Shaoguan Academy Palace was founded in the third year of Jingde of the Northern Song Dynasty (1006 AD) and was destroyed by fire during the Ming Dynasty's Wanli era. Shaoguan Journey
Shaoyang Tower is an antique building with rich cultural connotations and a unique architectural style, located at the summit of Lotus Mountain in Shaoguan National Forest Park. Shaoyang Tower has a long history. According to the pre-Qing 'General Records of Guangdong', Shaoyang Tower already existed in Shaoguan City at the beginning of the Tang Dynasty. The Tang Dynasty poet Xu Hun once wrote the seven-character regulated verse 'Shaoyang Tower Banquet at Night in Shaozhou', but unfortunately, the Shaoyang Tower mentioned in the poem was abandoned by the end of the Yuan Dynasty.
