Glenfinnan Viaduct
Address - A830 Rd, Glenfinnan PH37 4LT, United Kingdom
Highlights - Railway viaduct. Used for several Harry Potter movies. Scenic spot.
Rating - 5/5
Woooo. One of the lovely place for Harry Potter fans to visit! So this scenic spot is where Harry Potter movies are being filmed to head to Hogwarts!
I would recommend if you are heading there, two things to note:
1. Do check on the train timing as I heard that it will only pass by twice in a day (1 in Morning, another in Afternoon) if you would like to capture the moment.
2. Do estimated around 30 - 40 minutes time as you may want to capture some pictures while hiking and there might be a wait as the train does a pit stop at Glenfinnan station!
You may want to drive there with friends but parking needs to be paid. But I would also suggest to go there via tour as they would plan out the itinerary well and know when to bring you there during the time and following tour, you might have the priority to explore the places and get yourself a nice spot first.

Harry Potter film set in Scotland 🏴
Glenfinnan viaduct in the Scottish highlands. The area itself is called Gelnfinnan and there a few things to do in the area.
This viaduct can be easily accessed in the Scottish Highlands either through driving a car or using a coach tour. The town of Fort William is not far away by car. Harry Potter fans will love this as it is used in the film as was the viaduct.
Once you get to the attraction, you can take a small walk up to the peak of the hill for a view of the viaduct. The path is not paved but it is still an accessible route to take and there are benches along the way. The second route to take would be to walk under the viaduct past a very beautiful and clean stream. Lastly, there is a very nice loch with a monument which is the perfect place to sit and watch the world go by!
There is also a small gift shop which has toilets and a cafe. Also, there is water outside of the gift shop! #Nature #mytripvlog

Harry Potter train bridge 🤩
THIS ONE’S FOR YOU POTTERHEADS!
Studying in Edinburgh gave me the opportunity to spend much time in the Scottish Highlands, and the most famous Harry Potter landmark there has to be the famous Glenfinnan Viaduct 🏴✨
👉🏼 To take pics with the train and iconic billowing smoke, do go during the summer as the train doesn’t run during winter 👈🏼
Other than the bridge, there are many beautiful places to visit in the Scottish Highlands and the drive there is so gorgeous and mesmerizing, road trips are always fun whether you’re a Potterhead or not 🤗
