The serene quietude of the woods made me feel like I'd entered a secret sanctuary, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It was like having my slice of paradise. And, the spa! The spa at Fufu Kawaguchiko was nothing short of heavenly. Tucked away amidst nature's embrace, the soothing waters worked their magic on every tired muscle, melting away stress. Natto gratin is a specialty of FUFU Kawaguchiko. It can be enjoyed on the breakfast menu. If you don't like natto, a different menu is provided. When I sat down for breakfast, the staff asked me if I wanted natto gratin or another menu. The restaurant has an atmosphere where you can enjoy the fantastic garden at night, and in the morning, you can see a picturesque view of Mt. Fuji! The menu starts with a jelly that is gentle on the stomach after waking up. Each dish is packed with carefully selected ingredients and the chef's attention to detail. The egg yolk is so soft and round that you'll want to take a photo of it! I topped it with grated yam to make a luxurious egg over rice. I ate too much the night before and thought I wouldn't be able to eat it, but I was surprised that it went down so easily. The operator of FUFU Lake Kawaguchiko is KPG, a company with rich experience in operating high-end Japanese-style inns. They also operate famous luxury Japanese-style inns such as Haifeng Tower and Hakone Suimeisou. One of the major features of KPG's operation is "Black Butler", which is a Western-style butler loved by Japanese people. The butler, dressed in a three-piece suit, will provide you with the most attentive service. Seeing Mount Fuji with 200% visibility, Soaking in a private bath and sipping on a bottle of ice-cold milk, I belch. Owning Mount Fuji doesn't seem like a dream anymore. When choosing a room, the fourth floor is the first choice for its unobstructed and expansive view. Apart from the stunning scenery, The half-board meals at Fufu are also incredibly praiseworthy! It's my first time having such delicious breakfast and dinner included in the room rate.
