This is the ultimate nanny-level travel guide to Chengdu!
For those who are visiting Chengdu during the National Day holiday, here is a super comprehensive travel guide! 📣
If you happen to be in Chengdu during the holiday and come across this guide, be sure to save it and choose some places you are interested in to visit.
🔺East Suburb Memory:
It has to be said that Chengdu has so many fun and delicious places to visit. 🕌East Suburb Memory is a great place to hang out, with trendy shops, coffee bars, restaurants, markets, art galleries, small theaters, and various photo check-in points.
🔺Mi Lake Ecological City:
Workers really want to escape from the bustling city, Mi Lake Ecological City is perfect for a light vacation. The place is filled with a fairy tale atmosphere, and autumn is full of fairy tale atmosphere! There are many places on the island where you can spend a day, suitable for walking, gathering, picnicking, and taking pictures. It won't disappoint you! By the way, the Wild Country on the island in the park! You need to take a boat to get there, with more than 100 cottages, a real fairy tale village~
🔺Lingyan Academy:
This place around Chengdu that I have been keeping secret for a long time⛩
Hidden in the deep mountains, the ancient temples, streets, academies, and tea houses are all quiet and peaceful. Walking through the Lingyan Ancient Street, known as the small Jiufen of Chengdu, you can reach the academy and ancient temples. Walking on the long stone steps, the towering ancient trees on both sides seem to tell stories about the years, quiet and long. 🌳>Behind the ancient temple, there is a forest, the ground under the trees is covered with green moss, as if walking into the forest of a thousand years.
🔺Yangtian Nest Giant Panda:
Help! This is the softest giant panda I have ever seen🐼 lying on the Dujiangyan Square in Chengdu. Taking selfies leisurely! The interpretation of lying win is incisive. The chubby arms are super cute from every angle‼️
🔺Wenmiao Street:
🏯An old street favored by time, with retro radios, black and white TVs, dressing mirrors, etc. placed on both sides of the street, half romantic and half worldly, it is not an exaggeration to describe it. 🔺Each one tells a story of that era~ There are many coffee shops, guest houses, and dessert shops hidden here.

Life advice! If you come to Chengdu, you must see this art exhibition before you leave
This is probably the most shocking art exhibition I have seen this year. The 'waterfall' that howls from all sides, playing the piano in a world full of flowers, watching the aurora and waves on the beach, meeting mythical beasts in the forest, traveling through the cold and strange wormhole, walking in it, as if the power of the whole world is rushing towards me!
This immersive digital art exhibition themed 'ETERNAL NATURE', created by the globally renowned digital design company d'strict, truly integrates vision, hearing, and smell perfectly, and the 5000 square meter super large exhibition hall also gives people more imagination space.
✔︎ 'Waterfall': Before entering the exhibition area, you can hear the deafening roar of the waterfall. The waterfall pours down one by one in the super large space, especially when you look up under the waterfall, it feels like you are there.
✔︎ 'Blooming Flowers': It's like entering Monet's garden, full of camellias and fallen leaves. You can walk into the house in the middle and play the piano under the moonlight.
✔︎ 'Beach': I dreamt back to the Arctic Circle, the waves of the Arctic Ocean washing the shore, and the aurora dancing in the distance, with meteors passing by from time to time.
✔︎ 'Wormhole': It's like being in the universe, crossing the latitude and heading to another world.
✔︎ 'Sun': It's like walking towards the sunset, the sun burned red is eternally standing there, any casual shot will be a silhouette blockbuster.
✔︎ 'Forest': The god deer of spring, the giant dragon of summer, the phoenix of autumn, the white tiger of winter, the seasons change, and the cycle never stops.
✔︎ 'Waves': The surging waves hit again and again, as if they could really rush out of the screen, sitting on the ground and feeling, the sound and image make people fall into silence.
✔︎ 'Garden': From the Renaissance to symbolism, there is the beauty of architecture, the beauty of oriental colors, and the 30-minute screening is absolutely intoxicating!
✔︎ 'Stars': The brilliant lights and mirrors are combined to form a very dreamy picture.
✔︎ 'Panda': Walk into the life of the panda, you can sketch here and leave this beautiful memory.
Each work is worth your slow appreciation, it's not too much to stay for a whole day, and the ladies who like to take pictures will definitely love it here, it's especially good for taking pictures!

