Grand Canyon National Park Adventure: Helicopter Tour and Thrilling Cliffside Views
#nationalparks #100waysoftravel #grandcanyon #travelusa
Grand Canyon National Park is an iconic destination and a must-visit when exploring the western United States. Known for its immense size and breathtaking beauty, the park is home to the awe-inspiring Grand Canyon, a natural wonder carved by the Colorado River over millions of years. Its vast expanse stretches 277 miles long, up to 18 miles wide, and over a mile deep, showcasing dramatic layers of red rock that tell the story of Earth's geological history.
We chose a helicopter tour to fully experience the grandeur of the canyon from above. Though rain almost led to its cancellation, we were fortunate the weather cleared, and the helicopter departed on time. The views from the sky were unforgettable, offering a bird's-eye perspective of the canyon's depth and scale.
On the ground, I attempted to take a photo at the cliff's edge, but the sheer drop was terrifying—I ended up crawling for a not-so-perfect shot, but the experience was well worth the thrill.

We had always dreamed of visiting the Grand Canyon, one of the most awe-inspiring natural wonders of the world, located in the state of Arizona, United States.
When we finally visited, no words can describe the overwhelming feeling we experienced as we beheld the Grand Canyon. It stretches approximately 277 miles (446 kilometers) in length, up to 18 miles (29 kilometers) in width, and reaches depths of over a mile (6,000 feet or 1,800 meters), right before our eyes. Its vastness far exceeded our expectations.
The Grand Canyon showcases a wide range of geological features and formations, including buttes, mesas, and rock layers that reveal millions of years of Earth's history. It also supports diverse ecosystems, from desert scrublands at the rim to pine forests in the higher elevations of the North Rim, providing habitat for numerous plant and animal species.
The Grand Canyon was carved over millions of years by the Colorado River and its tributaries, revealing layers of colorful sedimentary rock that provide a geological record spanning billions of years. It felt as though the artist known as 'nature' had spent billions of years creating this masterpiece, and it was truly an honor to witness the Grand Canyon in our lifetime.

Grand Canyon National Park
Must visit place in USA. It’s huge and magnificent. There are many trails and view points in Grand Canyon. Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history. Viewpoints include Mather Point, Yavapai Observation Station and architect Mary Colter’s Lookout Studio and her Desert View Watchtower. Lipan Point, with wide views of the canyon and Colorado River, is a popular, especially at sunrise and sunset. #beautifuldestinations #travelinspiration #travelusa #travelworld #travelphotography

HorseShoe Bend
Located at the east rim of the grand canyon.
You will be able to catch magnificent view with a short hike of 1.3mile +/-.
But be warned that it could get really really hot out there but the walk is worth it.
It feels like you are in the land of the dinosaurs. How dinosaurs roamed the earth.
The path are well marked and do not require any high level experience to do these tracks. But do remember to bring extra food and water as there are so many things to see and out here.
Give yourself about 2-3 days here to experience the different rock formations and explore the different hikes

Grand Canyon Moments
One of the most iconic attraction in the USA.
Various way to get here such as 1. helicopter, 2. car, etc...In my moments, would recommend to oversee all the historical site at the sky due to the limited road access.
Rome is not built in a day, as well as Grand Canyon. it took decades to become what it like today, and its history make the site stand out from the crowd.
Must go place before die!
If you enjoy, welcome to add my Ig:harveyhauz & share our moments as friend🙂

This summer, I took my dad on a road trip through the USA. On the last day, I tricked him into thinking we would be driving to the Grand Canyon, when instead I had booked a helicopter ride to fly there. It was one of his most memorable travel experiences to date.

Grand Canyon National Park, one of the most beautiful destinations. Amazing to see in person after seeing it online and in books for so many years.

Colorado Grand Canyon. It is home to Huangshi and Josephite, and has become the three largest national parks in the United States. In 1869, the American artillery major Powell led an expedition, sailing by boat from the upper reaches of the Colorado River to the bottom of the Grand Canyon. He wrote the canyon scenery and the thrills he experienced, and wrote it as a travelogue, which was widely publicized and attracted the attention of the whole country. The Colorado National Protected Area was established in 1911. In 1919, the US Congress passed a bill to classify the deepest and most spectacular section of the Grand Canyon about 170 kilometers into the Grand Canyon National Park. The South Rim is more suitable for self-driving and hiking because of the perfect facilities. There is no connection between the South Rim and the North Rim.
90% of people who go to Grand Canyon National Park will travel to the South Wall. It is located north of Tussan and is the southern entrance to the park. The Canyon Scenic Information Center is located not far from the Midi Station, where visitors can get directions and attractions. The South Gorge is open all day throughout the year, and the North Gorge is in mid-May to mid-May, Xixia Glass Bridge in winter 8

Take a helicopter ride through the Grand Canyon
The last time I went to Arizona, I was really bummed for a long time because I didn’t get to go to the Grand Canyon in Colorado due to time constraints. How could I not go to the Grand Canyon this time in Las Vegas! Driving from Vegas to the Grand Canyon takes 4-5 hours, it is a must-do to see the Grand Canyon from a helicopter~
There are 2 types of aircraft for viewing the Grand Canyon. The prices on the official website are 259 US dollars and 299 US dollars. The duration is around 20-30 minutes and 40 minutes. We chose the 40 minute option and spent almost 320 US dollars. We flew down to the bottom of the valley, took photos, took a boat, and explored Lake Colorado. However, I personally feel that it is quite expensive to spend more than RMB 2,000 to take this tour. What would you choose?

