#seoul In 2019, I had the opportunity to visit Ewha University in Korea. As I roamed about the vast university grounds for an hour, I couldn't help but wonder what it would be like to study there. Ewha University is well-known for being a prestigious universities in Korea and it is a private women’s university. Additionally, the street leading to Ewha University is also famous for women's fashion, with many trendy stores offering the latest styles and designs. (The clothing still looks new and even trend, unlike fast fashion!) Sadly, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, its glory has been somewhat diminished.

Ewha Womans University is designed by world renowned architect, Dominique Perrault. No doubts, look at those unique and magnificent facade!!🫨🫨 I was visiting this campus area with my friends and we just really felt amazed with the beauty of it.💞💞 And don’t forget about the beautiful contrast between the historic old original building and the new one🥰🥰. This campus is also the largest underground campus (from basement 6 to 1st floor) in Korea. During our free and easy tour in Seoul, we chose to tour around the streets and Ehwa Womens University. A slight rain that day but only for a while. Later part in the afternoon it was windy cool with bright daylight. Located at 52 Ewhayeodae-gil, Seodaemun-gu, Seoul, South Korea. This university is a private women's university. Founded by American Mary Scranton. “Ewha” means “Pear Blossoms”, a flower which is thought to have been near Scranton's home. After a short tour around the university, we walked down to the streets to have our lunch. There are many street shop selling toys, clothing and eatery stall here. Along the street you can see many teenage girls walking toward their university. It is a free tour no charges needed....only foods you got to pay. IJK.

Ewha Women's University is no longer restricted to females but it's still considered one of the best and top universities in Korea. It's also one of the oldest educational institutions, which is evidenced by the different older campus buildings that stand testimony of its time. These buildings are quite a rare sight for Korea, as they are in western style. The campus is lovely to walk through and admire the different artistic installations. It's especially lovely in the fall and spring. Just be respectful and mindful to the students as it is a place of learning after all. Today, I took the subway early in the morning specifically to visit Ewha Womans University. As soon as I exited the subway station, I was greeted by a road lined with ginkgo trees. I took many beautiful photos right by the roadside 😊 Walking along the road for about 200-300 meters, I reached the entrance of Ewha Womans University, which has a rather inconspicuous school sign. The university entrance is spacious, and the view is stunning 🤩 The European-style buildings are nestled among beautiful ginkgo trees and autumn leaves. Unfortunately, each building requires a card to enter, so I could only continue exploring the campus. I was surprised to find that the golden ginkgo trees are scattered throughout the campus, surrounding the hills and buildings, creating a picturesque scene 😊 It was definitely worth the visit.