Step into the Eastern Suburb Memory of Chengdu: A perfect combination of industrial style and artistic style.
The Eastern Suburb Memory is located in Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan Province. It is a city park that integrates industrial sites, cultural creativity, and leisure and entertainment. It originated from the Chengdu State-owned Red Light Electron Tube Factory in the 1950s, which was one of the 156 projects aided by the Soviet Union. Over time, this area has been transformed into a cultural industry park, aiming to retain industrial characteristics while combining with the cultural and creative industries to create a music industry base.
The main attractions of the Eastern Suburb Memory include the Eastern Suburb Memory Museum, Industrial Culture Square, Starlight Wall, Chengdu Stage, Locomotive Square, JJ-5 Aircraft, and "Panda and the World" Theme Square. These attractions not only show the history of the eastern suburbs of Chengdu, but also provide a rich cultural experience.
The architectural feature of the Eastern Suburb Memory is "repair the old as the old, old house new use", which combines industrial aesthetics and modern commercial building functions, and is compatible with the office buildings aided by the Soviet Union in the 1950s, the office buildings in the early 21st century, and multi-storey factories. The industrial chimney pipeline creates an artistic atmosphere of nostalgia and fashion in the Eastern Suburb Memory.
In addition, the Eastern Suburb Memory is also an important gathering place for cultural and artistic activities, often holding various music performances, art exhibitions, and cultural activities, becoming a new cultural landmark in Chengdu.
If you plan to go to the Eastern Suburb Memory, you can reach it by various means of transportation, including Metro Line 7 to University of Technology Station, Metro Line 8 to Eastern Suburb Memory Station or Shanbanqiao Station, and multiple bus lines. The Eastern Suburb Memory is open to the public for free and is a good place for family outings.

CNY 68 per person. The beautiful rice in Chengdu has already reached the next level...
It's not Jeju Island... it's Chengdu! PiPiKOO is located on the second floor opposite the Chengdu Wall in the East Suburb Memory. It's a cute and lovely little canteen. Sisters who like beautiful rice must go and have a try (it's also good to eat alone)
🥣Recommended salmon curry set meal and beef tartare set meal (the rice balls are so cute), the plating and hand-painted menu are exactly the same, it looks good and tastes good~
🥧Sisters who like pancakes can make an appointment in advance (it takes about 30 minutes to make on site), salty and sweet, soft and fragrant (eat it), 🍧we also ordered spicy stewed lamb and shaved ice (very cute), both are good~

🇨🇳A day trip in Dongjiao Memory, Chengdu
#solotrip
During my solo trip to Chengdu, I spent a day visiting 东郊记忆 (Dongjiao Memory). It was a captivating experience, blending urban exploration with moments of personal reflection. This transformed industrial area, now a vibrant cultural hub, perfectly caters to a leisurely day of exploration with its unique mix of history and modernity.
As I wandered through the revitalized factory buildings, now housing a variety of boutique shops and eateries, the area’s industrial past melded seamlessly with contemporary artistic elements, creating a photogenic backdrop for a solo adventurer.
⭐️⭐️⭐️
Among the highlights was my visit to OldSpeakFactory, a café that stood out with its rustic, industrial décor and exceptional coffee. Enjoying a cup of their expertly crafted brew while soaking in the ambiance offered a perfect pause in my day. 🥰
The shopping at 东郊记忆 was equally rewarding. I explored Aerism, known for its minimalist apparel that merges traditional Chinese aesthetics with modern fashion trends. Another noteworthy stop was 江南先生, offering stylish and distinctly Chinese menswear. These stores not only provided a glimpse into the local fashion scene but also an opportunity to pick up unique pieces unlike anywhere else.
东郊记忆 is ideal for solo travelers seeking a blend of cultural immersion and personal space. The combination of historical architecture and modern lifestyle elements encourages you to take your time and enjoy each moment at your own pace.
东郊记忆, with its relaxed vibe and creative spirit, is a must-visit for anyone looking for a solo adventure in an urban setting.

