5 Days in Iceland | Healed by Nature at the End of the Earth
This trip to Iceland was truly healing! But first, a small downside: the weather in Iceland is really unpredictable. One moment it's sunny, and the next it might rain or snow. However, these little surprises don't affect my love for this magical land at all. 😍 Here are some moments I want to share with you.
[First Impression of Iceland]
As soon as I got off the plane, I was amazed by the colorful houses in Reykjavik! The air was fresh and crisp. 🌬 In the evening, we went to the famous Harpa Concert Hall, where the lights reflected on the sea. It was absolutely stunning.
[Golden Circle, Nature's Masterpiece]
Exploring the Golden Circle, I was awestruck by nature's masterpiece! 🌋 The geological wonders of Thingvellir National Park, the eruption of geysers, and the grandeur of Gullfoss Waterfall left me in awe at every turn. 😱
[Blue Lagoon, Where Ice Meets Fire]
I also experienced the famous Blue Lagoon, where ice meets fire! 🧊🔥 Soaking in the warm blue waters while surrounded by a snowy world is an indescribable feeling! 💧 And the silica mud mask at the Blue Lagoon made my skin super smooth. Ladies, you must try it! 🧖♀
[Glacier Hiking]
Our guide took us glacier hiking. Wearing crampons and walking on the glacier, every step was filled with the unknown and excitement. Although it was a bit tiring, standing at the top of the glacier and overlooking the whole of Iceland made all the fatigue worthwhile. 💪
[Northern Lights Night]
We went to see the Northern Lights! The green light danced in the night sky, as if we were in a fairy tale world. At that moment, all the waiting and anticipation turned into awe. The beauty of nature was so overwhelming that it brought tears to my eyes. 💚

48 Hours in Iceland: Lava, Waterfalls, and a Whole Lot of Wind!
#magicalxmastrip #iceland
Got two days in Iceland? Pack your sense of adventure (and a sturdy jacket), because this island has enough wonder to fill weeks, and you’ve got just 48 hours to experience it all.
Start your whirlwind tour in Reykjavik, Iceland’s quirky capital. Spend the morning wandering through colorful streets, grab a coffee at a local café, and explore Hallgrímskirkja Church for panoramic city views. Don’t forget to check out the Harpa Concert Hall’s stunning architecture—perfect for that Instagram shot.
Next, hit the Golden Circle route. First stop: the Geysir Hot Springs, where you can watch Strokkur erupt in a dramatic display of boiling water. Then, head to Gullfoss Waterfall, where you’ll feel the mist on your face as the massive cascade plunges into the canyon below. Bonus points if you try to take a selfie with the spray without getting soaked.
After a quick lunch, make your way to Thingvellir National Park, where the North American and Eurasian tectonic plates are pulling apart. It’s a surreal place to hike, and if you’re feeling brave, you can even snorkel in the Silfra Fissure, where the water is so clear you’ll think you’re swimming in a dream.
For your second day, head south to Seljalandsfoss and Skogafoss waterfalls, two of Iceland’s most iconic. Finish your adventure at Reynisfjara, the famous black sand beach, before heading back to Reykjavik for your flight, wondering why 48 hours in Iceland is never enough.

The music concert hall named after Harp
#familytrips2024
Iceland has a music concert hall named after Harp: Harpa. It is also the icelandic name for the first month of spring and thus a sign of brighter times haha. This concert hall has a distinctive coloured glass facade inspired by the basalt landscape of the country. The interior of the concert hall is pretty but do note that toilets here require a fee to get in.

As we approached Harpa Concert Hall, anticipation filled the air. The shimmering glass facade reflected the excitement in our eyes. Inside, the grandeur of the architecture took our breath away. As the music enveloped us, we were transported to another realm, united in the shared experience of beauty and harmony. In that moment, amidst the soaring melodies, we felt closer than ever as a family, our hearts beating in synchrony with the rhythm of the performance. It was a memory etched in our minds forever, a testament to the power of music to bond souls.
Looking ahead, our next dream destination is Kyoto, Japan. We yearn to explore its rich cultural heritage, stroll through serene bamboo forests, and immerse ourselves in the tranquility of ancient temples. Kyoto's blend of tradition and modernity promises a captivating journey, filled with unforgettable moments and cherished memories for our family to treasure.

