Duck & Waffle & Breathtaking Views
The highest 24-hour restaurant in London, Duck & Waffle serves it delights all night long. Duck & Waffle is the highest restaurant in the capital and boasts an Instagram following the envy of many influencers
Duck & Waffle offers a playful take on traditional British cuisine with broad European influences emphasizing local, rustic, seasonal and sustainable ingredients. Dishes are designed for sampling and sharing and are complemented by an iconoclastic cocktail experience served in a vibrant atmosphere that welcomes guests 24/7.
On entering Duck & Waffle you’ll first find yourself in the bar, a surprisingly coherent textural mish-mash of Portuguese-inspired floor tiling; distressed wooden ceilings; extravagant chandeliers made from old wine bottles; and, of course, killer views, with the lights of London twinkling immeasurable feet beneath you. As you drink in these views, it would be reasonable to drink in something more thirst-quenching, too – whether from their lengthy wine list, or monthly-rotating roster of cocktails – current offerings include a Bullet-Proof Old Fashioned (tequila, butter, coffee, and salted caramel); and an Evergreen Mojito (rum, cinnamon, citrus, lemon tonic).
You can choose from a mix of internationally-inspired small sharing plates like ‘Nduja seared octopus; foie gras crème brûlée; and coal-roasted beetroot with tamarind before moving onto the larger – oven-baked cod; rib-eye for two; and of course the signature Duck & Waffle. Finish up with a chocolate fondant; lemon meringue; or raisin loaf with cereal milk custard… #london

Sunset dinner at Duck & Waffle
Visited London many times but never tried this place out until my first visit after the pandemic. The food and service was amazing, especially compared to Aqua Shard (see my earlier post). I loved the fact that they had gluten free waffles on the menu and it was actually done very well! I’m not usually a fan of duck either but the duck was really yummy. The codfish was also cooked to perfection and the view at sundown was pretty amazing. With the right angle, you could see the Gherkin 🤣 There’s also a Japanese restaurant downstairs which I haven’t tried. #duckandwaffle #london #food #foodie #dinner
