There are many powder snow paradise in Japan, but there are two mountain peaks that have been the sacred places of many skiers. One is the Asahi Snow Mountain in Hokkaido, and the other is today's protagonist, the Hakkoda Mountain in Aomori Prefecture. Skiing in Hakkoda is the real skiing, outdoor equipment must be equipped with high quality products, ski suits should be warm and comfortable, skiing and skiing shoes should be properly adjusted, ski goggles and anti-fog functions must be all and easy to use. Ski cap gloves... To go to Hakkoda skiing, in fact, you must be mentally prepared first, which is very different from the domestic ski trails. Bajiatian Mountain is rich in snowfall, and the smog scenery is self-evident. Wear the equipment and enter the junior ski slopes. The slope and height are completely beyond the expected, but the feeling of falling on the real snow is particularly cool! Many people are no strangers to the name of Hakkoda, not because of skiing, but because of the death of the marching army in Hachimanda 100 years ago. In response to the extremely cold march exercise conducted by the Japanese-Russian War in Hachimanda, 199 Japanese soldiers were frozen to death. This is the most tragic event in the history of the Japanese Army. In the 1980s, it was remake into the movie "Baoba Tianshan" starring Takakura Ken, which also reflects Bakota. How terrible is the winter in the mountains. The wild snow that slipped once in Hakkoda has also become the favorite of all the world's most adventurous skiers.

Aomori: A Northern Gem of Nature and Culture
Aomori, located at the northern tip of Japan's Honshu Island, is a dreamlike puzzle of breathtaking scenery and rich heritage, creating a unique and charming landscape.
Nature's beauty is a poem for all seasons. In spring, cherry blossoms bloom in full splendor at Hirosaki Park, with pink and white flowers surrounding the ancient castle. Petals fall like snow, creating a romantic path filled with fragrance. In summer, the Oirase Stream plays a refreshing melody, with clear water meandering through green forests and rocky cliffs. Sunlight filters through the leaves, casting dancing shadows, creating a dreamlike fairyland. Moss and wildflowers add color along the way, making it a perfect escape from the summer heat. In autumn, Mount Hakkoda is a colorful painting, with red maples and yellow leaves blending with the clear blue sky and white clouds. A cable car ride to the top offers a panoramic view of the majestic autumn scenery. In winter, Aomori Port is embraced by drift ice, with huge ice blocks colliding and floating. Under the sunlight, they reflect a dreamy blue light, resembling a polar wonderland. Warm lights on the shore contrast with the white snow, creating a unique charm.
Culturally, the Nebuta Festival is a lively event, with giant colorful lanterns in various shapes. Dancers shout and parade with the lanterns, passing down a century-old passion and vitality. Traditional apple picking is also popular, with orchards filled with the aroma of apples, showcasing Aomori's simple lifestyle and folk beauty.

Aomori Prefecture | Towada City, Yachi Onsen, one of Japan's three secret hot springs.
| Towada City, Yachi Onsen, one of Japan's three secret hot springs. Yachi Onsen is a very secretive Japanese-style hot spring inn with a history of more than 400 years. It is located deep in Mt. Hakkoda in Aomori Prefecture and is known as one of Japan's three secret hot springs. The hot spring's bath and other facilities are all made of wood, and it is a well-preserved Japanese traditional "Japanese-style hot spring."
The spring is a simple sulfur spring (low hypotonic weak acid spring) and is a foot self-spraying source spring. There is no open-air hot spring, but there is a mixed-gender bath, which is divided into the 42-degree milky white "Upper Spring White Turbid Spring" and the 38-degree "Lower Spring Spirit Spring."
The room does not have a separate bathroom, and since it is an old wooden building, there may be noise, but it is fine. I slept very comfortably.
Breakfast and dinner are made with local ingredients, and the grilled rockfish for dinner is very tender and delicious.
Address: 1 Yachi, Horyo, Towada City, Aomori Prefecture
The inn has a shuttle bus from Aomori Station at 13:30 and Shin-Aomori Station at 13:45, which needs to be reserved in advance, and the journey takes about 1.5 hours.

Mount Hakkoda
#appreciatemaple
This casual trip to the Northeast was not intended to see maple trees.
Later I saw red maples all over Japan and even reported it
Because I travel freely, I just go wherever I see.
The weather in Japan is really accurate. It just rained heavily.
As a result, when we arrived at Hakkoda Mountain, the sun was shining brightly.
Take the cable car and the mountains will change colors. It’s so beautiful and worth it.
But when we got to the top of the mountain, it started to rain ice.
It’s really cold at the top of Mt. Hakkoda
The clouds and fog came all at once and it was impossible to see the scenery at all.
I had to eat first and it was really worth the wait.
Super super super beautiful scenery⋯⋯
Take the cable car down from the top of Mount Hakkoda
The clouds and fog have dispersed and the sun has come out.
The color is good, layered, rich and beautiful
This trip turned out to be a maple viewing trip by mistake.

Panoramic view of Mount Hakko at six o'clock in the morning
I signed up for the Oirase Stream experience activity "Autumn Leaves Walk". The activity lasts for two hours and you can see the beautiful scenery in the early morning. We took the hotel's transportation to Hakkoda. The mist in the morning and the clear water of the river made it feel like we were in a fairyland. Although the tour guide and other people were traveling with us. I couldn’t understand the Japanese they spoke, but everyone was very enthusiastic and took precious photos together.

Hakkoda Ropeway
Located in the southern part of Aomori City, Mount Hakkoda offers a breathtaking view. Hakkoda is one of Japan's 100 famous mountains and is part of the Towada-Hachimantai National Park, along with the Oirase Gorge. It consists of several volcanic mountain ranges, including Tamoyachiyama, Odake, Iodake, and Akakuradake. In autumn, over ten thousand trees turn red, completely dyeing the Hakkoda mountain range in a vast sea of red leaves, creating a spectacular and awe-inspiring sight.
