"Cadlao" which means "laughter" is the name of this lagoon located in El Nido Palawan
El Nido is a municipality on the northernmost tip of the province of Palawan, characterized by awe-inspiring natural beauty, from dazzling lagoons, white sand beaches, rocky islets, and towering limestone cliffs to glasslike waters teeming with abundant marine life. No wonder El Nido has earned nothing but praise from visitors and numerous accolades for being one the best island and beach destinations in the world.
El Nido encompasses over 40 islands peppered across the Bacuit Archipelago, each with its own unique geological wonders but the same natural majesty. Its surrounding waters are a stunning mix of blue-green colors, its palm-fringed beach pockets have powdery sands, and its marine-protected areas offer some of the best diving experiences in the entire Philippines.
Despite being a first-class municipality, the town still has a sleepy and laid-back atmosphere. But El Nido has also seen a rise of numerous establishments over the years, accommodating record-high tourist arrivals in the area of about 150,000 in a year. Accommodations here range from budget-friendly hostels and homestays and mid-range beachfront hotels to luxurious and exclusive resorts.
Puerto Princesa serves as the gateway to El Nido, and together with Coron, these three areas are the most-visited in Palawan.

Dreamland - El Nido
Today, I want to share with you a place that seems like a fairyland - El Nido!
🏝El Nido is a land favored by nature. The crystal-clear sea water, like blue gems, sparkles charmingly under the sunlight. The white sandy beaches are fine and soft, making you feel like you are walking on clouds.
🐠Diving underwater, you are surrounded by colorful corals and various tropical fish, as if you have entered a mysterious underwater world.
🛶Riding a crab boat between the islands, the sea breeze gently brushes your cheeks, bringing a touch of coolness. Each small island has its unique charm, some with steep cliffs, others with tranquil bays.
🌄In the evening, sitting on the beach watching the sunset, the sky is dyed orange-red, and the sea becomes gentle and peaceful.
💖El Nido not only has beautiful natural scenery but also hospitable locals. Here, time seems to stand still, and everything becomes so simple and pure.
🥘The food in El Nido is also something not to be missed. Fresh seafood and sweet fruits leave an unforgettable taste.

Palawan, Philippines - A Tropical Paradise
I recently had the pleasure of visiting the breathtaking island of Palawan in the Philippines, and I must say, it exceeded all my expectations. From its crystal-clear turquoise waters to its lush green jungles, Palawan truly is a tropical paradise.
El Nido, another gem of Palawan, stole my heart with its postcard-perfect beaches and limestone cliffs. I spent my days hopping between small islands and lagoons, snorkeling in vibrant coral reefs, and basking in the sun on powdery white sands. The views were simply breathtaking, and it felt like a dream come true.
Palawan also offers a wide range of activities for adventure seekers. I had the opportunity to go zip-lining through the lush forest canopy of Ugong Rock, which was an exhilarating and adrenaline-pumping experience. Trekking through the Tabon Caves, known for their archaeological significance, allowed me to connect with the rich history of the island.
The hospitality of the locals in Palawan is truly heartwarming. Everywhere I went, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine kindness. The people of Palawan take great pride in their culture and are always ready to share their traditions and stories.
As for the food, Palawan delights the taste buds with its fresh seafood delicacies, such as grilled squid and succulent prawns. The local markets are a treasure trove of exotic fruits, and I highly recommend trying the famous "balut," a Filipino delicacy of a developing bird embryo.
In terms of accommodation, Palawan offers a wide range of options to suit every budget. From luxurious beachfront resorts to cozy guesthouses, there is something for everyone. I opted for a beachfront cottage, allowing me to wake up to the sound of the waves and enjoy the stunning sunsets right from my doorstep.
In conclusion, Palawan is a tropical paradise that offers a perfect blend of natural beauty, adventure, and warm hospitality. Whether you are a nature lover, an adventure enthusiast, or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Palawan has it all. I can confidently say that Palawan has left an indelible mark on my heart, and I cannot wait to return to this island again.

