree and a flock of white pigeons, a sight that is quite soothing to the heart! In fact, you only need to worship at the temple near the main entrance (next to the public toilet), as the buildings on the mountain were constructed later to expand the scenic area and attract more tourists. The mountain is not very high, and climbing it is effortless. To be honest, I see many tourists visiting even on weekdays, which shows that this temple is indeed significant for the city! The iconic structure of the Longmu Temple is the Longmu sacred statue on the mountain top, and many people come specifically to take photos and check in!
Actually, there is a Longmu Temple in almost every city, and locals in each place claim that their city's Longmu Temple is very efficacious. This is a matter of personal belief. A friend told me that you have to worship continuously for three years to see any effect, which I find surprising! Generally, photography is not allowed in temples, but I personally don't care. I even think that the temple should thank me for promoting it online!

Visiting the Longmu Temple in spring is an experience you can't miss when traveling in Guangxi
The Longmu Temple is really a sight to behold! Hey friends! 👋 Spring is approaching, have you thought about where to go for a trip? Today, I want to recommend a super beautiful place—Longmu Temple in Guangxi! Not only does it have ancient and exquisite architecture, but also breathtaking flower seas, making it a paradise for photography enthusiasts and flower-loving squads! 📷🌼
1️⃣ The highlight of Longmu Temple is, of course, the various majestic halls, such as the Longmu Hall, Guanyin Hall, and Sanqing Hall... Just hearing their names inspires awe. Here you can make a wish, and who knows, it might just come true! 😉
2️⃣ Don't forget about the surrounding sea of flowers. Spring is when the flowers are in their most fierce competition for beauty. Take out your phone and snap away, making your social circle green with envy! 🏞️
3️⃣ Tired from walking? Local snack stalls are waiting for you. While eating delicious local snacks, you can immerse yourself in the rich local cultural atmosphere—perfect! 🍜
The best time to travel is, of course, spring. It's not too cold or too hot, and the flowers are in full bloom. What are you waiting for? 🌤️
Here comes the travel suggestion! Spend the morning of the first day exploring the temples and the afternoon tasting the food; on the second day, you can continue your adventure journey to the Xishan Scenic Area or Zhongshan Park. Remember to apply sunscreen, the sun is no joke! ☀️
Keep these tips in mind: book tickets in advance, visit quietly, cherish cultural relics, take sun protection measures, and maintain environmental hygiene. Do all these, and you'll be the brightest star! 🚻
All in all, Longmu Temple in Guangxi is definitely the top choice for a spring outing. Are you ready to embrace this visual feast? Tell me about your travel plans!

Special Forces Wuzhou Extreme One-Day Tour~
Check-in route: Longmu Temple → Arcade → Ming Dynasty Governor of Guangdong and Guangxi
I managed to check in a few of Wuzhou's attractions to the extreme, as they are all in one area, which is convenient because there's no need to rush around.
Longmu Temple is quite interesting to visit, with incense mist swirling everywhere, and the golden statue of the Dragon Mother is also very majestic. However, I heard that it is more efficacious to pray for marriage and children, so I only tied a blessing band and did not kneel to worship.
Next is the arcade, which is also a characteristic attraction of Wuzhou. It feels like the pace of life of the grandparents is slow and leisurely, which brings back memories of living with my grandmother in the countryside when I was a child.
Finally, I visited the Ming Dynasty Governor of Guangdong and Guangxi, which seems to be a newly built attraction. It introduces the related history of the governor, with three buildings to visit: the governor's office, the military commander's office, and the garrison command. To be honest, I'm not very interested in imitation ancient buildings, but the ticket is only one yuan haha, so there's not much to complain about.
The regret is that I heard that the most beautiful Baiyun Temple is also nearby, but due to time constraints, I couldn't go to see it, just like that, goodbye Wuzhou

🏨The accommodation is near the arcade, very convenient, and you can see the river from the hotel upstairs. The light and scenery are quite good, but it's a bit noisy at night

😭Swept a small electric vehicle down from Baiyun Mountain, saw a beautiful sunset and sunset on the road to Longmu Temple, and was healed!
PS:①The Governor's Mansion, Longmu Temple, and Baiyun Mountain are connected. We bought postcards for stamping at the Governor's Mansion and stamped them at these three places
②For the stamp of Longmu Temple, remember to go to the ticket office at the east gate! We walked to the side door from the Governor's Mansion and were told that the stamp was not at this door. We had to buy a ticket to go to another door to stamp! At that time, I felt a bit pitted, and the ticket seller was not friendly! After going in and visiting, I found out that it was unnecessary, and I could walk to the east gate outside!

👉Check-in food:
☑️Xiachong Dapaidang
Recommended for every sister who goes to Wuzhou! Taro baked bone! It's the degree that makes people want to brush again. And each menu is not expensive, the portion is very sufficient
☑️Hezhou Aunt Huang's Beef Intestine Acid
☑️Lingyin Temple
☑️Daoshui Hawthorn
I ate it at the ghost stall at the entrance of Dongzheng Road. It's sour and doesn't wipe
☑️Old brand Laolao fried things
There are peanut crumbs in the sauce, there are many people eating at night, but the serving speed is relatively fast
☑️Chaoji Noodle Shop
Wuzhou river noodles are really delicious, very thin, we also bought dry river noodles to take home
☑️Zhenwei Rice Noodle Shop
Gave two kinds of sauces, both are sweet, the brown sugar flavor is very strong, not suitable for our taste
☑️Liubao Tea
☑️Yuebei Restaurant
Need to queue + share tables, slow serving, dishes are sweet
☑️Liuzhou Kid Snail Noodles
Fried egg + fried duck paw + fried pig's trotters, really not smelly
☑️Guilian Fried Ice
The red bayberry flavor is surprisingly delicious
☑️Old Bo Tianluo
☑️Bingquan Soy Milk Shop
The soy milk has a pot-burning taste, it is recommended to order sugar-free, we ordered less sugar and it is a bit sweet
☑️Shuangqian Brand Turtle Jelly
A portion of 12💰 feels a bit expensive
I was scared by the turtle jelly on the menu for thirty or forty at first
〰️〰️
During the three days of New Year's Day, I encountered super good weather, the sky was blue and the breeze was gentle, riding a small electric vehicle through the old city, experiencing the slow life of Wuzhou, very suitable for coming over to relax on the weekend.
