With the wind, the falling cherry blossoms are like a romantic and healing dream. Feel the ripples of time as you wander through the Forbidden City!
Begonia flowers: Blooming period: Early to mid-April, around the Qingming Festival.
1. Wenhua Hall
In front of Wenhua Hall in April, the straight path is flanked by blooming begonia trees. The light pink sea of fragrant snow, when the breeze passes, falls like snow. After entering the Wumen gate and heading to the right, you can see it next to the Jinshui Bridge, passing through a Xiehe Gate, it's the area with the densest concentration of begonias in the Forbidden City. The first few pictures are taken at Wenhua Hall.
2. Xiehe Gate
This area of begonias complements the palace walls. With begonias in the front, clusters of pink and white, a breeze brings a pink snowfall.
3. Yihe Xuan
Yihe Xuan is located in the Treasure Gallery. Every spring, the begonia trees planted in years past bloom like smoke and rosy clouds, making the small courtyard with its full trees of blossoms especially unique.
4. Cining Palace Garden
Cining Palace is on the outer side of the three main halls, and the Cining Palace Garden is no less beautiful than the Imperial Garden. Throughout the year, different seasons bring different beautiful flowers and plants, including white begonias. The last picture is of the Cining Palace Garden.
