I signed up for the Oirase Stream experience activity "Autumn Leaves Walk". The activity lasts for two hours and you can see the beautiful scenery in the early morning. We took the hotel's transportation to Hakkoda. The mist in the morning and the clear water of the river made it feel like we were in a fairyland.
