Fairy Caves - Bau, KCH
These Caves have a lot of Natural History million years it is beyond description by a ordinary character I have seen caves here in the Deep South East Land of Auz and these are A Class Of their Own.
The fascinations will never cease to amaze those who love and value the formations of Earth and its Caves a Natural Wonder that we still don't understand and most men cannot build such a natural wonder that keeps me spellbound.
Amazing cave to explore and discover!! Easy to access cave with some climbing but becareful of the slippery surface.. many bats inside with a breathtaking view!
Bring a head torch to get through darker areas with your hands free.
Fairy caves is 40 minutes drive from Kuching and one might say it’s easy access as you can hire GrabCars anytime. Do go & experience💕

Fairy 🧚♀️ Cave
Very beautiful cave to explore!
Fairy Cave (also known as Gua Pari) is an impressive show cave near the former gold mining settlement of Bau and about 40km from Kuching.
The Fairy Cave takes its name from a stalagmite structure at the entrance that is said to resemble a Chinese deity. Inside, you will notice the great contrasts between the light entering the cave and its shadowy darkness, along with hues of brown and grey of the rocks – highlighted by the rich green of the moss – which offer many opportunities for the avid photographer. The rock surface outside the cave is where rock climbers do their ascent of varying difficulties.

This cave needs more effort compared to Wind caves. There are many stairs and lots of climbings. But it is worth the effort as the view in the cave is very beautiful.
Taking another route through the darker inner trail led to a small opening to another side of the cave or mountain. It seemed to have less bats compared to Wind cave but it is much bigger. Expect at least 1 hour to complete all the trails.

Visiting Fairy Cave near Kuching is quite an experience! The cave itself is impressive with its towering chamber and unique limestone formations. It's accessible via a series of stairs and offers stunning views from the top. Inside, you'll find natural rock formations that resemble mythical creatures, giving it a mystical atmosphere. It's definitely worth exploring if you're in Sarawak!

It was a wonderful trip to Kuching Sarawak, we rented a car and drove across the cities.
At Bau, there's a beautiful cave named Fairy Cave, situated 1 hour away from the Kuching City Centre. The drive was pleasant with all the greenery along the road.
