Fuzhou Sanjiangkou Botanical Garden
Phase 1 of Fuzhou Botanical Garden is open, and Phase 2 is under construction. If you are a photography enthusiast, an outdoor walker, or a plant expert, you can choose a sunny and windy morning to get close to nature with the lush greenery and flowers blooming all over the mountains.
1. Address: No. 82, Sanjiang Road, Cangshan District, Fuzhou, Fujian
2. Opening hours: 9:00–18:00 daily (last entry at 17:00).
3. Ticket booking: Book on the official subscription account of the botanical garden, and select the corresponding ticket type, date, and timeslot (can be booked 14 days in advance). Each ID card can only be used to book one ticket for the same timeslot, and each user can only book for up to 5 people at the same time. Children under 1.2m do not need to buy tickets.
4. Tips for entering the park: You must present a successfully booked ticket and the QR code of the mini program to enter the park. If you need to exchange for a paper ticket, go to the ticket inspection entrance of the [Fuzhou Sanjiangkou Botanical Garden] Tourist Service Center. The admission ticket is strictly implemented as a one-person-one-code online ticket.
5. Transportation: Self-driving: Navigate to the "South Gate of Sanjiangkou Botanical Garden". Subway: Take Line 1 or Line 4 and transfer to Bus 35 at the corresponding station (Huluzhen Station, Huangshan Station, Paixia Station, Chengmen Station, Sanjiaocheng Station, Sanjiangkou Station) and get off at Fu'an Station. Bus: Take Bus 35 and get off at Fu'an Station.
6. People exempt from booking tickets: 1. Seniors over 65 years old (must hold an ID card or other valid documents), 2. Active or retired military personnel (must hold an officer's certificate, soldier's certificate, retired military preferential treatment certificate, etc.), 3. Disabled people (must hold a disability certificate). People with disabilities in both lower limbs or other severe disabilities can be accompanied by one person, and the accompanying person can exchange for a paper ticket with their ID card.
7. Attractions: Banyan Tree, Blue Lake, Flower Stream Post Station (there is a painting exhibition upstairs), Orchid Greenhouse: The Orchid Garden covers an area of 83,700 square meters and currently collects and preserves nearly 1,000 species of orchids, including Cattleya, which is internationally known as the "King of Orchids", Phalaenopsis, known as the "Queen of Orchids", Dendrobium, which is both medicinal and ornamental, and Paphiopedilum, also known as the "Lady's Slipper" (it is said that Paphiopedilum is the fairy shoe accidentally left in the forest when the goddess Venus first descended, so it is also called the "Fairy Slipper Orchid"), as well as other orchid species that bloom all year round.
