#WinterTravelDestination #Sunrise #HadongTravel I saw the first sunrise of 2024 in a really meaningful way Hadong Cable Car, which was specially operated from 5 AM on January 1st🚠 The first sunrise of 2024 that I saw by flying through the dark night sky to the top of Geumosan Mountain was truly moving🧡 I've always seen the sunrise from the sea, but the sunrise I saw from the top of the mountain was so beautiful and wonderful that I can't describe it in words! In particular, the scenery of the cable car and the rising sun together was so beautiful that it was unrealistic🥹 It must have been a sunrise event actively recommended by Hadong-gun, They even gave out rice cake soup, fish cakes, green tea, and coffee, and SBS News also broadcasted it live early in the morning, so the broadcasting station vehicles were there, making the sunrise even more realistic! It was a little foggy, but I was still able to see a beautiful sunrise, so I was so grateful! The parking lot is quite spacious, so there is no need to worry about parking, but for those with a lot of luggage, it is recommended to drop off the luggage at the entrance as you have to walk 2-3 minutes from the parking lot to the resort. ☕️👔 There is a cafe lounge and a business room. While enjoying the vibes and atmosphere shopping at the traditional marketplace, the fun should also be available for savouring authentic marketplace food as well. This restaurant located in the marketplace serves traditional Sanchae Bibimbap (mountain vegetables mixed rice) and other simple dishes such as scallion pancake, fried seafood etc. The taste of the bibimbap is very authentic where daily fresh greens were added in the rice, mixed with chilli sauce and sesame oil. At the mountain foot of Jirisan near Hadong valley, lies a petite yet vibrate marketplace. This marketplace was established several hundred years ago during Joseon dynasty for merchants around the region to gather and sell/trade their goods as transportation is very inconvenient at the olden days. Today, it remained vibrant especially during weekend where people around the region and city area escape for a weekend getaway to visit and grab some high quality goods especially mushrooms, herbs and persimmons. There are also marketplace restaurants serving traditional food like bibimbap, dcallion pancake, beef soup with rice, raw freshwater fish etc. A truly great experience to visit and shop the traditional way. #fallingforfall #tripblazers

While checking out nice scenery is important when sightseeing, having nice meal is also esential during the trip. Who wouldn't like to enjoy a nice scenery while having a nice view? This restaurant located by the valley near Baemsagol offers a marvelous view of autumn foliage leaves by the dining area, called Dalkong restaurant. Grilled black pig (pork) is a special delicacy in Jirisan and many restaurants offers this delicacy but the main plus point for this restaurant is the scenic view of the foliages. The grilled ginseng is also very nice and healthy as well, coupled with some rice wine or beer, it is an enjoyable meal indeed. #fallingforfall

It is an annual event of autumn again, and this autumn will not be complete without the viewing of colours and foliages. This time we visited the famous Jirisan located in the middle of Korea, towards the south side. The forecast is pretty accurate as we could see the fiery reds, orange and yellow leaves turned from green. Jirisan spans a huge area across several provinces so we visited a valley called Baemsangol. The valley with a river spans around 2km before reaching the end of the pedestrian way. It is said that there are still bears living in Jirisan as their habitat called "bandal" which means half moon. When April arrives, the Hwagae region looks as if it has been carpeted in snow. In fact, it is the beautiful white flowers of the region’s numerous cherry blossom trees that transform the landscape into a soft downy wonderland. One of the most popular attractions of the festival is the 10ri Cherry Blossom Road (ri is a traditional Korean measurement unit, equalling approximately 4.5km). It is also known as ‘marriage road’, as it is said that if lovers walk down this road while holding hands, they will get married and stay together forever. Apart from the stunning beauty of the cherry blossoms, there is also an exciting series of seasonal programs and cultural events for guests to enjoy. Nearby attractions include the historic Hwagae Market and numerous restaurants serving the province’s traditional cuisines such as sliced raw sweetfish and king crab broth.

There are many various valleys in Sancheong Jirisan National Park, but it is said that the weather here in front of Daewonsa Temple gets hot every year, and when summer approaches, many people in the water became crowded.
