Hong Kong Art Tour, New Exhibition at Pace Gallery: Sea Change
Continuing my Hong Kong art tour, today I want to talk about one of my favorite galleries, Pace Gallery located in Central.
Pace Gallery's Hong Kong space is currently presenting Keltie Ferris's solo exhibition 'Sea Change,' showcasing the artist's paintings and works on paper. Her artistic practice is deeply influenced by her childhood experiences living in Alaska and Mexico for extended periods, placing genderless, nameless phantom figures in vast, ethereal landscapes to capture and depict the unique light and atmosphere of these scenes.
Founded in 1960, Pace Gallery is a globally renowned contemporary art gallery. Now in its seventh decade, it continues to uphold its mission to support the world's most influential and creative artists, sharing these forward-looking artistic creations with people around the world.

Visiting Exhibitions in Hong Kong→Perhaps the city is a prison for starlight
Zhou Junhui and Huang Jinxu's solo exhibitions.
This exhibition takes the light of the city as a perspective,
penetrating time, culture, and history,
to explore the impact of light on the urban landscape and rural scenery of Hong Kong.
I really like one of Zhou Junhui's works
'Perhaps the city is a prison for starlight' Picture 34
It seems like a simple sketch, but it is a true portrayal of the city's real life.
From a distance, it is a beautiful nightscape, the prosperity of Hong Kong, the scene loved by tourists.
However, as I slowly approached, I felt a kind of pressure,
the towering buildings, densely packed, gave a suffocating feeling of being oppressed.
This is probably the joy and sadness that the city bestows upon people. The scene looks joyful, but when you get close, the feeling is completely different.
