People all over the world know about these teraccotta statues which for me are absolutely fascinating and they just leave me speechless everytime I visit this place. I mean, just imagine the amount of hard work and effort making them? Just amazing. I was fortunate enough to visit this place thrice and everytime I go there there's that feeling of excitement, it never goes away. This is an imprtant treasure in Chinese Culture that must be shared to the people who are visiting China. How to get here: We went there by ourselves without a tour package so here it is - we took metro line 1 to Fangzhicheng Station then line 9 to Huaqing Pool station. Once you get ther hop on to lintong bus 602 to the terracotta museum. It will take you about 2 or 2 and half hours depending on where your starting point is. This was a once in a lifetime experience! We lucked out and went on a day where it was not busy at all! We were able to walk leisurely around the grounds and museum. We hired an English speaking tour guide for ¥200 and she was worth the extra money! She was great with my son and even got us into a free tea tasting! I highly recommend coming here for a chance to see Chinese culture up close! I have traveled all around China and this is by far my favorite attraction/cultural site. You can even meet the man who discovered the warriors and get a picture with him! We spent about 3 hours here and felt like we saw everything! #createwithtrip

The Terracotta Army pits are located about 1.5 km from the first Qin Emperor's mausoleum. They contain life-size clay soldiers, horses, and chariots which guard the tomb of the emperor. Metro from Bell Tower to the Terracotta Worriors! If you are looking for a cheaper way to go and see the awesome worriors, then look no further! On the 29th of September 2020, I embarked on a journey to see the famous worriors. At first when I enquired about the transportation I found out that a private car cost ￥400 return trip, DiDi (chinese app) cost ￥124 single trip, then me being me, I was convinced there was a better way to get there without leaving a big hole in my pocket, that's when I took the metro option, which was easy, fast and cheaper, it only cost ￥8 for a return ticket, and a bus cost ￥10 (make sure you have cash with you for the bus fare, they don't scan, lol) that was awesome, so Here are directions: First go the Bell Tower, between entrance 7 and 8, you'll find the metro station (Zhonglou Zhan) which is line 2, take the metro that goes to BERKEZHAN and transfer to line 1, there take the metro that goes to FANGZHICHENG ZHAN, this is the last station, when you arrive there, exit the metro station and outsude there is a bus station, then take bus no: 306 that will take you to the Terracotta worriors which also happens to be the last station for the bus, so relax and enjoy the road. When coming back, take the bus and it will drop you inside the bus depot/ station, which is next to the metro station, get on the metro and return home😉 refer to the pictures for clear directions and have fun!!! #tripaway#triplocal

this is truly a masterpiece if ancient history. I bought tickets on Trip.com and I got a little discount. I saw in the comments that the window to collect the tickets I'd aside of the normal ticket windows but eventually it appeared to be in another building yet next to the one with ticket windows selling physical tickets, so I had to look around but once I found the place the process was smooth and fast. The public transportation is great. I go by subway till the end of the metro line (blue) and then took the bus 306 (even though Baidu maps showed me different one but local people byolf me this one is better option) I paid Only 10 rmb in total to get to the mausoleum. it is huge so be prepared for 4 hours of jaw dropping experience. #terracottaarmy #xian #china #happynewyear

The road is too difficult to drive. 🌙At night (long hatred song) in Tsinghua Palace, I personally feel bad, I am sorry for this ticket. Tickets of any price cannot be selected. I bought them to get the ticket to know the number of rows. I bought 338 yuan in 18 rows. And personally, the performance is not very exciting. 🌚 It ’s too far away than the one I saw in Zhangjiajie (Charming Xiangxi). Charming Xiangxi is worth seeing! There are stories, plots and dubbing!

📍Terracotta Army Museum, Xi’an If you come to Xi’an and don’t pay a visit to Terracotta Army Museum, means that you haven’t been to Xi’an. Xi’an had been the capital of China of 13 dynasty. It was recognized as one of the great 4 ancient capitals of China. It was like once in a lifetime opportunity for me to see these amazing works. Highly recommended!