This is one of the iconic buildings in Iceland and in Iceland they called “Harpa”, which means a concert hall. This concert hall was opened in 2011 and I think the architecture is really beautiful and looks modern. The glass structure is beautiful with the transparent glass and window. I have been looked at it inside and I already liked this structure very much. The design is just incredible !!

Harpa Concert Hall, Reykjavik
#fallingseason
Harpa Concert Hall in Reykjavik was designed by Danish-Icelandic artist Olafur Elíasson alongside Henning Larsen Architects and Batteríið Architects. The kaleidoscope effect of the crystalline shell deploys light and colour in a way that plays with your senses when you enter the building. It looks like a shimmering sculpture that sits on the shoreline connecting the sky and the sea.
Harpa is one of Reykjavík’s most striking landmarks and a centre of cultural and social life in the very heart of the city. Harpa is a tourist destination and an award-winning work of art that has been visited by millions of people since opening in 2011.
Despite young age, Harpa has already received numerous awards, both for its architecture and as a concert and conference centre. These include the highly respected Mies van der Rohe -European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture Award, which Harpa won in 2013. Harpa was chosen as one of the best concert houses of the new millenium by Gramophone Magazine 2010 and rewarded as the Best Conference Centre in Europe by Business

[about Harpa]/ Hh/Hapa | The design concept of the Harpa Reykjavik Concert Hall is designed to reflect the natural beauty and aurora of Iceland. Harpa Concert Hall is a modern, design-inspired building by the Danish company Henning Larsen Architects and the artist lafur Elasson, made up of glass panels of different colours. The sun is refracted through the glass exterior of Harpa, and the light and shadow mottled space creates a wonderful space for photography.

"In 2013, the Hapa-Reykjavik Concert Hall and Conference Center in Iceland won the world's most prestigious architectural award, the European Union Contemporary Architecture Award - Mies van der Rohe in 2013 Award."
[About taking pictures]
It is recommended to choose a layer to go up after entering the door. In fact, it is not high. On the fifth floor, there are many places where you can take pictures. Try to choose some corner shots, which blend with the huge sense of space of the entire concert hall, which can be very futuristic. The later photos can be processed to be brighter.

I accidentally fell into the kaleidoscope
The students who came to Icelandic capital Reykjavik must know the two places where they must punch, one is the cathedral, the other is here, the Hubble concert hall and conference hall.
Designed by Icelandic and Danish design companies, it is inspired by the aurora of Iceland and the shape of volcanic stones. The facade and interior of the building are like a huge kaleidoscope. Thousands of irregular geometrical glass change the dreamy color with the intensity of the sun. We are basically cloudy this time, so in this light the entire concert hall is green and gold.
How to shoot?
1, the structure of the building must be displayed. After entering the hall to the second floor, there is a staircase leading to the top floor, which is equipped with a multi-prism wall to capture the characteristics of the entire hall. With a sense of depth. Of course, this is also a good place for fairies. The whole room is dark, where you can choose to stand or sit on the stairs, but the face must face the window, let the light brighten your face.
2, there is a coffee shop on the first floor, you can sit here, use decorative plants as a foreground portrait, and the cups and trays here are also very nice. I have nothing to do with household items such as bottles and cans. resistance. Its better to take pictures, and the golden scenery is still quite close to the green building photos.
3 What if the light is still too dark? It's better to take a ceiling at a low angle and bring a silhouette of your side. It's also a good choice.

The concert hall built in Iceland in 2011, Harpa Harpa, is located on the seaside of Reykjavik. It has a shiny appearance. The glass tiles of different shapes and colors reflect the blue sky and the sea during the day and the bright lighting effect at night. This design makes the interior of the concert hall very bright, and the sunlight enters the room through the glass, forming a wonderful light and shadow.
It has a number of concert halls of different sizes, named after the nature of Iceland. The Eldborg concert hall that listened to the symphony was named after a crater, so the interior color is also like a magma. You can buy a concert ticket on the official website in advance, or sign up for a tour guide at the concert hall.

Walking by
Walking by the sea, it is hard to ignore such a building. Under the refraction of the sun, sparkling, the entire building is almost dazzling, so you can't open your eyes. Its glass wall color distribution is inspired by the unpredictable aurora. The parking next to the harper center has a time limit and can only be stopped for 15 minutes. Please pay attention to the departure time. It is best to change the parking position after 15 minutes. The visit to
harper is free. You can walk around in it, and the sun shining through the light glass makes up a fun light and shadow game.
