[Kyoto x Cherry Blossoms] Experience the magnificent view of cherry blossoms in the Edo culture🌸 *Includes photo spots
There are cherry blossom spots even if they are not temples or shrines in Kyoto city!!
The Fushimi Jikkokubune is a spectacular spring view that can be seen in the Fushimi area, which is located south of Kyoto city.
Here are three things to know! ① About Fushimi Jikkokubune ② About the photo spot ③ About the Jikkokubune
[① About Fushimi Jikkokubune] Enjoy the Fushimi Jikkokubune The Fushimi Canal is a canal that was used to transport people and goods from Fushimi, which flourished with sake breweries and other things during the Edo period, to Osaka. ⚓️ Along this canal, there is a row of cherry trees that stretches for about 1 km. 🌸 When in full bloom, the entire canal is covered in cherry blossoms, which is a truly beautiful sight. ✨ The photo is from last year, but I was very impressed to be able to go there when they were in full bloom. 🥹
[② About the photo spot] No matter where you take a photo along the canal, it is very beautiful, but there is a place where you can look down from above and take a photo like the top photo. 📸 This is the place where the pin is set up in the 7th photo, but if you go down along the canal, there is a pedestrian bridge, and I took the photo from there! There are other people who want to stand in the middle of the canal and take pictures, so please take turns taking pictures.
[③ About the Jikkoku-bune] If you come here, please enjoy the boat ride! Please note that you need to make a reservation in advance to ride here. ⚠️・Operating hours: 10:00-16:20 (different in autumn) Departs every 20 minutes・Time required: 55 minutes (round trip)・Fee: 1,500 yen for adults, 750 yen for children (elementary school students and younger)・Reservation site: Search for "Fushimi Jikkoku-bune reservation"You can enjoy it even without riding the boat!

Fushimi Ju-rokushiko, a hidden gem for cherry blossom viewing 🌸 The cherry blossoms along the river are stunning!
Fushimi Jikkoku Boat is a niche attraction! But the cherry blossoms here are super beautiful! It's located in Fushimi-ku, Kyoto, and you can take the subway to get here. Just follow the navigation and you'll come across a small bridge after passing through a residential area. During cherry blossom season, many people come here to take photos. This place is also home to a popular milk tea shop, which I didn't know was named after this area until I came to Kyoto!
🌸Near the pier.
Along the riverbank of the pier, there are so many cherry blossoms! They are super beautiful! There is also a boat parked on the shore, maybe it's specifically for taking photos.
🌸Cherry Blossom Cruise Reservation
On the official website, you can make a reservation for the boat. If you don't have a reservation, you can queue up at the river below on site. I arrived there around 11 am and was told that the next available boat would be in the afternoon around 3 pm, so I decided not to wait.
🌸Riverbank cherry blossoms
You can walk along the shore or riverbank in the direction that the boat is heading, and there are tons of cherry blossoms all the way! And there are fewer people after leaving the dock, which is perfect for taking photos! If you want to take pictures of boats, you can find them on the bridges or by the river, which are super beautiful!
The location may be relatively niche and not very crowded, but the cherry blossoms are in full bloom! It's perfect for cherry blossom viewing, and I heard that it's super beautiful during the cherry blossom rain! I really recommend going to see it!

🇯🇵Stunning Place for Sakura in Kyoto🌸
The location we're in is truly magical, with the breathtaking display of Sakura trees in full bloom. It's an unforgettable experience to witness the delicate petals dancing in the breeze and the vibrant colors of the flowers. What makes this moment even more special is that the Sakura bloomed earlier than predicted, making it feel like a hidden gem that only a fortunate few get to witness. I feel incredibly lucky to be here, savoring the beauty of nature and creating cherished memories that will last a lifetime.

Kyoto's Fushimi Ward is home to numerous sake breweries, renowned for its excellent water quality, famously known as Fushimizu. The most famous of these is Gokosui. This time, we took a stroll around the Fushimi area to experience a different side of Kyoto, visiting several local breweries. Among them, Fujioka Sake Brewery stands out as a relatively small, family-run operation, but their dedication to brewing is unwavering. Inside the brewery, there is a small tasting bar offering freshly brewed sake, making it a worthwhile visit.

Cherry Blossom Season Japan Tour: Fushimi, Kyoto.
Fushimi Jukkoku Boat and Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine in Kyoto.
From JR Nijo Station, transfer to Fushimi direction at Kyoto Station, get off at Nakashima Island Station, and walk two to three hundred meters to reach Fushimi Jikkoku Boat. Jikkoku Boat is the small boat shown in the picture. Cherry blossoms are in full bloom on both sides, and the bow of the boat is showered with cherry blossom petals in the breeze, which is truly beautiful. Unfortunately, the boat tickets have been sold out very early. It is said that at least reservations made in early February or even earlier are required to have a chance to buy tickets.
Although we didn't get to take a boat, walking along the riverbank or sitting quietly by the river is incredibly pleasant.
There is also a Laurel Crown brewery and memorial hall by the river. Friends who like to drink can go and have a look. Tickets are required to visit the inside of the brewery, so we didn't go in. The ticket booth at the entrance sells alcohol.
On the way back, stop by Fushimi Inari Taisha Shrine, where the layered red torii gates are a unique feature. If there are few people, you can capture the layers of light and shadow on the torii gates, but during the crowded season, it is difficult to take a solo shot without strangers in the frame.
Fortunately, we booked a table at the 200-meter-away Jing Zhi Hong BBQ restaurant near our hotel at night. It's located at the entrance of the Erjie commercial street and is very popular, so they only gave us 75 minutes. However, it turned out that this time is enough for you to finish a BBQ meal. Because the recommended combo platter doesn't require you to spend energy on ordering. The taste is good, and four of us spent about 45,000 yen including drinks. It's a bit expensive, but when you come to Japan, you can't miss Wagyu beef.

The first stop of the Kyoto Sakura Tour, Ten Stone Boat. This name is unfamiliar to many people, especially in the non-sakura season. There are very few tourists coming here. Even when the cherry blossoms are blooming, the tourists here are rare compared to other places, but it is a very recommended cherry blossom attraction. .
Traffic TIPS: Take the Keihan Main Line from Kyoto near Kintetsu and get off at Nakajima Station, then walk for about 10 minutes. There are two doors at the station, which are closer to the west gate. If it is the east gate, it will take a big circle. There is a direct bus to the

Fushi is not only a famous wine country, but also a famous water town since ancient times. It was built here in the Toyotomi Hideyoshi era. The waterway extends in all directions, and the commercial activities have been extremely popular. As the ten-ship boat for transporting wine and rice, it was the main means of transportation at that time. It was between Kyoto and Osaka. Of course, with the development of railway land transportation, river transport gradually declined. Shishizhou is no longer used as a means of transportation, but only for sightseeing.
Tourists can enjoy cherry blossoms along the river bank, or take a boat. The cost of the boat is 1,200 yen per person.
I personally recommend taking a boat ride, and it feels really beautiful in the cherry blossoms.
Remove the cherry blossoms. This is a beautiful town with a beautiful environment. It has the feeling of Jiangnan Water Town. If time permits, you can go around.