In the Grand Canyon of Colorado, when the male voice in the headphones said "Welcome to the Grand Canyon," I was so excited that it seemed to be an American legend. The
Colorado Grand Canyon is located in the northwestern part of the Colorado Plateau in the northwestern United States. The Grand Canyon is mostly red. From the bottom to the top, there are rock formations from the Cambrian to the Cenozoic. The layers are clear, the tones are different, and the representative fossils of various geological ages are also called "living." "Geological history textbook" is one of the seven wonders of the world. The rivers in some parts of the canyon are rushing, so sailing along the canyon attracts many adventure enthusiasts to experience.
also reminded us that we can easily see wild animals near the Grand Canyon and the Gobi, but I have never seen it...

The South Gorge of the Grand Canyon National Park has a large range and many attractions. It takes a long time for travelers to visit all the southern edge attractions. The bus route in the park covers the viewpoints of the essence of the South Rim, which is convenient and fast, and is the most popular way to visit. If you are driving a car, you can drive to the visitor center and then take a bus tour.
Ticket service staff will ask you which country to come from, he will give you the corresponding language of the Grand Canyon map, very human.
Tickets: 30/car, 15/person (cyclist), valid for 7 days, you can visit the South Rim and the North Rim.
Special attention before the line:
1, even if the South Gorge in mid-May, the daytime temperature is already above 30 degrees, the ultraviolet rays are very powerful, please pay attention to sunscreen, sunscreen, sunglasses, Sun hats and women's sunshades are essential. It is also recommended to carry bottled water on your body to replenish moisture at any time.
2, there are few restaurants in the South Gorge except the visitor center, so it is recommended to bring your own dry food.
3, there are many well-planned viewpoints in Nanxia. Although the viewing angles are slightly different, each viewing point can have a magnificent view of the Grand Canyon. Some of the viewing spots are not equipped with guardrails. It can be enjoyed at close range, but it also requires extra attention.
South Rim provides 4 free bus routes in the park. All the viewing stations, museums, visitor centers and other service facilities in the Unicom Park are environmentally friendly. The Grand Canyon attractions are mainly concentrated on the red and orange line bus routes, all of which take 3-4 hours to complete.

❤️Grand Canyon is bussing❤️
Grand Canyon National Park, in Arizona, is home to much of the immense Grand Canyon, with its layered bands of red rock revealing millions of years of geological history.
Grand Canyon National Park is a remarkable destination that draws in excess of 5 million visitors annually from around the globe.
Here are some of tips which I would like to share as I believe would enhance the whole experience -
✨Plan to enter the park on a weekday as weekends are particularly busy.
✨as it would crowded with long queue lines at the entrance , do consider Arrive at the entrance either before 10 A.M.
✨I went by car via south rim, the entrance fee is $35 per vehicle and is for 7 days. This is regardless of the no. of passengers in the car. So if 4 passengers , it will definitely be more worth. You do the math.
✨you can visit the view point by car, unless you prefer to hike, of course.
Overall it’s a great destination, see it to believe it 😍

Dawn illuminates the magnificent sunrise at the Grand Canyon.
In the early morning, walking along the edge of the Grand Canyon National Park, the surroundings are still quiet as the night fades away. The distant canyon is faintly visible, like a sleeping giant, quietly waiting for the first ray of dawn. The colors of the sky begin to change, from indigo to purple-red, then to orange-yellow, gradually blending together as if the heavens and the earth are merging at this moment.
As the sun slowly rises, golden light pours into the canyon, revealing the textures of the rock walls. Every ridge and groove is sculpted vividly by the light. The vast canyon is bathed in warm colors, with deep shadows and bright light intertwining to create a magnificent contrast that leaves one breathless.
Standing at the edge of the canyon, the magnificent scene unfolds like a painting. The light of the sunrise not only awakens the earth but also seems to awaken a sense of awe and tranquility within. The morning light of the Grand Canyon is a grand symphony of nature, moving one to marvel at its beauty.

This is my third time to the Grand Canyon in the United States. This time I chose to stay in the scenic area for one night. Not only did I have plenty of time to visit the viewing points on both sides, but I could also enjoy the sunrise and sunset of the Grand Canyon.
The hotel I chose was Bright Angel Lodge. The location is very good, right next to the Grand Canyon, and very close to the starting point of the red line shuttle.
That evening, I arrived at Hopi Point before sunset. This is the best place to watch the sunset. After sunset, there were several red line shuttles waiting to take tourists back.
The next morning, I drove less than ten minutes to Mather Point to watch the sunrise. I was lucky this time. The morning glow before sunrise was brilliant and colorful, which was amazing!
The cabin conditions of Bright Angel Lodge are okay, but the price is a bit expensive. The room is not soundproof, but I feel that the guests in the hotel are trying to keep quiet and do not want to disturb others. It's just that the toilet noise is a bit loud.