Signing up for the half-day island hopping event at Aply Resort, Nabat Island is our first stop from the resort pier. As the name implies, it is the home of swiftlet, and many edible swiftlet nests can be found on the island. Only when the tide is low, a narrow white sand beach will be exposed around the island, and tourists will not go to the island. The water around the island is full of coral reefs and is considered an ideal venue for snorkeling and deep diving. Once the ship was docked near the nabat island, the people in the same boat jumped into the sea in all kinds of positions.
The snorkeling conditions here are as described in the guide, all over the coral reefs, but unfortunately there are fewer fish underwater. The limestone cliffs of Nabat are inserted straight into the sea and are the most common landforms around. In fact, the surrounding area of Apulia is like a microcosm of most of Palawan's landforms. On many islands in Palawan, there is almost no long and smooth sand beach; you can't see the magnificent seascape of autumn and water. This is because the Palawan coastline is very irregular and the terrain structure is rich and complex, so there is such an unpredictable landscape picture.
Second stop, Isla Blanca Island. Blanca is the white meaning of Spanish, and Isla Blanca Island is the name of White Sand Island. Baisha Island is owned by a Chinese near Taitai Town and is open to guests of the Aply Resort. Except for the visit, the island is uninhabited and has no commercial facilities. There are no basic facilities such as toilets. On the island are the guests who go to the hotel like ours. It can be said that it is usually an uninhabited island. Therefore, ecological protection will be done so well. The beach here has a particularly beautiful arc. I wonder if the first person who discovered this island was shocked by the beauty of the original ecology here? Once on the island, it seems that you should not enter a fairyland that has been forgotten.
Shirley Zhu.
Although the sand of Aini Beach is not perfect, but walking on the white sand, I can't help but praise the countless words.
There are ranks of small islands, and people are eager to think about it; the yacht shuttles and evokes the mood of visitors. Under the blue sky, in the sun, a beautiful and fascinating scene
Shibang Beach is a quiet beach behind the island of El Nido, which is rarely disturbed by tourists, nearby villages, It also appears to be quieter and more peaceful than anywhere else in the Philippines.
A few blue silky clouds are suspended in the blue sky, and the waves of the sea are rolling. The sea is so vast that until the Haiping line blends with the blue sky, its calm face will show a burst of smile.
Adam Yue.
The most beautiful moment of El Nido is its sunset time. When the sunset in the west gradually crossed the boulder in the distance and fell westward, it was the most beautiful time here.
When the first touch of the setting sun illuminates the distant horizon, I see hope outside the sky. It slowly retreats westward, as gentle as a pretty girl. The sun shook its light toward the lake, and the breeze picked up, and the fine waves jumped, stirring up the broken gold in the lake.
Adam Yue.
At the dinner of El Nido, my grandmother and I chose the only Chinese restaurant opened by Taiwanese on lio beach~
After dinner, my grandmother and I were lying on the wooden chair near the beach, only to see the stars in the sky. Dark, mischievously squinting, the ear came from the Philippine local singer to sing European and American songs. Filipino singers are famous in the world. There is a saying that "Filipinos don't talk, but they sing well; Filipinos don't walk, but dances well." The locals here have a slower pace of life. Visitors here are enchanted by the beauty of the cuisine, and they become lazy and become more enjoyable. With the singing, the sound of the waves and the scent of the surrounding tropical fruits, we returned to the room and we quickly fell asleep.
Coco Wang.
El Nido, which preserves the original sea scenery, clean air and sea water, mysterious canyons and caves, like the Pandora Planet, will never let you down.
The biggest feature on the island is the huge, towering limestone island scattered among the sea. From the perspective of the drone, the island of El Nido you see is definitely a paradise, sea utopia.
KRISTINA.
Among the many beaches near El Nido, Mary McGregor Beach is one of the quietest and most romantic. It has a beautiful view and convenient transportation. It is only a few kilometers away from the town and is a very convenient beach. However, although it has beautiful beaches, pure seas, and lush coconut groves, it is not very crowded. You can definitely find a quiet sand, sit quietly and enjoy the sun alone. Looking out to the beautiful sea view.
From the town, take a tricycle along the main road and follow the path along the mountain to the beach to reach this beautiful beach. The beautiful beach stretches for several kilometers. Although the sand is not very delicate, the surrounding area is surrounded by dense coconut trees, the sea is pure, and the distant islands are patchwork, still forming a very beautiful picture.
Seaside, there are occasional locals playing football on the beach. If you like, you can join them and enjoy a close encounter with the locals, feel their life, and have fun with them. On the shore, many teenagers play with the boat in the sea, and are very close to the sea.
This is the perfect place to enjoy the sunset. Sitting on the beach under the shade of the trees, watching the distant sun gradually across the sky disappearing between the distant island and the sea, is a romantic and warm experience. There are also a few small bars nearby, where you can also enjoy a drink and watch the beautiful sunset.
Adam Yue.
El Nido is the northernmost part of Palawan and refers to 45 islands in an entire region. Ai Nie, repeatedly recited, gentle and romantic.
NIDO is the meaning of the Bird's Nest. Because a large number of swallows nest here, the Xiban people named it El Nido in 1954. Later generations interpreted it as a love nest, and even said that they came from a trip. The lover will grow old. I dont know if many couples who come here for vacation come here.
Island Island is an island hotel, Tom Cruise and Nicholas Tse come here for a honeymoon. This is a relatively small group, and privacy is good. There is plenty of sunshine, and I am free to go out and sail out to the sea. I am tired of Ge Youzhen watching the sunset on the beach chair and ice drink. Unbelievable ~
meals unexpectedly rich and delicious, many arranged off-island lunches, dedicated to open a small island to hire people to take care of, also equipped with showers and play facilities, can be said to be very luxurious It is. If its not full of trips, take a nap on the beach chair after dinner, and then learn to learn surfboards and sailboats. Ill be able to spend the whole day on this temporary island for lunch!
Cookie.