The Epicurean Nomad
Long-lost Chengdu, East Suburb Memory.
Chengdu in September, the sky is like a washed sapphire, clear and deep, the sun gently sprinkles on the ancient city wall, giving the city a faint golden glow. The long-lost East Suburb Memory, on such a bright day, once again set foot in, it seems to be a gentle invitation of time.
Walking in this familiar neighborhood, every step is stepping on the rhythm of memory, but surprisingly found that it has quietly changed its new clothes. Those old factories that used to be, now have changed, become the palace of art and culture, graffiti walls tell the story of youth, coffee shops are filled with melodious jazz, every corner is full of unique charm and vitality.
Some days have not come, the change is amazing. The hustle and bustle of the past and the silence, here intertwined into a vivid picture, can not help but sigh at the magic of the years and the vitality of the city. I like this change, it is not only the transformation of physical space, but also the touch of the soul, is a tribute to the past, but also the expectation for the future.
Here, you can feel the slow flow of time, but also capture the pulse of the city. East Suburb Memory is no longer just a place, it has become a bridge connecting the past and the present, so that everyone who returns can find their own touch and belonging. The wind in September, gently blowing, with a hint of coolness and comfort, as if to tell us: every reunion, there are new stories waiting to start.

The current situation in Chengdu, help one if you can
Sisters planning to go to Chengdu this year✨, this guide is safe to rush!!
The first time I came to Chengdu, it was really a pitfall not to have a good strategy❌
Let me share some thoughts on my trip to Chengdu... to give you some references
🌈Tour route
🔸DAY1: IFS Center - Taikoo Li - Chunxi Road - Wangping Street - Dongmen Bridge - Jiuyan Bridge
🔸DAY2: Giant Panda Base - Wenshu Monastery - Kuanzhai Alley - Kuixing Lou Street - Wuhou Shrine - Jinli
🔸DAY3: East Suburb Memory - Construction Road - Panda Tower - People's Park - Yulin Road - Twin Towers
⚠️Pitfall avoidance guide
✔Chengdu Museum is free of charge, but there is a limit on the number of visitors, remember to book online in advance
✔Wuhou Shrine requires an admission fee, if you are not interested in the Three Kingdoms culture, it is suggested not to go, just take pictures outside
✔Kuanzhai Alley is worth a visit, but it is not recommended to buy things inside, as the cost-performance ratio is very low
✔Du Fu Thatched Cottage is also a popular spot, but there are many mosquitoes inside, be sure to bring mosquito repellent
✔The number of visitors to the Panda Base is really large, especially during holidays, the Panda Base is crowded with people, be careful when going out with the elderly and children
✔Do not go to Jinli during the day! It's crowded and not good-looking, go at night when it's brightly lit and beautiful
✔Taking photos with the panda on the top floor of IFS requires queuing, remember to allow extra time! If you don't want to queue, taking photos from downstairs is also an option
✔Chengdu's snacks are everywhere! But the further you go into the alleys, the tastier the snacks become!
✔Do not trust the one-day tours next to Chengdu's scenic spots, and many of them are scams
✔In People's Park, many masters with tools will ask if you want ear picking, but it is still recommended to go to a more professional and hygienic ear picking shop
✔Do not schedule your itinerary too full. Chengdu is a very leisurely city with a slow pace of life, enjoying the local atmosphere of Chengdu is very important

Summer in Rongcheng丨Eastern Suburb Memorye
Eastern Suburb Memory is Chengdu's most successful cultural and creative park, composed of multiple art districts. It retains the old style while integrating industrial aesthetics and modern commercial architectural functions. It hosts themed trend exhibitions, blending the life of old factory buildings with the modern fashion art atmosphere, creating a bustling scene that transcends time and space.
Eastern Suburb Memory, originally Chengdu Eastern Music Park, is a multi-cultural park that combines music, art, drama, photography, and other cultural forms, and is an industrial heritage-themed tourist destination. Located at No. 4, South Branch Road, East Second Ring Road, Chenghua District, Chengdu, Sichuan, it was transformed from the former state-owned Hongguang Electron Tube Factory into an international fashion industry park. The main feature of Eastern Suburb Memory's architecture is 'restoring the old as the old, reusing old buildings,' incorporating office buildings aided by the Soviet Union in the 1950s, office buildings from the early 21st century, multi-story factory buildings, and industrial chimneys and pipelines, creating an artistic atmosphere that combines nostalgia and fashion.
Eastern Suburb Memory is known as the 'West End of London in China.' Here, fragments of old times are scattered in every corner of the old factory buildings, and visitors gradually piece together the memories of the Eastern Suburb. In art, we glimpse the development of a city. The city's development has made the artistic style of the Eastern Suburb eclectic, and it has become another epoch-making new urban landmark in Chengdu.
